Honestly, they have a point, what if he dies and the child has to go back into care?

And if they still don't let him do it. I'd recommend Falcon punching them. Seriously, just picture this. Mazemeout: Mom, can I buy Call of Duty 3? Mazemeout's Mom: No, it's too violent and rated T. Mazemeout: But Moooooooom, I'm old enough to play it. Mazemeout's Mom: No buts. You can't get it and that's final. Mazemeout: You know what I have to say to that? Mazemeout's Mom: What? Mazemeout: Falcon puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunch! Actually I was thinking of buying 'em then saying to his parents if they find out and object. Falcon Punching'll just cause more problems.

Manga/Anime Discussion
I do. 2nd Gig has to be better than the 1st, though Solid State Society would have been better as a series, to be more in-depth, than as a film, but it would leaves us all feeling screwed for the 4 year (I believe?) gap between it and 2nd Gig. I prefer the 2nd Gig as it takes itself more seriously than the 1st. (Though unlike Innocence, it doesn't take itself too seriously.) (Though really, I like the continuos reference to "Catcher in the Rye" in 1st Gig) Oh and Star, you don't have to watch from episode one. Just the Complex, Individual and Dual episodes in order to understand the storyline, maybe Jungle Cruise if you want a bit about Batou's past. Most of the Stand Alone and Dividual episodes can been watched in any order, unless they are 2 part ones.

2 Questions pertaining to my IPod
1. [hide=Bands & Songs]The CDs I own are from: HammerFall, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Paramore, Avenged Sevenfold, DragonForce, Muse, Meat Loaf, Muse, Dropkick Murpheys, Killswitch Engage and Foo Fighters. (Some are downloaded, but most are not) Songs: Crimson Thunder, That was just your Life, Johnny I hardly knew ye, Can I play with Madness, Blinded in Chain, A Little Piece of Heaven, Revolution Deathsquad, Heroes of our Time, Number of the Beast, Supermassive Black Hole, Knights of Cydonia, Misery Business, Almost Easy, "Dark Wings, Dark Words", The Dragon Lies Bleeding, Renegade, Riders of the Storm, The Pretender, All Nightmare Long, Suicide and Redemption, The Day that never comes, Cyanide, Seize the Day, Bat Country, Operation Ground and Pound, The Warrior Inside. (In no particular order, all by the artists I have mentioned above (sorry for not labeling who, I just did it as it came to mind)[/hide] 2. You'd have to get rid of the protection, and I don't know how, and I'm not sure we're allowed to say how since normally it leads to piracy.

Great PS2 or PC Games?
Hmm, I've been meaning to try the Personas and Digital Devil Sagas. Can you say the differences between the Personas and Nocturne? (And Digital Devil Sagas if you've played them) (How far did you get in Nocturne anyway? I need to beat the Hell Biker and leveling is a [bleep].) Hmm, I forgot to add in some PC games. I reccomend Age of Empires II and III for the PC. II is definately the first choice to get.

Great PS2 or PC Games?
i thought 8 was way too complicated, whats with the junctioning and all that, once u get used to it the combat in 12 is actually really simple. from VII-XII, X-2 is the worst imo, VIII is ok, never played IX. but the rest VII, X and XII are some of the best rpgs ull ever play  Junctioning is a simple as changing weapons. The hardest part is stocking magic, but thats easy anyway, just don't use any magic (except White, maybe Green, and some Time) throughout the game, and thats simple as long as you level. X-2 is actually a decent game, and does tie up the part of X after the credits. Its not that I find XII's combat system complex, its just trying too hard to be different from Kingdom Hearts (which was actually pretty much button-mashing). If I want a challenging game on the PS3, I'll pick up Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call. Press Turns are one of the hardest systems to get to grips with, and you have to almost constantly be aware of your party's and opponent's weaknesses, as well as their strengths. Unlike typical RPGs where abusing the weakness just does more damage, you actually get more Press Turns for abusing them, lose them for missing (unlike just missing 1 turn of damage, you miss 2), as well as losing them for hitting them with something they resist some damage of, void, or in the worst case, absorb. I disagree on XII being one of the best RPGs you'll play, and really, VII is praised more than it should be, but its still a good game.

