  1. This. Any issues you may have had from using MIrc came from links you clicked on while using it, the actual program can't do anything. Either that or your computer technician has no clue what he's doing :P Probably the last one. I'm a WoT freak, and it ticks my friends off...Anyways, thanks for the answers guys. Question solved.
  2. I know a lot of people here use mIRC, and I know I'm probably going to get flamed for asking this question, but I just want to clarify. I used mIRC before, yet when I serviced my PC I was told mIRC was causing a lot of issues, malware-wise. Not sure if this was a false positive or what, but I'm a little hesitant before downloading it again. First off, is the program itself safe? I know it's shareware, and there's a lot of definitions on that. Do I need to register it to be safe? Thanks. -Skill
  3. Which are better at my levels? Yews sell for more but take long, raw lobsters sell for less and also take less time.
  4. I don't care if it's grinding, I'm just looking for something I can use to make a lot of money while I'm doing homework and such. Stats are as followed:
  5. He's talking about this video, for you and those unaware. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAB2iEvaMwE
  6. ok thanks for being an a** i appreciate it : Well you did ask a pretty stupid question... Who cares if he posts here a lot? It's not like he's spamming or flaming. He's just giving you the help you asked for. dude, i asked a simple question, why does he post so often here, but i guess i get flamed for doing just that... i mean it was a completely innocent, harmless question... No, it wasn't. You know exactly what you meant. Just drop it. By the way, good to see you peterpan! =D
  7. Yep, you were right, Google pwns again. The first result seems like it exactly what your looking for. http://www.poppeeper.com/ WoT gives it a thumbs up too. Ask again if you need any help setting up the POP3 settings and stuff.
  8. First off, I don't really know much about clans. But I have an idea, and I'd like to see if there would be anyone interested in it. Normally (or from what I can tell from clan war videos), basic clans are a bunch of unorganized spamming, shouting, and attacking. I think it would be kind of interesting to have a clan that's very organized, like an actual army. We could have certain tactics, and missions, etc. The clan chat would be like "Sniper Unit 1 Stand Down". It probably sounds stupid, but it's still in the works. So, is it a potential idea, or is it hopeless?
  9. [hide=RobinHoodie][/hide] Great names are still available. Didn't want to bother going through paint so i took it with sk. Lol, great name. Although, the fact you use IE with MyWebSearch makes me shudder... I personally am against this. I've come up with some pretty original names I reserve in case I want to go back and start another account without having to spend an hour or so thinking about one.
  10. GifNinja.com. Free, no download required, and it's very user-friendly. Only problem I noticed is that the maximum limit is 4 seconds, although I really don't see why you'd want to convert an entire movie or something to .gif format.
  11. Just in case, check to see if your 'SW Synth" isn't muted.
  12. Just for the record, there is safe and even possibly even free to get RS on your iPhone/iPod. Just download a VNC application from the App Store (I believe there is a free one that works pretty well, but you can pay up for more features). Configure your PC, and you're good to go. You can log on to RS on your computer and continue on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Of course, regardless of your connection, the lag is going to suck terribly. Although, you could use this for non-precise tasks, such as wood-cutting or fishing where you don't need to continuously click and constantly focus on it.
  13. Even if you want to or not, NintendoWIFI.com (it's actually this URL now) is where you need to go. If you don't like it, that's a shame-the whole reason they give you the error code is so you can look up and get support on what's wrong. You can look up error codes in the future here, although I've already taken the task of looking up yours. [hide=Support Recommended for Your Issue]Using a router: 1. Please make sure that your router is not on our list of incompatible routers. Click here to view the list and locate your router (if available). If it is listed as "not compatible," then it appears your router will not work with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Consult the compatibility chart for recommended routers, or consider purchasing a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. If your router is not listed as being incompatible, please proceed to step #2. 2. Ensure your router has the latest firmware installed. Visit your router manufacturer's website and look for any updated firmware that may be available (these are typically found under "downloads" or by searching for your particular model number). Contact your router manufacturer for additional assistance. 3. Make sure that your network's name (SSID) matches exactly to what you have entered in the Nintendo DS. 1. Log in to your router using the default IP (consult the router?s owner?s manual for assistance). 2. Look for the section for SSID (typically in the "wireless settings" area). 3. After you find the SSID (network name), verify in the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings of your Nintendo DS that the SSID is appearing exactly as listed in your router. This includes making sure capitalization, spaces, or special characters match exactly. 4. Check Nintendo's router info for special notes, if available, for your router. 1. Click here to go to our Wireless Router Configuration page. 2. Use the drop-down box on the left to select, if available, your router manufacturer. 3. Click on your router's model number, if available. 4. Read any "special notes" at the top of the router's page. Many issues can be solved by changing such things as the Transmission Rate. 5. Your router may not be assigning an IP address to the Nintendo DS. Try manually assigning an IP address to your Nintendo DS. 1. The first thing you'll need to do is find out what IP address your router is using. To do this: 1. Click the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner of your computer. 2. Click "Run." 3. Type "cmd" into the box and press Enter. 4. Type "IPCONFIG/ALL" and press Enter. The IP address displayed of the PC will be displayed. The IP address you going to assign to the Nintendo DS must be 10 digits higher than the PC?s. (e.g., 192.168.1.100 becomes 192.168.1.110) 2. You will now need to manually assign this new IP address to your Nintendo DS. For step-by-step instructions on how to do this, please click here. If you are still unable to connect, please call 1-800-255-3700 in the USA or Canada for more information. Using a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector: * Does the Blue Wi-Fi registration tool icon appear in the system tray of your PC (typically this is found in the bottom right-hand corner of your computer screen, near the clock)? 1. Yes. If the connector has been inserted very recently, it may take several moments for it to establish a connection. Retry. 2. Yes. If the USB Connector is inserted directly into the PC, trying attaching the plastic extension cable that came with your USB Connector. Getting some distance between the PC and the USB Connector may help the signal strength. 3. No. Is the software installed? Is the USB connector inserted? Restart the PC, and if it still does not appear, we recommend uninstalling the software and installing the latest version. Click here to get the latest software for the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. 4. Yes, but it's gray. Is the USB connector inserted? Right-click the registration tool icon and choose to run the registration tool. If it does not respond, restart the PC. If it still does not respond, we recommend uninstalling the software and installing the latest version. Click here to get the latest software for the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. If you are still unable to connect, please call 1-800-255-3700 in the USA or Canada for more information.[/hide] Direct link here.
