  1. Also Germany's terms of surrender (or loss? Unimportant) after the first world war. That would give him something to focus his nationalistic policy on. That, though, is probably the best way to teach that particular area of history. Yet, they do not do it that way. Honestly, all I gathered from school is the Nazi = Evil. Us = Good.

Sneak in in the night and stack all the tables in the corridors. Then stack chairs infront of all doors.

Yes, every game will be terrible to someone. If we all had the same tastes, it'd be boring. But damn, they're a good way to pass time.
  4. Kiriyama replied to a post in a topic in Off-Topic
Jesus Nadril, I could say the same about you, simply because I do not like the games you play. Grow the [bleep] up.

Haha yeah. By the time we got in 4th, 5th and 6th I noticed a real change in some people. Sure, they were still idiots at times (no other words, they weren't that bad), but hell, they were a lot more serious. Aside from a few exceptions who still skipped class often. I was even more surprised at the amount of people who stayed on for 5th and 6th Year, and seeing how they were, I expected them to leave, but a lot stayed on. That being said, the people I mostly spoke to were only 14, but I had known them since they came into the school, and well, they're generally alright people. There aren't many stereotypical neds at my school, and even still, I was helping out in one of the 3rd Year classes for Maths, to be honest, they worked pretty hard, they were a bit disruptive, but damn, they could work. So honestly, my school isn't that bad. Aside from the idiots who threw water balloons as a senior "prank". (If anyone wants me to edit in the full story, I'll find what I posted before.)

I'm not defending the game. Why don't you just shut the [bleep] up anyway, accept that people have different tastes [bleep]er.
  7. I wouldn't care if Tupac was alive or dead. He is one of the most original rappers of this era in rap.

Heh, I rarely see any neds around here (pretty much the Scottish equal to a chav). And honestly, they're all a bunch of [wagon]. To fit in here, you pretty much need to dress expensive, and drink. I do neither. Face it, I'm pretty much an outsider, I like metal, I watch/read and enjoy anime and manga, I'm a gamer, and hell, I refuse to drink and spend £50+ on an item of clothing.

Heh, well its been kind of hard to obtain the games now, otherwise I would have tried the earlier ones. Back when they remade the older ones to put on the PS1, I was still young then, and couldn't afford them. Now that I can, I haven't got around to it XD. And yes Nadril, I did enjoy HAZE. I don't give a [bleep] what other people think of the games I play. For one, since it was more ignored, it had a better online, and wasn't full of American [bleep]ing kids with their damned voices raping my ears. [hide=PS3 games]Oblivion GOTY, LBP, CoD4, GH III, GH:WT, Killzone 2, Mirror's Edge, Assassain's Creed, X-Men Origins, Fallout 3, GTA IV, Mirror's Edge, Heavenly Sword, Def Jam ICON, MGS4 and Pure. Of course, I have borrowed some off my mate, Motorstorm, Dynasty Warriors 6 and The Orange Box.[/hide] Why don't you [bleep]ing realise its not the only [bleep]ing game I have. Unlike other games in the FPS genre now, it had a story, and if I could be [bleep]ing bothered, I would add in my list of PS2 games. Infact, I still find games such as Super Mario 64 enjoyable. Face it, we all have different [bleep]ing tastes. I rarely pay attention to damn reviews as it doesn't say anything about what I would enjoy. Don't [bleep]ing judge me based on one game in my collection. Face it, I'm only [bleep]ing 17, so I've not been around for a lot of the classics, and its [bleep]ing better than being a media tool and judging games based upon what they say. I've played a lot of the games that were considered great at their time. I did enjoy them, and even then, it wasn't because I read reviews and [cabbage]. I take risks when it comes to purchasing. The majority of my CDs? I bought them upon impulse, and hell, I like them. Oh, and I also enjoyed FFX-2, care to judge me on that?
  10. You said just chilling, that pretty much killed it. I have a friend that says "So!" every time a conversation comes to a mild stop, and it completely kills it. I don't think she realizes. :P i hate girls who say "sooo...." and expect the male to carry on the entire conversation. basically my response is "so, what?" Haha that reminds me of awhile back. Pretty funny that it happens actually. But now, I guess talking to her seems more natural since I know her better now.

May I remind you my services are still on offer to beat some respect into him? Anyway, yeah, it sounds like your brother needs to be set straight before it lands him a night in the cells.

