If you live in Europe, this ain't always true. Well i wouldn't really know. I was talking merely on hearsay. But i imagine now that the economy has recovered from back when recession hit, things are much more stable and finding bargains like you could back then will be a lot harder now. Europe and the US look like they're heading for another recession, thanks to Greece, Italy, and the Republican Party. The 5k I have is being spent on a car as I said. I'll be making 100k$+ after uni too. You mean you will have a consistent flow of money of 100K every year? xD Somehow I get the feeling you're over-estimating your income... and ignoring the costs of life. :rolleyes:

To be fair, you should not look at stock investing as a primary means of making money. Investing 5,000 dollars won't do that much good anyway, since if you really want to make a lot of money from dividend and trading stock you'll need a lot more money to start with, know what you are doing, and have some luck... Investing is especially risky with the current economical climate, and low amount of money aren't going to do you much good, even if you don't lose it. Really, you're better off just getting a job and saving up your money. Depending on the amount of time you have between now and the time you need it you could lend it out to certain institutions though for that too, you'll need a lot more than 5K.

To be honest I think the best solution for you would be to remain P2p, despite playing less during college, and just relax and get it a little later than try and get it within x days. You could kill bork for charms and grind to achieve it as it is, but without knowing your stats and current bank that doesn't really leave much to be advised.

The punishment for botting is having stats reset to lower levels. Bots are no longer banned. It's also rather obvious Jagex has no control over them, nor any decent means of detecting bots.

No, I just dislike the whole notion of the bonus xp weekends. There is no fun in them for me, so I refuse to play, or just idle. This is how I've spent the past weekends too, either offline or idling.

^To add to the above, assuming said skiller is f2p, would it not be easier for a skiller to join the other gang, and kill the level 2 Jonny the Beard? That would be possible without directly gaining a combat level. I think that, with the above raised points, it is reasonable to conclude that such a note isn't necessary in the quest guide. This was already on the guide's page, however I've moved it to the proper part of the walkthrough and reworded it some. Credited you, locked topic, you know the drill. |^_^|

You could state your interest in multiple roles - I believe some crew members currently fulfill more than one role anyway. Don't quote me on it though. I officially am a Guides and Quest editor, but I also do item and bestiary entries, did many treasure trails updates, etc. You'll pretty much always do more than what's relevant to your official role. It's up to you really.