  14. The above post is correct. And even though they give you the option to choose what you want installed, to me it's a repulsive thought to have anything even related to having malware on my hardware. For the proof: Detailed Download Analysis Courtesy of McAffe. Example post from site review: "Adware is not optional. You download it, you get the screen to install the adware, you can do either but no matter what it installs the adware onto the computer. Oddly, the adware activated after about 4 months of use."
  15. I suppose you could get a USB cable extender, as there really isn't much other option (unless you have a laptop and flash drive; which is what I do when I record). Be careful though, these might tend to slow down speed at add a delay time (as in, you press a button on your controller and it will appear on your computer screen 3 seconds later) if it's not fast enough or especially if it's not USB 2.0.
  16. First off, you're correct about the Dazzle capture card. I have the Dazzle Video Creator Plus ($89.99). All you have to do is connect the cables and you're good to go. Next, the splitters are optional, although they do make it easier. If you skip out on them, you'll still be able to see what you're recording...but it will be in a 2-inch area on your PC. Finally, it doesn't seem like you're out to be the next digitalph33r or anything, so Pinnacle Studio (the editing software included with the capture card) or even Windows Movie Maker will do fine. Hope I've helped. -Skill
  17. Like said above, you will be able to share the same accounts with multiple computers, but beware: the purchases you make with your gift card may have DRM (Digital Rights Management) which will limit the number of computers, iPods, iPhones, etc. you will be able to store purchased items on (unless of course you purchase songs from iTunes Plus, which has DRM-free higher quality music).
  18. Like I just said above your post...while I'm not sure if it has alt-code capabilities, mostly everything else produced by the MSN Plus add-on is only viewable to other clients with the add-on installed, otherwise it looks like "S#([c=3]kill #(30-9-)C#($)aster". Seriously. Your best bet is to go find an alt-code website and skip out on this add-on that's riddled with nasty spyware.

Not sure if it would work for you, but I've had somewhat of the same problem before. Although, if you ask your director and explain your problem, he/she might allow you to play for him/her privately so you don't have to do it in front of everyone.
  20. First off, there's an entire website dedicated to help forum administrators start, maintain, moderate your community and more. You can find it here. Now, for your clan's forum. You'll have to provide what kind of forum software it is (phpBB3, InvisionPower Board, etc.) for help on that.
  21. Sad to see you go man, I really enjoyed your writings. It was a pleasure working with you before. Farewell. -Skill
  22. Well, it depends on what you've got. The setup will work. It matters what software you already have. If you already have an editing software such as Adobe After Effects, then get the DVD Recorder, which still captures like the Platinum. With the Platinum, you're basically paying $30 more for a ([opinion]buggy, unreliably, slow, annoying, poorly coded[/opinion]) copy of Pinnacle Studio 10.
  23. Crucial is a pretty good place for memory upgrade, it's where I buy my RAM. They have a free system scanner via this link. You have to download the scanner, but it tells you available ram slots, etc. You can check out Crucial's WoT rating here.
  24. Ah, that's pretty smart logical. I'm probably not going to start off too hard I suppose, and I could easily (and cheaply) upgrade later in the year/years when the need arises. Thanks so much for all of your help guys. =D
  25. Yea, but to be honest, I'd have no idea where to start. There's the whole "if you screw up you're own your own because the tech support is you" thing, and it seems so complicated. I'd be afraid that I'd wire something wrong and it'd combusted into flames when I booted it up or something. Anyways, regarding Nadril's setup...3GB of ram? That's enough? I guess that's kind of offset by the 1GB video card. Bit more expensive for the tastes but I figured I had no other real option when I started. But...just for kick's, how much would the net cost be if I build a custom-built PC with those specs?
