Hey guys! :D I went to xbox.com last night to read up on the Xbox 360 I'm going to buy, and I saw the headline "Halo 3 Proposal - He Popped The Question During A Halo 3 Match". It's quite an...interesting story 0_0. (Click here to visit the official Xbox site to read the article) ...discuss  .

Thanks Ugafan! Can anyone also tell me a bit about Xbox Live?

To Those Who Think RS is 100% Safe.

It's very common really. What it does is that when the advertisement iframe section changes ads, it removes focus from the RS applet. It's especially annoying when you're typing, this happens, and you press backspace. -

It doesn't really 'scan' your PC, it's just pretending again. It's nearly impossible for a good virus-scanner to even scan the entire Windows folder in less than a minute. It's simply an animated .gif pretending to scan your PC. The results are completly fake. -

If you ever get a popup such as the one above, don't touch it at all. Phishing scams these days look extremly real, and often pretend to mask themselves as anti-virus alerts to get the better of the user. Should you ever get one of these pop-ups, the safest way to close it is to go to your taskbar, right-click the pop-up window's button, and click Close. Also, if you ever get an issue you like, make sure you browse with Firefox, with NoScript and McAfee SiteAdvisor. -
About The Movie 9 months after the making of Pasta Wars, it's sequel is out! Pasta Wars II has the (better) qualities of Fresh Off The Boat but with the Pasta Wars storyline. Pasta Cheif, Knight in training, and the Knight leader, Iron Mace, have to get to Taverly before The Lord can! With the 'fight' in the wilderness, Pasta has done something horrible to the Nat not letting them use it! It's a full-out, non-teleportable race to Taverly. The winner will win, and the loser will lose. Click Here To View The Video *For enhanced viewing quality, Pasta Wars II has been hosted on the Veoh Video Network. For those of you with safety concerns, you may view the Mcaffe SiteAdvisor site report here (where it has been given a green rating). [hide=The Exclusive Pasta Cheif Interview On The Making of Pasta Wars II]Shadowcheval: So, what would you describe was the reaction to your video after it debuted? Pasta Chief: Of Pasta Wars I? Surprisingly really. Didn't expect it to have that many good hits. It wasn't a whole lot, but, much more than I would of ever though. What lessons do you think you took out of Pasta Wars I? Many, the biggest one is...adding voices. With the release of Fresh off the Boat in June, I wanted it to be much better than Pasta Wars. So I decided to add voices to it and use a better recording program: Camtasia. Times between the lines were a bit too long though, and I hope to improve that thru PW2. Between Pasta Wars I and II, you posted a few videos. How do you think these videos helped you grow into a more experienced director? By adding voices and using Camtasia in them, I got a experienced in them. Also, the natural environment of filmmaking also increased my abilities. By doing things over and over, (making movies) but different each time (stories, voices, etc) you can learn a lot. How do you think you're increased knowledge culminated in Pasta Wars II? From realizing my mistakes of the past, I made it more better than the last. Such things are time between lines, as seen in FoB they were too long. Also better voice placement can be seen in PW2. How do you think the Tip.It Community will react to your sequel? With big laughs. Heh, do you hope to be one day recognized on RS with people saying "Hey, that's the guy who made Pasta Wars!"? Yes I do. In fact, I got some PMs and in game chats about FoB during the first few days of its release. Do you think you'll continue with the Pasta Wars series or will you move on to a new project? Pasta Wars is done to be honest. With the lack of voices I can't really expand the characters or story of it. But I do have plans of a RuneScape-series project after PW2. Can you shed any details about this upcoming project? It's still in its planning stages, but its about this selfish king (with a heavy german accent lol) who takes over RuneScape. Its pretty much a spoof of history, from the Medieval ages to Imperialism. Alright, now onto the man himself, how long have you been playing Jagex's MMORPG? Since December 2005, which was roughly 2 years ago. What are your favorite parts of the game? Turning the noobs of Castle Wars into giant ice cubes! If there was one thing you could change about Pasta Wars I, what would it be? The voices. No changes to the script or filming? The script was alright, the filming could of been done with Camtasia and better times between the lines...other than the voices, I'm done. What was your inspiration for the original Pasta Wars? AznAuxiliary's movie: The Lost Scroll. What was it about that movie that really got you into the online movie scene? The comedy in it inspired me to make my own. What ideas did you take out of The Lost Scroll? Random funny scenes...and voices for FoB. Do you think your creative process has been influnced by Hollywood flicks? Except of the Pasta Wars spoof of Star Wars, not really. Are there any things you learned early on that you think up and coming filmmakers should know? Use voices and Camtasia. Overall, have fun! On average, how long do you think these projects take you? 2 weeks. Wow, for script, filming, and editing? Yep. What about casting and such? How do you usually handle that? Actors in RuneScape are usally friends and interested TIF'ers while voice actors are real life friends who played RuneScape at one point. Seeing as your character's name is in the title of the movie, how did you come up with it? Back then I wasn't really creative on names...lol. So I used the main character's name (Pasta Cheif) in along with 'Wars' since it was a Star Wars spoof. Thus, Pasta Wars. What about your actual character? Where did his name come from?[/b] Since I loved pasta, I named it Pasta Chef. Unforuntatley chef was taken, so I tried chief. Taken again. Finally I picked Cheif and it was available. People still mentioned I spelled either 'chef' or 'chief' wrong. -.- If you could change your name, would you change it to Pasta Chef, Chief, or something else entirely? Yes, and to Fudgewartz. Really? Why Fudgewartz? Fudgewartz is the name of one of characters in one of my script-story. Pasta Cheif: THANKS EVERYONE FOR HELPING ME MAKE PASTA WARS II POSSIBLE! ESPECALLY my good in-game friends, *cough* Dragon, Skill, Mitch *cough* =PAnd Jeremy, no CHILI for you. o.O[/hide] About The Project As our first promotional video, we have been given the opportunity to release Pasta Wars II through Project Onyx. Following this, as a 'Thanksgiving treat', we will be releasing the Project Onyx Back In Black promotional video. Both of these videos are to promote Project Onyx v2, an enhanced and higher-quality version of Project Onyx. As you can tell, all this commotion isn't just for another small change...Project Onyx v2 is going to be huge. Just a few days in development already, I can tell this is going to be a great update. The team I have gathered for the v2 development is dedicated more than I could of wished for, and their work-ethic is amazing. So far, I want to already give you guys a huge thanks :). _______________________________________________________________________ Project Onyx is not liable for any content hosted. Well, my friend is the one who got me into the Xbox, Halo, and Xbox Live. He recently invited me over to try it out, and, since then, I've been going over to play any chance I get. He has a very extensive collection, but I never get a chance to play anything other than Halo. I'm just looking to see how others feel about the console.
-
Er, I understand that this topic is sort of turning into a which-console-is-better-war, and those are some great game recommendations, however, I'm asking; what do you like about the console?; what do you dislike about the console?; and Have you encountered any problem(s) with the console before. Thanks!
-
Thanks double :) I'll look into the video real quick
-
Hehe, I already have a Wii :) Sorry about forgetting to add that. I'm not even sure if I'll have enough money for the console by Christmas, but I'm still interested in fellow Tip.Iter's reviews