I agree with that. It was good, but way too overrated if you ask me. There were much better Final Fantasy's, such as the fifth one. Yeah, but it was the only realistic FPS that I can recall playing. When I think of shooters anything else that comes to mind usually consists of games like Quake, Doom, Half-Life, pretty much any game with a weird bestiary. I liked CoD because, when I think of FPS and the "you're really there experience" it's important to me that things are as realistic as possible. When it comes to weird monsters, I'd much rather hack and slash them with a sword than use a rifle - ya know to keep things more fantasy oriented. Regarding FF. Personally, I've played VII - X and XII. Out of them, I'll disregard IX as I played little of it (damn discs), I'd say VIII was the best. mainly from the character development point of view (Squall really changes through it). Honestly, I thought HAZE was a pretty good FPS. Okay, maybe the dialog was pretty weak, but it had a good story, without being too futuristic (take out Nectar, and its pretty much set in a time similar to ours), and unlike CoD, it had a story behind it, and made you question which was right and wrong. Unlike CoD which just says "You're good, they're evil", HAZE, you start out thinking you are on the right side, then that all changes once you get the full story. However, neither side is fully good or evil.

Kids these days have no respect for their elders :( He did ask, pretty ballsy reply too. I give credit to the kid, for making me laugh.
  14. Well, its a teacher, so I doubt they had high thoughts of her. She could appear to be on their side, no homework etc... Then one day, suddenly start doing what she had done then.
  15. Well, fearmongering was one tactic, but to say it was how they came to power is absurd. To be honest, I gave up on history cause it is well too biased. "History is written by the winners."

If you think its that good, then get it damn right. Its VII, not 7. And even then, it is far from the best, too overrated. Its only that highly regarded because it was the first fully 3D Final Fantasy. Zierro, there is plenty of FPS out there that have humans are enemies, besides, most CoD themes are overdone, I mean, it focuses mainly on the World Wars, boring. Aside from that, it barely has any story to it.
  17. In difficulty, Slayer has the higher risk. RuneCrafting is almost safe, any risk is added by the way you choose to do so. Overall, neither is harder, both require you to pay attention, Slayer has the risk factor from some monsters, RuneCrafting has it from Revs. Runecrafting likely takes more time, yet is fairly monotonus. Slayer is perhaps quicker, and has varience, and the element of danger.

Realistic my arse. They can use Desert Eagles man. The recoil on those is huge...
  19. The reason they can't and don't supply evidence for RWT, has been said before. They do not wish to show how they were actually caught, and give them ideas on how to avoid it in future. And please, if you believe the T&C is faulty, then please, message Jagex about it to make sure.
  20. Tried. I had a bad rep with the local police back then because of the friends I chose, they weren't exactly cooperative. But, what can you do, you report them, they bash you more. If you have been lying to cops constants and such, then they have reason to not believe you. However, they should be unable to judge you by your friends. Sounds like a pretty [bleep]ing bent cop to me.
  21. They had reason to believe he had broken the rules, and as such, has breached the terms to which he agreed. If you want to argue about the T&C, then I suggest you take up this part. I'm sure they'll be able to answer in a more satisfactory form to you. However, I dare say that it won't help much.

Wait... People actually respect 99 cooking? Ray, it clearly has to do with cooking because he needs to feel the big man. You know, what you try to feel like, but fail miserably at.
  23. Dunno about English laws, but accroding to the Finnish laws a member account banned for no reason would be a product that broke before expected. Jagex would be required to prove that the product was broken by the user or fix the broken product for free or refund the membership money. If you were a member and you think you have been banned for no reason, you should contact the consumer protection authorities. Jagex have it covered quite clearly in their terms and conditions, which you agree to. In it, it states that your account is property of Jagex limited. If they feel you have broken rules, you have agreed that you are NOT entitled to a refund. Seriously, people need to quit being so stupid. Jagex have covered their [wagon] well. And yes, I have gone through it multiple times. I was bored so ended up trying to see if there were and obvious loopholes for reasons I have forgotten.
  24. Honestly, quite a few were not that good. Admittedly, the first one I heard was "The Eminem Show", however, I've heard a few and he seems to have gone back to being similar as he was before that. Admittedly, I don't listen to a lot of Rap, Eminem is great, however I certainly place Tupac above him.
