  1. Rule 7 and 9 were updated. The updates were removed from the list though. :?:
  2. Puer essence. Worst. Update. Ever. Edit: Is downdate a word?
  3. Is there some sort of ratio or formula to determine run regain rate with agility levels? Or is there some sort of guide to this somewhere?
  4. Which means because it is built into the AntiVirus that trying to stop blocking the advert automatically would result in the ultimate destruction of the computer and the loss of a person's stuff that they paid good money to have in the first place. No sane person will do that. Shame on Jagex (as well as the advert providers) for trying to hurt all the computer newbies. :shame: ~Mr. Devnull It is possible to disable that function.
  5. Most companies also give a pay per impression. A little money just for viewing the ad. I'm not sure but I think the ad may have some way of knowing wether the ad is being played. Maybe, but why else would Jagex want you to look at it? Unless they were payed(or forced) to make this rule.
  6. So if I don't do this, I pretty much lose all my stuff? If I do, will I be able to deposit on the first page still? Could someone lay this all down, cut and dry for me?
  7. Good thing you didn't indent man, or this never woulda made it past my two paragraph filter. Nice read though.
  8. Alright thanks guys, my friend probably got mixed up since he couldn't deposit anything.(like glasscube said)
  9. Ofcourse they don't. They only deny liability(I suggest you look up the meaning of the word) in the event of such an occurence. You've probably been to places(like a ski resort or something) where they require you to sign medical release forms. This is like that, but for your pc. The ski resort(just an example) doesn't have a right to harm you, but if harm should befall you due to their negligence, they are not responsible. No, that's why I clear my cookies quite often. What are they gonna do with it? Comeon, the likelihood of that happening is roughly the same as RS being infected and every time you play runescape you get infected. Comeon, they major companies have tougher servers than thatm, and the time it takes to effectively initiate such a virus attack would be enough time for the company to take care of it. Plus, if you have a firewall(and I'm sure you do) the program could not initiate if you do not give it permission. I don't really think many people are reading this, but if they are, I should say the same to you. By the way, however this ends, you should know I don't take arguments like this personally, atleast not outside this thread.
  10. You seem to have a great misunderstanding of what that quote of yours is saying. Here's what stuck out to me. What that's saing is that Jagex is not responsible for damages caused by their negligence(including loss of data and economic losses). You agreed to this when you started playing runescape. Furthermore, I stand by my argument that any tracking cookies implanted on your computer by these ads are relatively harmless.
  11. My favorite deal is coal for 20gp each :D

    AFK?

It's not. Just not recommended. acually it is illegal there is just now way that they would know if ur there It's illegal, but we all pretty much have done it. Haven't you guys ever been doing somehting important and ran to the bathroom while your account was still going lol No, but I sneezed all over my hands and had to go get a tissue. Would you believe it? I got frogged! Furthermore, randoms are a nice way of knowing if you're there.
  13. I'm f2p, my best way is just finding a lowish level thing that you can hit high on using defensive style. I use white knights, they don't pose a threat to me dieing, I can hit fairly high, and they have a lot of hp.
  14. My friend claims he cannot remove stuff because he can't withdraw the member's only items from his bank. He is kind of noobish, so should I assume he's mistaking?
  15. why not fishing and cooking? I found fly fishing to be extremely fast xp. And if you cut and cook your fish, you can sell them to the gen store at lumby for a small profit. Or just drop them. After you get really high, you could move up to lobs.
  16. I wanted to figure it out. My friend says he can't use his bank because he was members once, and now he can't withdraw that stuff. Jagex isn't really informative on this matter. So I want to find out, what REALLY happens to the stuff in your bank when you quit members? Can you drop it? What if you have too much space of member's stuff? Can you still deposit f2p stuff?
  17. In an idealistic sense, true. But in a legal sense, they can require the viewing of ads to play the game. What you're saying is almost like(best analogy I can think of) a stunt man signing a contract to perform a life threatening stunt, then not doing it and demanding the money because it's "his body". The stuntman was the one who agreed to this in the first place. You are the one who is blind. Not all adverts have these things. The majority don't. Unless you're going to... less reputable sites. In conclusion: I'm not saying I like ads, I don't, but it is Jagex's right to require such things if they so desire. It is our right not to play the game if we don't like them. Or you can break the rules and block the ads, essentially ripping off Jagex and breaking the law. read: I think I gave you enough personal insults so that you won't come back. Just incase you do come back and counter my arguments, I'm making it clear that I am the actual winner here. read:
  18. D V Devnull: A. Jagex saying they are not liable for damages means that even if they do cause damages, they can not be blamed, or attacked for retribution. It is not saying they WON'T cause damages. B. They're not going to cause harm. Jagex has a more or less legitamite ad company. You'll get tracking cookies at the worst. C. In the case of kids under 13, they're already breaking a rule(a very serious one). As for those over 13 whose parents say they can't unblock RS ads, yes, they shouldn't play. If they are unable to abide by the rules, they should not play. It should be noted that the amount of f2pers OVER 13 and under 18 whose parents fully comprehend adverts and their blocks yet have not quite enough understanding to let the kids unblock on runescape.com is very low. Jagex has every legal right to require viewing of ads.(you don't actually have to view them, you just have to not use an ad blocker.
  19. You make like the 4th person to mis-spell my name on just Tip.It Forums alone... How would you like it if people called you "n4_osurnomae"??? :? ...Doesn't feel very nice, does it? :( Lesson in short: Don't mis-spell my name!!! :x ~Mr. Devnull Lol, people, you just have to copy and paste the name that's above his avvy... -.- Well, I wasn't planning to reply to him at first so I didn't have his name down. Furthermore, no username4 is a somewhat easy name to remember. D V Devnulll is quite confusing(atleast I thought so). I apologise and I should remember your name in the future.atleast I got all the letters right, just in the wrong order. That's quite a generalization. This is typical of noobs. Noobs are just more concentrated in f2p. To say that anyone who doesn't pay 5 dollars a month is stupid, impatient and a general jerk, is rather, well, stupid.
  20. You seriously need to pay more attention in math class. If you're not taking any, you really need to. Money was already squared. Since money is the root of all evil, or sqaure root of evil, money^2 = evil. Since women = money^2, women = evil. Or problems, or whatever. On-topic(aka, why this post won't be deleted): The "worst case scenario" here is the n00bs who reported you won't get banned. D v endvull, or whatever, is sadly mistaking in the thought that people, on rare occasions, get auto banned for a false report.
  21. He doesn't. His point is that some people are foreigners and don't know good english grammer. No, his point is that some people know english, but give no attention to grammar. He speaks better than many people whose first language is english. Case in point(or whatever you say) Btw, I'm tired of these "get a life" topics. This one was well meaning though. I know that most everyone who plays runescape has more or less, "a life". Furthermore, people bragging about their "hot gf" and "great reputation" ,or whatever it may be, wouldn't seem like the people who would make such posts. If you really have all this, why are you lurking the forums all day just begging for a chance to rub it in someone's face? Also, how "hot" your gf(or bf if you're girl) is is not a measure of what kind of "life you have.
  22. You can't click on it.... As far as I can figure, maybe the event is called "1970" :XD:
