  1. Holy...awesome find. I just went to the teaks to get a Raven's egg...was it hard to get one of these? Edit2: Danggit! #-o
  2. they said they were banning the account because it had an "offensive" name. the truth is...the name wasn't offensive to anyone i've talked to. so they gave the owner till the 17th to transfer items to a new account (encouraged him to break their own rules...actually told him to), and then they would lock/ban the account on the 17th. nothing happened...and this message was received today. makes me think they wanna know every possible way there is to transfer. Wow, they're pretty clever
  3. There is? What one? World 42 (Members). EDIT: To the post below me, beat ya :
  4. Thank you! And you too, Ratchet  Btw, Skill, the title to Chapter 3 was lost in translation apparently :-k *cough*your-signature-advertises-what's-not-even-out-yet :P*/cough*. Oh well, maybe it'll arose some questions :o.
  5. \ =P~ Man, way to 'release a hint' Jagex...as soon as I get on I am certainly going to check that out. In fact, I'm going to start working to get my construction to 50 starting to day so I can live in the 'pet city' :P.
  6. My family recently got a new set of wireless phones, labeled 'Wi-Fi' friendly. I tested them out with my Wii, and the internet speed changed significantly between our old phones (which interfered with our router) and our new ones. Also, it's going to be hard to run a 100ft cable through the basement, and I decided to look into the alternative Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter. I think it would personally be alot easier to plug it in and type in a code than drill a bunch of holes and the like. If anyone here has one, please tell me your experiences. Is it decently fast? Enough to host games without too much noticeable lag? (My Wii is connected via a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector (same ft distance), works fine, which is connected to my PC, which is connected to our Linksys WRT54G router.) Please do not post things like 'omfg u nub dnt pay 100 dllrz 4 a peace o crazpzzpzzzz'. :) -Skill Caster
  7. My voice is mildly high-pitched; I don't have a 360 yet (I will be getting on at Christmas time, along with TDU and Halo 3), but I'm afraid once I do I'll occasionally be instantly labeled as an annoying 5-year-old kid without finishing my first sentence. :\. Anyways, a story I had, I went over to my friend's house and played with them on their 360 w/ live, and there was this 'mikey mike' guy, and he was right-down annoying. He apparently thought betraying every other person on his team (me) and not one of the opponents was the objective. He also recruited his friend (on our team also) to stand at the only spawn point for our team, and rapidly beat all of our teammates that spawned there, making a huge body pile that was apparently amusing to him. Eventually, my friend and I just said "screw it", and went after him.
  8. Wow, you have some talent there... :ohnoes: Good job on those! =D>
  9. The comic seems a little...'iffy'...having drug references? :-k
  10. =D> _________________________ Just a small announcement. Project Onyx will not be publishing any issues for the following weeks, due to holidays, and also because we are proud to say that we have a new project in the works. For those interested, you'll just have to wait and see what it is :)
  11. Otherwise, I'm glad everyone is enjoying the issue. And as before, happy holidays!
  12. And it scares me that that reply was my 666th post  Ok...now it's 667 *phew*
  13. I don't really see why people must point out the grammatical errors each time we publish; in my opinion, it's not an essay-it's a gaming newspaper...a few spelling and grammar mistakes shouldn't really be such an annoyance to our readers who do not try to point out our every mistake. We didn't throw it all together at the last minute. We started on Monday (12.10.07). Also, it's a shame that you removed the quote from your signature, I love the irony from it.
  14. Thanks swedish :) Plus, there's quite more to come. If you'd like, I think you'd make a great addition to the team, so be sure to send in your application when you can.
  15. I invite you to join OnyxIrc, read the directions up there Also, great issue Skill, were gonna blow some people away over the next few weeks, with our newest "additions" to Project Onyx Correct, so everyone submit your applications :)
  16. Then put it on YouTube, called "Burn my PS3" :P Nah, I'd sell it on eBay. It's entertaining to smash stuff, but when you think of the kids who would die out there for any game console, that's kind of sad :(
  17. Issue 3, Volume 1 | December 15th, 2007 HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! From all of us at Project Onyx, we wish you happy holidays! As the holidays are just a few days away now, Project Onyx is spreading the spirit with our special 2007 Holiday Issue! Perhaps you'd be interested in Xewleer's article about Real Time Strategy Games? Even...submit an application to join Project Onyx? No matter which you prefer, we hope you all have a delightful and safe holiday season! The controversy that set many of fansite forums on fire with topics. The week that changed Runescape. However, those of you with 'The Day Runescape Died' signatures, and those who have 'quit this stupid game forever because Jagex cant run it' may not be seeing the potential of this update. Jagex's updates, while at first seen by most players as evil, pointless, and destructive, are more better in long-term effect. In my opinion, even though they were great activities, I could live without PKing and gift-giving, if it means I never have to see a bald character in the default clothing swarming training spots anymore. While it is a rather very short Headline News article, we wanted to let the updates flourish for more than a week before publishing our full story. In conclusion however, have a safe and fun holiday season, and enjoy the rest of the issue! Chapter 3: Author: Shadowcheval The Saradominian Warriors arrived at the southern end of the Forgotten Battlefield, carefully watching the enemy mages in their mystic robes. While they waited for the Zamorakian Warriors to arrive, the fletchers passed out the arrows. Soon, they saw the warriors in red armor coming slowly to their position. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅRemember! We attack the members of the RuneScape Trade Guild, NOT the members of the Zamorakian Warriors,̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  18. It was... lets see...oh yeah, just about...yep the ENTIRE staff said you were gonna mention this. Lol. We had a pile up of 5 interviews we needed to pick from, MSSW3 is recent so we did Dbzruler. It'll be in the next edition i'm pretty sure. Hehe, just a friendly joke Book :) Otherwise, great issue. =D>
  19. I see *someone* forgot to publish an interview with *someone* :-w .
  20. Well, considering there are now 3 topics on this matter, it won't be long before RWTers pick up the idea from here...
  21. Read the thread before posting. :wall: I did. The reply I posted was more of a 'Yay, it's out!', than a 'Guess what phpBB3 came out today!'.
  22. My best friend had that happen with his 360 too, it's not anything to worry about I assume. I think its just because of some first-run-power-failures that might happen, if there's something wrong at first with the 360 <-> AC Adapter <-> Outlet. I'd feel bad for all the kids in the world though in 12 days that have excitment pumping through them at 8PM on Christmas Day, they plug their 360 in, and it does that :P
  23. For those interested at Tip.It staff, phpBB3 is coming out today!
