  1. Probably thinks it's too long for himself. Though I had the same reaction as you.
  2. Yeah, I was pretty annoyed at the guy for agreeing with the comment. Admittedly, I do need to shave, though the light barely shows it. Just makes me think that some people I know are half insane.
  3. Would be better if I looked similar to that. One person said I looked like Jesus, another agreed. At least Ray said otherwise. (Even though he thought my hair was dyed in a earlier picture.)
  4. Yeah, I paid £300 for my PS3, along with Assassain's Creed (well, my second one, first one crapped out after 7 weeks.), and I feel it was worth it. Blu-ray films are better quality, and cost about the same as DvDs (Matrix trilogy - £30, RocknRolla - £20, Dark Knight + Batman Begins - £28), yeah, I could have bought a 360 and a Blu-ray player, that'd cost me the same as a PS3 (roughly) and I'd have to pay to play online. From the way I look at it, I got a pretty good deal out of it, and the exclusive games are enough to keep me going. Though Valkyria Chronicles 2 is supposedly on the PSP when Valkyria Chronicles was on the PS3, now that's a moronic move.
  5. I dont even know if I could think of 75 movies. Doesn't mean 75 movies. Coping the concept could mean altering the number, but keeping the fundamental idea, that of creating a list of movies which you enjoy, and think others should view. It could be 10, or 15 movies, as long as the idea remains the same.
  6. It's great if you carry an Amulet of Nature with you. [/failed attempt at RS humor on OT] All RS humour fails in OT, and pretty much everywhere else.
  7. Hey :? We just don't use that word over here... [hide=SPOILERS - Voldemort's Horcruxes]There are actually 8. Voldemort intended to create 7, but in failing to kill Harry, part of his soul was transferred into him. The full list is... 1) Voldemort's body 2) Tom Riddle's Diary 3-5) The Representative Items that once belonged to Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw 6) Nagina (is that right?) - Voldemort's pet snake 7) The Ring 8) Harry I suppose technically Voldemort isn't a Horcrux, but he there are 8 shards of his soul. Here is the wiki article, with all the information needed.[/hide] [hide=Spoilers]Sorry, but I want to correct you. He only made Horcruxes after significant kills, and a Horcrux is an item which contains part of your soul, so his body does not count. He believed Harry to be the next Dark Lord, the one who would defeat him, therefore, what better way to make your last (seventh) Horcrux, than by killing the one destined to kill you? Unfortunately, he only knew half of it, which lead to his downfall. Imagine a Horcrux as a way of storing part of your soul, incase you die, shard of the soul left in your body does therefore not count as a Horcrux.[/hide]
  8. [hide=Spoilers]Yes, but the thing is, Kessler had a kid with Trish, his wife. So the choice didn't come up, and he's changing the past, otherwise the same choice would be made. Time travel hurts my head.[/hide]
  9. [hide=Spoilers]Yeah, but it makes it even more confusing now that I have confirmation, since then it means Kessler knew the choice, even though this was him supposedly changing the future.[/hide]
  10. Mage Man stole mah kangaroo. And guns are illegal here.
  11. Wanted to update my msn picture, so I'll put it here for the hell of it. [hide=][/hide] Took it with my phone so it's pretty bad quality. EDIT: Index it please.
  12. It really is a mystery why people seem to think you're a good poster. Because he often puts in a lot of effort, and it shows. Though this is one of his worst, still pretty interesting though. I find it pretty insulting that people who actually do this can make so much money, yet aren't actually doing anything. Deathdrow, it isn't as easy as ignoring them, there will always be people who enjoy this stuff. Now it seems that the illusion of talent in musical ability is becoming more of an illusion. People can fake talent easier, while those who put in hard work are ignored, because they are not as perfect as this manufactured music, and let's face it. They never will be. SilverSword, I agree with you that music doesn't require skill to be enjoyable, yet people believe you now need a good level of skill to really enjoy it. This illusion of talent is what often stops someone just picking up a guitar and playing whatever the hell they feel like. Oh, and I'll agree with Spacheco that Eminem is good to listen to, however, I disagree with his choice there, personally I enjoy Mosh, 3am, Beautiful and some others that escape my mind more. We Made You was just annoying at times.
  13. inFAMOUS. It was £27.99 on Amazon. Overall, it's a pretty good game, if short. I only need to get the rest of the trophies, which involves doing all Stunts, collecting all 350 blast shards, completing the game on hard (next playthrough) among others which I can do on this evil playthrough. The game on easy took me about 14-18 hours, including all Dead Drops and side missions (well, the good ones for that playthrough). My main problem with the game, aside from length, is how annoying the jumping can be. I can aim to jump on something, yet Cole doesn't want to grab it. The sewers are also pretty annoying, though thankfully short, and getting power back to the Historic Distric with unlimited energy was fun. [hide=Spoilers]I had my problems with the ending, mainly the time travel part. I was not expecting Kessler to be Cole, though it kind of explains why Sasha said a lot of those things to Cole, well, aside from her being insane. Though I have no confirmed this yet, I am confused. It seems to be that Kessler knows Cole's choice when he kills Trish, I chose the evil action and tried to save her, only it was someone else. I feel that when I choose the good action, Trish will still plummet to her death, rather than be with the Doctors. This means Kessler has prior knowledge to Cole's choice, yet, in the Kessler's future, Trish is his wife, and he chose to run with her and their child from this destructive force. Okay, so Kessler is preparing Cole to make the different choice, in order to do that, he needs to kill Trish, and turn Cole into a killer, willing to sacrifice anything for the greater good. However, I look forward to a second game, where we face off against this meanace.[/hide] I'd reccomend this to anyone with a PS3, it is a good exclusive, and can be relied upon for multiple runthroughs, if you want to experience the other side. However, I am disappointed that you have to be completely evil, or completely good to be the best player, since you need certain ranks to use some of the upgrades, and changing from Hero to Infamous would be a chore, because most of the karamic choices happen during the main storyline. Though actually being able to choose the path of being loved, or feared, is a refreshing change to the normal Superhero games, you think more of what you would do in the situation, rather than being forced into doing the right thing. Want to kill some random bystanders? Go ahead. Or would you rather heal the injured ones? The choice is yours.
