  1. "Note Just for a change, we're allowing players to get cornucopias after the event has finished. If you've missed out on getting one from the turkeys, you might be interested to know that certain birds may drop them after the event has ended." Taken from the KB. You don't get the emote however. Tip.It's guides all mention you can obtain it as a drop from birds too.
  2. Somehow, I don't think that haircut suits you.
  3. They are still not your [bleep]ing streets. You do not personally own them. Oh and nice insult directed towards Nick, he's probably smarter than you anyway, cause you know, his posts don't invite flames (that I've seen).
  4. +4 to slash attack makes too little a difference to justify its price. I mean it increases your cahnce of hitting with, for example, a whip by how much? Please, give me numbers on EXP rates per hour with and without. I'd like to see some good, solid proof.
  5. ... Look, I just used a number that Wachtwood supplied for my example okay? And Blood, its all a matter of probability. You cannot say he will likely aquire one. Its like putting all the items a Black Dragon can possibly drop into a sack. You put them in according to their drop rate. So say the Visage is the rarest, and you put it in amongst all the other drops at the ratio provided by the Visage, so coins may be 2000:6000 chance etc... Each time you take a piece of paper with the name of the item drop, you then put it back to be drawn again. You always have the same chance of pulling something out. Each Dragon is independant of others you have killed. They each have their own sack with drops basically. So you pull out the drop of the Dragon's sack and then, said sack is discarded. I've tried to explain probability simply for those who are saying he will get one, or he has a good chance at one.

Meh, I just stopped thinking about it. To be honest, I'm not interested in a lot of sport, plus out of the people I know, I'm probably the one with the most amount of money to use. So theres not a lot for me to really do around here. Mainly, I just find a game to play and do it, time goes by without realising. Infact, about 2 hours of doing nothing have passed while waiting for the Valkyria Chronicles demo to download.
  7. No. You cannot say he will get one. Assuming it is a 1:6000 chance. His chance of getting one does not increase with each kill, its remains 1:6000 per drop.
  8. Wealth. For its price, the Berserker Ring does not make a good enough difference. For an extra 300k or so, you could buy a whip.

Hummus, instead of you saying that here, I'll give you the advice a friend gave me, though changed slightly to how I'd say it. Go out and make the [bleep]ing change, if life is boring, then you have to bloody change it instead of complaining about it here.

7/10 Interesting combonation. 2 Leftover slices of the Pinapple Pizza from last night (cold, I don't like heating them up tbh).
  11. I wouldn't even consider him a friend. To be honest with you, you should have listened to your cousin a few weeks back. You're too kind, and he's taking advantage of it. So tell him bluntly, and see how he reacts. Though this should really be in the relationship advice sticky (just saying).
  12. S'all luck. You could get 0, you could get 10. Don't go camping expecting to get a drop. That is what makes it harder and more disappointing. Just count on the hides for income. At the current mid price, the hides would fetch you 41,254,920GP. Better than a visage and it is 100% chance. I mean, I went to them while bored, and got one in like... 12 kills or something, while other people have gone thousands without.
  13. You get the Meal Packs at the Void Knight store. However, generally if you can't win in 2-5minute, you're buggered.
  14. Hmm, perhaps. I suppose, in a way, they need to prepare to make the sacrifice, which is why the Dream Zanarkand still exsisted due to the Fayth. The first Grand Summoner and Final Aeon were from Zanarkand, we know that much. Now, Zanarkand has been destroyed, but the Fayth keep its spirit alive knowing they may need another Final Aeon from Zanarkand. Perhaps, they all come from Zanarkand, we do not know, however, someone needs to be there to be sacrificed, so, in dreaming the person for the Final Aeon, then telling them, they think "Well, I'm not real, might aswell do it.", so it was an insurance policy for the Fayth/Yevon (Yevon keeping the Fayth dreaming). A Summoner from Zanarkand created Sin, so perhaps the Final Aeon needed to be from Zanarkand. Of course, there needed to be a way for the Summoner to be able to make the sacrifice. Hmm... This starting to sound a bit like the Matrix to anyone else?
  15. Not really. They want to be viewed as a company that is for families, I think. While there is no restriction on who can buy PA labeled CDs, as it could pretty much equate to PG really. While they can sell higher age rated games as there is the restriction. And I doubt it loses them a lot of profit. Though if it were really Greed Day, we'd be seeing them selling out and censoring their lyrics.
  16. A lot of religous nuts would accept it as fact, and well, who knows what would happen? I suppose your example sounds close to Hitler's view on Jews. To put it simply, the Bible can say a lot of things, and influence a lot of people. Personally, I think it has some lessons we should take from it, but I don't believe we should take it serious. In my eyes, it is a piece of fiction, created for explanation in the time we needed it, we have since become more knowledgable, and can regard it as fiction. Yet it does teach some good lessons and morals.
  17. So basically, the equivalent of starting a thread saying "Do you think all people deserve basic human rights, answer Yes or No, then changing the original post to "Do you think all Muslims should be exterminated" once everyone has posted? Take out the 'non-', but yeah. Today we had a discussion on homosexual marriage, and basically the blacks in the room were spear-heading the attack against gay marriage. Its funny but sad to hear that the blacks think racial segeration that happened to them pre-60s is discrimination but bashing on homosexuals is not. In the name of the Bible. That honestly made me laugh. I'd have thought that the blacks would be most open to this idea, but I guess some are not. Pretty funny that if someone is racist everyone basically attacks them, yet judging on sexual preferences is different?

