You never really seem to hate this update until you lose something that's yours, such as a wizard bottom robe gold trimmed your friend gave you as a gift for quitting which now means your full wizard gold-trimmed set incomplete. :'(

It was an itsy bitsy tiny weeny yellow polka dot... skillcape? :XD: For now there's not much to rely on to guess what it could be. I could be something like using a magical animation to spawn a cute little character, or for all we know it could be throwing a cage over a dog #-o

Issue 1, Volume 1 | November 24th, 2007 - "Live. Sleek. Informative." The past few weeks at the Project Onyx development site have been indeed quite busy, working on something more outstanding, interactive, and informative than any other RS newspaper has attempted to bring you before. Welcome to Project Onyx v2. While we have had a gap in publishing the past few weeks for the development of this beautiful new version, we can assure you that it's well worth it :). Here's what new in the v2: The Logo At the top of our page, we have a beautiful new logo to symbolize Project Onyx v2, as well as some special holiday-themed ones we're eager to release. How's that for eye candy? ;) OnyxCast One of my personal favorites that's new on Project Onyx v2 is OnyxCast. It's an up-to-date, always-on, and live news ticker for Project Onyx. Not only is it productive, it's also, if I may say, very sleek. Informative, and beautiful :D (In Firefox, the OnyxCast ticker is stored in the cache longer; in IE, thet OnyxCast ticker is forced to re-cache each time. This is due to certain phpBB limitations. The ticker will reload regardless if there is a new message.) Headline News The first and most important section of the paper, where you can read the headline news article for the week, about recent updates, events, and the like. Literature Here you can read the daily chapters from the current series in our paper, written by our impressive and dedicated literature team. Gaming Outlook The Gaming Outlook section of the paper is the only section not about Gielinor, where you can read what's going on in the entire gaming world. Entertainment The entertainment section of the paper is a weekly collection of media including pictures, music, and videos based upon Runescape. Interviews Every other week, we will be bring you an interesting interview from someone special! OnyxIRC OnyxIRC is another new section, dedicated to the new Project Onyx IRC channel. Here, you can find information on how to enter the channel, as well as scheduled meetings/conferences, and the like. Sadly, the OnyxIRC channel will be offline for the first issue duration :'(. Editorials At the end of the paper you will find the Editorials section. Similar to a Letters to the Editor sections, here we will reply to comments and questions sent in by our readers, as well as the opinions and behind the scenes from our editors. Name: N/A (Haven't thought of one) Section/Chapter: Part 1: Scout; Chapter 1: Unexpected Encounter Author: Shadowcheval Chapter 1: An Unexpected Encounter A bleak landscape of grays, blacks, and browns, dotted with trees and various monsters. Blackened, decaying trees and dark, ominous dirt surround the area. Through this landscape a lone man ran. A majestic, yellow cape with a half moon and a star on the back, a ripped blue shirt, dark blue trousers, gray gauntlets, large, yellow boots, and yellow gloves were his simple attire. His roughshod hair was a sky blue as was his thick beard. He seemed to not be running from anything, neither man nor beast, but seemed to be following some trail he alone knew. Stopping by a particularly tall tree he rested and consulted a map. He quickly made a few marks with a bright red feather and then continued on. Meh, with all the sales and coupons going on during the Black Friday time period I'm sure you could score it for free. Most game rental stores have a 'first rental free' deal too. I never really rent stuff, so...

:shock: Why...do your parents compete with gamerscore for you? :shock:

It's not necessarily something a [sane] person obsesses about, it's kind of like combat like in Runescape. You don't have to train it, but it makes you look good.

I'm going to rent it too. Not because I'm a gamerscore noob, just because I want to get a 1000 gamerscore start compared to my friends 2840 :P

I was browsing Digg one day, and discovered this interesting little tidbit. For those who care about your Gamerscore, wouldn't you like an easy way to get 1000 points? How about in two minutes? By simply holding down a button? Yea...that's what I thought. Even though I don't know a 360 yet, I understand getting 1000 gamerscore can take several games completed; yet, in Avatar - The Legend of Aang - The Burning Earth, the developers must of thought the feat of beating a few games over time is equivalent to the effort of holding 'B' for two minutes. Just by starting the game and standing in a certain position for two minutes, holding B, you can easily rack up 1000 gamerscore. :pray: Discuss.

That's cool, the main reason I'm getting a 360 is Halo. My friend invited me over to his house a couple days after Halo 3 came out, and when he let me play over live with him on spilt-screen, it really got me interested in the 360.

There's a million of good games out right now for the 360. If you like FPS and are getting Xbox Live to go along with your 360, get Halo 3. Even if you defeat or get bored of the storyline, the multiplayer action, forge, maps, etc. certainly won't let you down.

...I'm not a fanboy, I've never owned a Halo game nor Microsoft console in my life. My friend got me into the online play... Anyways, thanks for the advice everyone!
