  1. Well I think the render overall could be blended a little better, but it's not too bad. The feel is nice. And now I know Pas a pas is french for Step by step but I dunno what it's from to be honest lol.
  2. In my opinion, they're all rather bad. The 3d renders used in the bg's, did you make them yourself or are they brushes? If so, can't say much but make your own mate, you can achieve a lot more that way. Not to mention the composure of all these is rather grotesque in nature and just seem like a load of "jumbo," to me. Try looking at some more tutorials.
  3. Actually this took quite a bit longer then i thought it would, primarily because I hit a spot where I was like.... "Uhh what to do next?" and had to experiment a few times to get it right.
  4. Another black and white sig, I love fight club, and once again am happy with this sig. Simple, yet effective if ya ask me.
  5. I've adapted to a more "skinnier" style, something that I think is a very nice touch to the sig. Doesn't leave you to mess up and give to much empty space, but you must be careful not to crowd up the sig. Thanks mate!
  6. Did this piece last night, I'm rather happy with it, especially since I pulled it off in just a greyscaled manner. <3 to myself :-P
  7. Oh well since it's been brought up again I might as well say something on it. How is tracing your own drawing cheating again? I mean, you drew it, you're the original author of it. So is there anything wrong with making it into a pixel form? No. It's still your work, it's still pixeling, it still consists of using the line tool. Hmm... Think about it.
  8. Whoops, I fixeded that problem (and yes fixeded is in my vocabulary)
  9. Axe and I are going to be collabing on a comic, this is just the like "intro" image I'd say. Axe gave me a very good rough to work from and I must say we're happy with the results. Only thing now is to cel-shade it, but if that looks bad well then it'll just be solid coloring :)
  10. Hey Terley, give 1-4 to Quer_Skulll, I don't have time plus when I did give it a try, well lets say it wasn't pretty lol, I gotta practice some more before I get back into this.
  11. Out of all honestly guys there isn't really a "theme" for these things it's whatever the artist feels is best to do. Now Terley and everyone else this may sound mean, but Terley I think you should be able to reserve the right to not accept someone's squares if they blatantly didn't take time on them.

  14. Hey Ter, I don't have time this week but I'm sure this will be going on for a little bit, so give me 1,2,3, and 4. If I still don't have time I'll let you know so you can put them back out there for someone else to grab, but I'm sure I will have time.
  15. read the whole thread #-o I read the whole thread, it's not my fault that people talk in circles and don't actually explain it.
  16. Tracing? You don't learn much from tracing except well, nothing. You're just going over the same thing, coloring it in and calling it your own.
  17. UPDATE I took Cad's CnC and saturated the characters a bit by putting them on top, setting to Color Burn, then take a 210px Hard Round Brush Eraser on 30% Opacity and Erasing a clicking 2 or 3 times on each sprite just to tone down the color a bit. Thanks Cad for the suggestion, I do like this one a lot more now. Stay tuned for a Tutorial on how to do a sig like this!
  18. UPDATE A sig that Axeraider and I will be using, I used sprites and a Bg from a stock sprite archive, and then maniped it from there.
  19. This was made for a friend and I'm very happy with it.
  20. Lol you just even confused me Nad, do this, Create New Layer > Go to Image > Apply Image > Filters > Sharpen > Click Sharpen
  21. I have one bit of "beef" mate lol, the full pose picture, his nose looks very weird, like almost flat/squished.
  22. If you're using Photoshop, go to Save for Web, and use the GIF option, quality not as amazing as PNG but not as horrible as JPEG, just perfect for forum size. As for the signature itself, it's interesting and intriguing but not amazingly eye catching which is pretty nice after staring at some violent colors for a while. I do like it, but the background is rather unintriguing. But as I said, good job, I do like this. Maybe next time try spicing up the bg and using some nice subtle colors.
  23. What is the point of even giving you any CnC? Honestly, your last post you went emo and pulled an "OMG EVERYONE HATES MY WORK!" well maybe it's because as you said, you don't care. Start caring and you will see your work improve. Don't turn a deaf ear to everyone that has something bad to say about your work. Look, I would say I'm a fairly decent artist but there are still quite a few people that dislike some of my work, and point out what they don't like, so I concentrate on what's good with it, make sure I'm consistant with the good parts and improve on the parts that they said need work. It's the only way to get better, you can't expect us to all bend over and kiss your wagon now. As for this piece, gradient background, then marquee tool vertically and horizantally using a gradient, not impressive. Hurts the eyes, nothing really going on, and it's just over all *snooze*. Try looking at some tutorials, devArt is a good place to look, there are many other forums that have good ones as well. Now when you use a tutorial, don't follow it exactly. Deviate from it as much as possible, only use it as a guideline. Just to give yourself an idea on how to do things and then try experimenting with it. Do your own stuff, never follow a tutorial exactly, because you won't learn anything except how to do someone elses work. This is the best constructive critcism I can give you and only hope you will listen.
  24. Dude I now feel like busting out my lego's and messing about with them lol. Great work, I've been trying to find a copy of C4D but none of the local computer stores have them, and I don't really want to order one online as well yeah my parents are crazy and don't like the whole online ordering thing. So yeah lol, I'm pretty much out of luck.
