  4. Personally, I like it the way it is. Items kept on death should be something you check before going to battle, and if you still go knowing the risks and end up losing an item, it's your own damn fault. If expensive items protected over everything, imagine the build-up of expensive items in the economy! No, we need some way to dispose of them, and this is one of those ways. Items lost on death shouldn't be predictable just buy looking at its price. The core value is what Jagex set it to be, and that is its alchemy price. I may sound old-fashioned in saying this, but there are too many changes. Let's at least keep this tradition.

  6. Often enough to say I frequently kill bosses.
  7. Was playing Halo and Battlefield 2, now reading a book. I might play some RuneScape later too after working on a couple assignments.

  13. They're out by 4 days, it was the 5th of November, when Guy [bleep] tried blowing up the English Parliament. Remember, remember....
  14. So what happened on November 9?
  15. Even with a guide, I still find quests fun. Although, all I use a guide for is to find out whether or not I'll need to expect a boss fight. Quests build a story for your character. Without a storyline to RuneScape, I wouldn't even play.

  17. You would only need ~2GB of RAM to use a computer comfortably. If you plan on getting Windows 7, remember that at this current stage it only supports up to 3GB of RAM on a 32-bit system. Hard drive space isn't really that much of an issue, but around 500GB would be a comfortable size to store all of your stuff. A good CPU is generally above 2.4GHz dual-core or above 2.0GHz quad core. Up until last week, my CPU was a 1.8GHz dual-core. I've upgraded now to 2.8GHz dual-core. Get a good graphics card; an Nvidia GeForce 8600 or 9600 are relatively cheap but perform extremely well (My GeForce 9600GT can play Battlefield 2 in excess of 100FPS, RuneScape only supports up to 50FPS). Like someone said above, integrated Intel cards are bad for gaming, and some motherboards don't have integrated graphics (my new motherboard which was required for the CPU upgrade doesn't have integrated graphics). It's also a good idea to use HDMI or DVI video cables. As for monitor, any modern monitor will do. Don't use a TV, the pixels are smaller and sitting close to one like a computer monitor can be harmful to your health. If you're going to get a laptop for college, get a Macbook Pro - battery life is around 5 hours (7 hours claim, but let's be realistic here).
  18. Well, it's been over a month (~45 years), but North Korea has successfully built a particle collider 86Km in diameter. I am yet to determine its use. Possibilities include cheap energy to the world, and antimatter-powered vehicle technology.
  19. Earthquake? Darn, should have bought some while they were in the negatives. Getting paid to buy items ftw? : Actually, looking at the size of those graph lines the prices would still be around ~1m.
  20. They put video recording on the new iPod Nanos but not on the new iPod Touches? o_O
  21. On school days, I go to bed between 12 and 2am, and wake up between 6:45 and 7:30am. I live a 10-min walk from school.
  22. Which sites are being blocked? Maybe someone is blocking sites through your router. I don't think resetting it will wipe the blocks.
