Cultivating the land in North Korea. Beginning to grow crops. I will turn this country into a proper communism, where people aren't starving all the goddamn time.

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
But a crystal wouldn't make sense. An avatar is the presence of a god in a mortal body. It would more logically create an aura of sorts, not some form of crystal armour.

"If you're ever in ___, you absolutely HAVE to ___ ___!"
Hmm well let's see... If you're ever in Brisbane, you absolutely have to... -watch the Southbank fireworks -visit Southbank (preferably before watching the fireworks (you don't actually have to go there to watch the fireworks)) -walk along the Goodwill Bridge, and visit The Gardens -go rock-climbing (and abseiling) -go on a cruise -visit Queen Street Mall, and hang around under the glass piazza for the occasional artist/band that pops up -ride your bike along the river/s and over the bridge/s (walking is boring) I guess that's about it.

Decided it was time for a change of hairstyle. Apologies for the crude angle, it's late and I rushed the style. Should be able to do it better in the morning - I was going for a Castiel-type style.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince [REVIEW]
I agree with you 100%. I'm also mad that they skipped the big fight after Dumbledore was killed. I was all ready for it and then they just ran out of the castle. #-o I'm what you'd call a Potter Fanboy, but come on, you have to look at things from a Director's point of view.

What do you do? Borrowers who can't wield.
I usually don't take money for lending, but if I did and someone couldn't wield it, too bad. They're an idiot for asking.

Hair styles for the new school year?
Everyone teenager seems to be having one of those "emo" styles. Personally, I think they look dreadful and just screams "Oh my, look at me, I look like another generic band member!". I've used this one for almost half a year now. [hide=Yes, it's Tory Belleci from Mythbusters][/hide]

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince [REVIEW]
[hide=Response]Having more than two memories would have seemed repetitive. Like I said, the movie was just too short for advanced development. The ring, Tom Riddle's house... it would have all taken too long. As for the ending, I've also commented on this but I'd like to address this again. Once again, it would have taken too long for development. Also, we'd have a Good VS Bad stereotypical battle which I really... really, hate. The absence of a prevailing "Good" presence (aside from the people on the lawn raising their wands to ward off The Mark) can be a good thing. There's been too much of it in the previous movies (Order of the Phoenix, anyone?) and so this was a necessary change. As for the horcrux thing, Dumbledore may have thought there were only two. When he heard that there may be seven, he would have thought of something strange which he had previously seen but dismissed, and it now occurs to him that it may be another horcrux. The next movie, the last one, will have much more development and should please some of the people who are at this point in time... in disagreement.[/hide]

Draco brought them as insurance. He knew he wouldn't be able to kill Dumbledore - not even an unarmed one.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince [REVIEW]
WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS [hide=Image][/hide] This is a review I wrote a few days ago and posted on Facebook. And then I thought, "Hey, why not post it on TIF?" I do realise it's quite short, but this was written merely an hour after I'd seen the film, and I'm not what you'd call an experienced reviewer; this is the first movie I've reviewed. The movie starts off differently than what is written in the book, though this is to be expected. A darker tone is set to the film, much like The Order of the Phoenix, but unlike that of previous movies, notably the first two, which had a much brighter tone. Subtle elements in the story are slightly changed, like when Draco Malfoy and his mother visit Borgin & Burkes. The order of events however is much the same as it is in the book. Progressing quickly through the first parts of the story, and leaving out many characters and development, Harry Potter quickly finds himself back at Hogwarts before the first half-hour of the film. No doubt the writers expected most of the people seeing the movie to have already read the book. This is a likely cause for such an absence of explanation. Keeping as closely to the story as possible in the such small time limit a movie has to work with is a huge task, but I believe it has been achieved as long as the audience has read the book. As the story progresses, the scenes get darker and greener. Laughter is not heard often from the main characters except for the few comical reliefs scattered throughout. These instances are rare and are quickly over, a movie trait which does not tend to attract young children; the series has become progressively aimed at a much more mature and informed audience. However, I did not feel this movie to be as tense and unpredictable to an audience which had not read the book as some of the other films in the series had been, which were aimed at children, while still keeping that dark and mystical feel throughout the entire movie. In fact, it was perhaps more dark and mystical than any of the other films. After the rooftop scene, the mood of the film was amazing. Far more emotional and united than I'd imagined it while reading the book. A sudden conglomeration of actors, supporting actors and somewhat insignificant characters which I'd forgotten about were all in the one scene, seemingly united by emotion and a realisation. Unfortunately, no tense action scene followed. However, I believe this was necessary to leave out as development would have taken too long, and the good/bad stereotypical fight scenes would have come into existence; something which director David Yates does not seem to want, and I support him in this. The relationship between Harry and Ginny would have seemed sudden to anyone who had not read the book. Although a forming relationship was hinted in the first parts of the movie, it was followed on quickly afterward, and would have seemed confusing to a person who had not read the book, as mixed emotions and intentions were implied between the characters. The growth of the relationship and the hastiness in which the other characters accepted the relationship was again far too quick and could have done with more development. There is also an evidently growing relationship between Hermione and Ron. It was this relationship, I believed, which had much more development and was considered to be a more interesting relationship to follow. Although a relationship between Ron and Hermione was not hinted to be nearly as strong in the book, it was extremely evident in the movie, no doubt to allow for slower development in the next movie and not to rush it like Harry and Ginny's relationship. Like the previous movie, The Half-Blood Prince had an enormous amount of visual effects, though once again not overdone. The series has progressively been using more and more visual effects, the increased budget no doubt a contributing factor, but also because, once again, the series has lately been oriented to more mature audiences who appreciate visual effects which make a film more elegant and realistic. All in all, the director and writers did a reasonably good job of compressing the story. The editors were superb in both sound and visual effects, and it was an enjoyable movie overall. Two thumbs up and four stars out of five.

Main reason why teenagers shouldn't get tattoos
Personally I'm not getting a tattoo because in my opinion no matter what the tattoo is and where it is, they look really bad and are a sort of "Oh look I have a tattoo so I must be cool, right?" stamp for guys, and a sort of "Stamp of [bleep]tiness" for girls, depending on the area of the body the tattoo is. I have no intention of ruining my skin with a design which I'm going to get sick of after a couple weeks. I find any sort of tattoo to be repulsing. Piercings (unless on the earlobes) and any other forms of bodily mutilation are just an absolute turn-off. No, I'm not religious. I just think they're disgusting. Also, what the hell is it with people wanting to get some sort of Asian character such as "fire" or "strength" tattooed onto them? Most Westerners can't read the language, and the symbol itself isn't representative of anything at a glance. It makes you look like trash. You're not cool or "different".