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having an enjoyable evening. Hehe, I know, it's quite a rare occasion that you'll find me on the off topic boards, talking about something like a Microsoft game console at 11PM. To start off, I've always been a Nintendo gamer. I'm not a pure fanboi, but I've never really owned a non-Nintendo console. However, the dramatization, dedication, depth, and beauty of the Halo 3 trailer really is starting to convince me to buy the Xbox 360 console. That, and the additional features the Xbox has, such as the high-potential Xbox Live social-system, the marketplace, etc. For those interested, I am buying the Xbox 360 Premium Console (luckily, the holiday bundle, so two free games for me! :)) I suppose what I'm asking, is, To Buy a 360, or Not To Buy a 360. Post your opinions on the 360 (and Halo 3), what you like about them, what you dislike about them, and any problem(s) you've had. Thanks everyone for reading! -Skill Caster

[REVISED] Assist System: Detailed Guide, Review, FAQ & More
Skill_Caster replied to qeltar's topic in General Discussion
A rather informational report, I enjoyed it :) I bookmarked it also, for reference later :) -
An update, which meteorically speaking, hits two birds with one stone. A brilliant update to skillers, and at the same time a great attack against scammers.
-
Hehe, there are quite the odd ones floating around this topic :) I can't really say I've had any myself, although I usually prefer to collect the strange fruits instead of eat them :)

The most popular among the Tip.It community is the Draynor.net signatures. Not only are they trusted and safe, but they offer more customization and style than the other status signature providers out there. You can find them at http://www.draynor.net.
-
Wow...great idea and good organization :) I had inspiration to start something like this before, but I had never gotten around to it.

Why the Assist System will NOT ruin RuneScape
Skill_Caster replied to Jard_Y_Dooku's topic in General Discussion
Only benefit. Correct. I've been very interested in he fact that recently, Jagex's updates are not only beneficial and interesting, but they also at the same time are attacking Runescape's many annoyances (general store update-bots; assist system-scammers; etc.) -