Could have got lost in the mail. Next time when sending the money, send it via recorded delivery. That way you know when it arrives. Sometimes it takes a rogue postal worker to steal it, or it can simply get lost in the mail. As a company, Jagex knows how damaging it would be to steal money from customers, and since the fee would go to the billing department, they deal with money coming in almost daily. I can not say whether the postal service, or a Jagex employee is at fault. Give it another week, then consider contacting your postal service.

Meh, maybe I jumped the gun a little too. Must have read "I just hate it when people act like it makes them better- i see proof of this almost every day like last week when someone called me a noob for not being able to afford d legs" a bit too much and looked into it too much. But, generally when people who say something similar then start generalising and judge the majority on the minority, I've heard abuse thrown at both high and low levels, and I've taken the neutral stance in judging people not on their levels, but who they are as a person. I've had people on a similar level to me act like real morons, while I've enjoyed conversations with those who are lower level, because of how differently they act. I tend not to judge on age either. I've spoken to people younger, such as Mini193, and enjoyed doing so, and the fact we could have a mature conversation. While I've had people claiming to be older making a real arse of themself. I can't remember what some of these people done, all I know is that they done something stupid, or their general attitude was appalling.
  20. Perhaps. But perhaps their definition is accepted by society, and one person cannot change that. Besides, we have a man who was thought to be the real vampire. Vlad Tepes, or if you prefer "Vlad the Impaler". http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Vampire Definition of Vampire for ya too.

Today (Friday), I had my Higher French Exam. Well, here's to the hope I didn't fail. Though I'm sure I was under the required 150-180 Words for the Directed writing. Ahwell, I got all the points in, can't be helped. Considering I totally didn't study for this. 2 Exams in 2 days sucks. Thursday I had Higher Maths, bombed on Paper 2 . Only one left. Intermediate 2 Geography on the 27th. Piss easy. So aside from that, I pretty much played GTA IV with dragon312 (forum name).
  22. Meh, people are always going to compare them as they are "popular" teen fiction. I haven't read Twilight, and I don't intend to, normally, I don't listen to reviews, I base it upon whether it seems interesting to me (hence most of my CDs and some games), but in this case, I've read some reviews, and the negative ones seem to paint a better picture. Sorry, but Twilight is a romance novel for young teenage girls, its not designed to appeal to me. But I'm going to agree with N0M on the whole raping of vampires. If she has done her research on them, then the 30 minutes I did is probably giving me the same information. She took one element of folklore, and made the vampires focus on that, namely that a sign of a vampire was dead cattle. However, in folklore, they were disgusting, bloated (after feeding) creatures, she's totally raped that part and left it to die. She didn't do vampires, she made her own creature that feeds on animal blood. This is like comparing Harry Potter to LoTR, despite how much (in my view) that Deathly Hallows tried to be LoTR, it failed in the end. The Harry Potter series was good, however, I felt a little let down with the last book. Too much time spent in the forests moving about, thinking over how pointless their items left by Dumbledore were etc... and how they could possibly help. So to put it across, they are both teen fiction, though are completely different genres. JK done a rather good series of fantasy books, and, they remained fairly good throughout the series. Meyer has created a romance story for 13 year old girls who still dream of their perfect man as the metaphorical "White Knight". From what I have heard, Meyer has barely created characters, and used a basis in reality for her world. JK has made her own world outside of ours, I mean it has magic, and uses mythology, and some folklore accurately.

I understood you, I addressed the point of hard work too, though admittedly, I went off on a tangent since you were [bleep]ing about high levels.

6/10. Sounds good, but I just don't like Pepperoni that much. Pinapple pizza.