  14. Ukrainian isn't a race, genius. He's not entirely wrong however. There's differences between each country, while race is not the right word, you can understand what he means.
  15. I'll tell you them. [hide=Spoilers]1) Riddle's Diary 2) His Snake 3) Slytherin's Locket/Amulet 4) Hufflepuff's cup 5) Ravenclaw's Diadem 6) The Ring belonging to his Uncle 7) Harry himself was a horcrux, part of Voldemort's Soul was attached to Harry's Soul when Voldemort tried to kill him, this was destroyed when harry "died".[/hide] EDIT: Oh, and the reasoning behind there being 7 of them is that 7 is believed to be the most powerful magic number.
  16. I just re-read the book 2 months ago and I can assure you dumbledore was killed on the astronomy tower. In the book he is shot by the spell, flies off the tower and "out of sight." At least put a dang spoiler alert. I haven't read the book yet. :-# The book has been out how long now? I think it's status as a spoiler is long dead, considering the series is now finished.
  17. 1) Care to provide a source for this statement? 2) Had you responded to them, and not asked multiple times, then it would be clear that you had not ignored them. And can you quick quoting every damn message, especially when it's right above your damn post?
  18. Your post itself was spam. Really, this topic has gone somewhat bad, so I'll throw in some input on things. Perfetc, you have been given reasons multiple times, yet you continue to ignore, and have the nerve to then ask for reasons why drinking is a good thing. So, I'll state what I believe to be the main one, and put in some personal input. The main reason, I believe, is that of many things. Simply, it is a social activity. Whether you are going to a party, or going down the local pub with some mates. Alcohol can help you relax, and while too much of it can make you do embarrasing things, those who drink responsibly vastly outnumber those who do not. However, I will agree that those who do go overboard on drinking are seen more often, via the media and such, however, that's because that is what the programme is aimed to show, not because it is a factual representation of drinking. Infact, amongst younger ages here, drinking is becoming more of a problem, irresponsible teens, who are underage, are drinking, and getting drunk. Infact, I was viewed as strange by someone I know simply because I do not drink. Also, it's been brought up before, "Why 21?" Some 21 year olds are proven them as irresponsible as younger people when it comes to drinking. Infact, it seems to be in the prime age group for problems arising from a night out. I've seen someone get a bottle thrown at them, it's not a good sight, if I had to guess the ages, they appeared to be in the 20-21 age range, and that's here in Scotland where the age is 18. So, why do we have these problems? Simple. Lack of education. Through school, we were likely taught that alcohol was this evil substance that did all these bad things. Infact, I do not remember once being told the positive side of alcohol consumption. It's all fear tactics, hoping that we will be responsible. However, when we do get to consume alcohol, we think "Hey, this isn't as bad as they said. I'll keep drinking." Unfortunately, that seems to be the problem. We once had a police officer come into the school to educate us about alcohol. He asked a valid question "Why do people drink [cheap brand name]?" The reply? "It's cheap and gets you hammered." This is a terrible attitude to have. Of course, we were taught about the dangers of over consumption then, however, he did not try to stop us drinking, rather, tried to get us to drink responsibly. Not demonizing alcohol as this bad thing, but rather as something that has both the positive and negative sides. This was to a bunch of 16/17 year olds. (Some may have been 15, and one I know was definately 18, but it's the way the school system is). This is probably the best I can think of at this moment. And may I ask, who was this Aussie you were referring to? Surely if you wanted a reply from them, it would be best to make the effort to find the person, and pm them your thoughts.
  19. We have 3 leaders. Doom, blackdawn (who is now to be known as Lord Periwinkle) and myself. I wouldn't call the ZSG required reading however, I think we brought up some, rather incorrect, points in it. That being said, calling them the most likely type of zombie is outrageous. With the definition of zombie being so varied now, with many types, I now believe that the Rage virus type zombies are the most realistic, rather than the Romero zombies.
  20. Silly Britons, calling fries chips :shame: BTW, I think MickeyD's chicken nuggets are pretty much the worst kind of fast food you can get. (health-wise, i mean.) Silly Americans. Raping our language for their own, then acting high and mighty when someone uses proper English.
  21. No, what we need to remember is that you should be shot on sight.
  22. The story was coherent though. Really, do you expect a brilliant plot, but little action because of said plot from a Transformers movie? It's a basic plot, and it works.
  23. Did you drink vodka straight? Cause that's the only time it tastes crap. There's telling the truth, then there is being a jackass, you can tell the truth without insulting anyone. There is no problem with drinking responsibly every weekend, it does no real damage, unless people go overboard.
  24. Sorry, but thinking it tastes like crap is [cabbage]. There are a lot of different alcoholic drinks out there, each have different tastes, so unless you have tried every one, then don't come here with [cabbage] claims. Oh, and I drink less than you, because I have yet to find one I actually enjoy. I don't plan on drinking, however, I am not going to call everyone who drinks idiots. The reason I was so rude to you? People in my family drink, on occasion, they are willing putting it into their bodies, and you claim they are idiots. I am not some [bleep]in' scumbag chav. [wagon].
