  1. Hmm. Well, could I start woodcutting yews and sell them for a profit, then?
  2. Hey, I'm back once again, but with a new question! =o I was doing some research yesterday, and noticed that if I want to get 8959 oak planks, it'll cost 3.7m on the GE (way out of my budget). I'm not sure if this is correct, but I also figured out if I cut and plank the oaks myself, it's only going to be about 900k. That's a deal to me. So, assuming my math is correct (please check it!), where is the best place to cut/bank oaks? Second, when planking oaks, is it best to just run the planks from Varrock East Bank to the sawmill myself, or use a butler to do it while keeping my budget cheap? Thanks again guys!
  3. Hey guys. Hopefully you can figure out something overnight, because I need this information tomorrow morning. Anyway, here are my skills: I'll be able to play all day tomorrow, because I really need to gather up 3m in the fastest time possible for a surprise-like thing. So, I don't care if it's mining, smithing, fishing, woodcutting, merchanting, vial collecting or what, I want the absolute fastest way to make money with my skills. The only exception I make is combat and other unsure things (meaning I want something I know I'll get a profit out of, not just playing the market etc.) I currently have 1m. Thanks! -Skill
  4. Link is safe. (Sources: WoT / McAfee SiteAdvisor)
  5. Oh god, I remember when I didn't know about this thing. Worst 3 months of my life (happened last year). I was really arrogant and overconfident with my security one day when browsing the forums, and I saw some guy saying "selling acc" or whatever. I noticed the supposed [Please Use QuickFind Code] link on there, and went to see the nub getting pwned by the RSOF mods. I stared at the odd formatting for a minute and then I'm like "Oh ****...". After freaking out and having nightmares for many months after that, I'm way more cautious about my internet saftey. Use WOT (Web of Trust, similar to McAffe SiteAdvisor but a lot better), NoScript, ABP, and everything else I can get to protect myself. EDIT: Yea, to those posts above, I panicked too. It instantly gave me a keylogger, not a scam login. Passwords to everything (Facebook, Bank, School...all that stuff), and no privacy to change. I'd get rid of it ASAP.
  6. Also, if you're going to use this data, make sure you have at least 500,000gp (or 750,000gp if you've also completed Royal Trouble) in your coffers at all time, or you will be charged an extra fee that doesn't give you any resources.
  7. Actually I said it doesn't require interaction :). I suppose I could do ranarrs though, that doesn't even require you to be online, which is pretty sweet. I'll check it out, thanks. Any other ideas?
  8. I'm looking for the fastest way to make money with my skills in something that doesn't require a lot of interaction (i.e. woodcutting, fishing). I figure while I am semi-retired, when I'm doing homework or just hanging out after practice I could make some money in the background. Thanks for your help guys.
  9. Thought I'd help you guys out. http://img263.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... answb5.png Nice read, glad to see you're back.
  10. I agree with the above said. "Back then", you'd never been to Taverly, nor did you know what it was. You leveled up by mixing a single potion, killing a single goblin, or crawling through a single course. The day you got members you ran to those gates near Falador, the only way into the great mysterious realm you knew nothing about. You began jumping up and down with excitement as you found a poisoned iron dagger, not only because iron was your average type of metal and you didn't even know poison existed. I could ramble on and on. I don't think I ever have any more fun than playing a new video games...especially at Christmas. Even being a teenager sometimes that feeling you got when you were younger that fills you with happiness manages to reach you sometimes. I remember when I first played Halo. At the Halo 2 era, my friend wanted to show me it, but I didn't really take an interest. Then, when I ran over to my friends house to try this new "Xbox 360" he got, I was amazed by Halo 3. Staying up late at nights with friends playing Guitar Hero 3, laughing together as we all three miserably failed Through the Fire and Flames on Expert. The same goes for Runescape. My friend was the first to get members, and watching him venture out into the uncharted members world was so exciting. I can't remember times more fun than that. Can anyone?
  11. For the first...half a year, perhaps, I used 59, because it was the most average recommended world for me, and I just stuck with it. Then...my life changed...I found Tip.It :o, and ever since then, I've never left World 99, other than for purposes to meet up with friends or for trading/mini-games.
  12. I suppose it's a bit harsh to come down on someone because they made a tiny grammatical error in their post, but I can't help it but point it out how idiotic it is when someone says to me, "u r dumb". Isn't that a bit ironic?
  13. Me :twss: (I do apoligize. Except I've seen tons of people use that smiley and I needed an excuse to. Hehe.) I would have to say Tripsis. The entire Tip.It staff does a great job, but the only one that I've actually 'talked' to is Tripsis, from her moderator days to her administrator promotion. Rock on Tripsis! \
  14. I can't really recall any of my exciting dreams at the moment; I do remember my dreams, it's just I can't think of any of the good ones right now. Sometimes though, my dreams are really weird. They'll have the most deepest, philosophic things that make me ponder something really important the entire day once I wake up, yet when I think about it in a normal state of mind, it makes no sense at all. It's rather difficult to explain.
  15. They're not the last few quests, those are the the quests listed under 'Easy' on Tip.It. Once I complete those, I'll update the list with 'Medium' quests and then 'Hard'. I broke them down so I don't get discouraged.
  16. Ok, but I haven't done the Swan Song quest yet. Its fun, go do it. I don't have the required magic level nor do I want to pay to get to it since my intention is to make money. Are there any other good methods other than Swan Song?
  17. Ok, but I haven't done the Swan Song quest yet.
  18. I apoligize for all the topics like this in the Help and Advice. However, I need to know the best and fastest way to make money with my below skills in P2P. Attack - 70 Strength - 57 Defense - 51 Thieving - 53 Mining - 60 Smithing - 63 Fishing - 64 Cooking - 66 Woodcutting - 65 Runecrafting - 38 Crafting - 55 Fletching - 50 Hunter - 58 I think that's everything important. If not, check out my highscores. Right now, I'm fishing for uncooked lobsters. Thanks so much for your help!
  19. You know, I've been thinking about the positive effects of this. I mean, think of the internet memes it could bring. "Don't safety bracelet me bro!"
  20. That's a bit ridiculous. In theory, it seems convenient, but do you honestly want to go walking around in an airport wearing a dog collar? What if they actually go through with this idea, and decide we need to wear them all the time? And to be honest, it's a bit flawed. Tazers, while they can malfunction, they are firearms and can only harm someone that is being in contact with it or being aimed at. These things could malfunction and shock the crap out of a bunch of innocent passengers. For all we know, a hi-jaker could get through to the control room, or remote, or whatever controls this, and take control of all of us with the 'safety' bracelets.
  21. That was my first screamer...I was over at my friends house, and they were showing me stuff on Newgrounds. I went up with my friend to his room and later his brother comes up and shows it to us...I was really ticked, . But it wasn't the worst I've had; it wasn't one that has a scary image, just an idiotic teenager screaming into his webcam. Idiots.
  22. They're just cool and add a bit of ' 'cwute fuzzy' animal' to your adventures :o.
  23. I'm working on a small hobby MMORPG, it's not commercial-quality though.