Twilight.
[hide=Quotes] I have the same beef with Meyer that you and I share with Paolini - they both published pieces of crap. Meyer changed things, yes--but in incompetent hands, change is just as bad as boring cliche and plagiarism. The only reason she changed the vampire myth is because she wanted to add a fantastical element to her love story. It serves no purpose at all other than that. None. Edward being a vampire doesn't get in the way of their relationship; in fact since he's now had every dangerous aspect of vampirism taken away he's nothing more than an immortal pretty boy. Which is what she wanted. She wasn't out to tell a vampire story but a romance. The vampires might as well not be there, but then she wouldn't have an excuse for the immortal pretty boy. That just screams BAD from even a basic level of fiction writing. You don't invent a character for the sole purpose of being a sex object (or, in more widely used terms, the DESIGNATED LOVE INTEREST), much less inject an entire race and with it the fantasy element. Just like you don't throw in a stock race of elves and shake them up with ludicrous tweaks to try and mask their true purpose as philosophical mouthpieces and producing the DESIGNATED LOVE INTEREST. See? The transition from Meyer to Paolini was rather smooth, don't you think? It's the same basic writing crime. I disagree with you that what Meyer did is just as bad as plagiarism. Making something your own isn't a crime and isn't morally bad. People, including you, may disagree with it and not like it and that's fine, but I fail to see how it's a morally bad thing to do. Edward being a vampire does in fact get in the way of their relationship. Being with someone is difficult if you cannot have an intimate physical relationship (I can tell you that from personal experience). That difficulty probably could have played a bigger role in the novel, but it was still there. I also think you blow up the whole "sex object" idea. Edward isn't just some sex object, there's a lot more to their relationship than that. Yes he could have been human and there could have been no vampires at all, but it would have made the book a lot less unique and interesting, and I think that's why so many people like it. I think that one of the reasons why it's as popular as it is is because it presents a NEW idea. If we just stuck to the same ideas, we'd never get any new ones or any originality. Yes the books are primarily about romance, but why can't you have romance and vampires? It's certainly not a CRIME, like you are suggesting. Don't get me wrong because there are plenty of things that I don't like in the books. I don't like how in the second book onward, Bella finds herself attracted to Jacob and he always brights up her day, but for some reason she can't explain, she HAS to be with Edward even though he's the one who hurt her. I can relate to Bella's undying pull towards Edward on some level, but I think it's taken a little bit to the extreme. Sometimes it feels like Bella doesn't even know why she loves Edward, which is probably where you get the idea of a "sex object," I also have a big problem with the "like two guys at once" thing (and I've always had a bit of a problem with it in "real life"). [/hide] Some things are better left unchanged. Really, Edward isn't much different from a human apart from the fact he is immortal. (though hopefully some garlic'll deal with him. Or a stake through the heart. Two things which we commonly associate with Vamprism.) There can be the balance of romance, and vampires. Hell, I wouldn't mind that a lovestory had a vampire, as long as said vampire wasn't some glorified human. What makes a lovestory unique, is not what races are involved, rather the characters, what hardships they face, and the overall story. I could create a lovestory about an Incubus, who actually attends school, and doesn't do the things that are traditionally associated with an Incubus. Really, I've just made this demon have the same traits as a human, and that pretty much looks like a human too. Oh, I guess my idea is unique too, does that make it interesting?

Funniest teachers and subs
Well, my French Teacher in 1st and 2nd year would go on about stuff like WWII and the time he killed a crocodile if someone asked him. Heh, 30mins with no work :. Oh and I've heard one of the Chemistry teachers set off the fire alarm with a makeshift flamethrower. Didn't witness it, but still, is probably true.
