  1. working too well. honestly the high lvl quest is sumt to be thanful for, but with pc its almost sickening. adam, looks to be working well. A skiller quest would be cool, recipe came close, but ty
  2. NS i'm still on the give old nite a statue in fally bandwagon. as for deleted, yeah its close, i have a bud who just got his account from rsc back, after trying for months, he was over a two year log in. jagex doesn't seem clear on this. best idea is log in from time to time.
  3. ok genius. 1) not buying your own whips owns. 2) slayer is the only way I can stand to train boring melee, so I've decided to slay while I max, and its financed it nicely, (prayer aint' cheap) 3) any nub can pc till max. wow there are alot of no skill high lvls that are clueless on the game itself aren't there? 4) d boots pl0x. get off your duff and go slay. ;)
  4. EDIT: Comment removed for bad words and censor evasion - McGuff1 Please follow the forum rules.
  5. I see potential. it tops off at a low lvl, which translates into room for growth, its a wildcard for game developers, hell they have...... The imp in the box, which is great for dharok slayers, whom may wish to transport whips or other goodies to their crowded bank accounts. since i've been playing, elements ofthe rs community have been crying for some sort of spell that sends items to the bank, ya just got one. catch is that it sucks to lvl, no real cash benefit, crowded atm, but nonetheless is going to be needed as a quest req. = you pest control nubs with no clue how to play the game, nor skills, but a massive combat... might want to learn your way around and skill to the lvl that the current quests dictate.. heheh Has anyone tried these salamander range weapon thinggys in the wildy? i'm in no rush but dang might be interesting. last guy to back jagex here, but they may have just done sumt right, and I bashed it at first. don't worry, goan to be slow lvling lol
  6. its sumt to do and farming looks good with the current conditions. if never a member before, do the watchtower quest for a yanille tele and the biohazard for the ardy tele, and settle into the game, too early to tell if it sucks, there is alot of potential, once it settles down.
  7. The combination from the third screen starting just over the roof from second screen Relax (aka R). r,r,r,r,r,r,r then RED ROPE when between the birds, then down, r,r,r, up, down, r, r, r you should be just a bit above the landing spot at that point and go to the landing screen.
  8. I am at the point I planted the willow... and am waiting. this is what you need to and slightly after this point. 3 papayrus one sack of potatoes one ball of whool unlit candle yellow dies ten silk pieces clay bowl and 8 empty sacks for sandbags Figure a bunch of runes for teleing around and some super energys, and a glory ammy is a good idea. btw I super comped my tree in hopes of expidiating the process. edit dang you guys are way ahead of me. lol. cool this just got easier. =)
  9. that is stupid. and don't feel bad, my son has been playing stupid shooter games, i gave him a million gps to start, and that was through a friend so we weren't on the same comp or network at the same time ect, and they banned him for his name. or some kiddie name, he appealed it and they told him to make a new account, I see names like all the time and his was innocent, the kid is too young to be a biker and know what he was saying, needless to say he plays ps2 online and i'm out a mil gp's. You know the names are offensive but you post them anyway? Don't. Thanks, -RAHK-
  10. lets look at costs to start with, upgrading tech is a non issue, as jagex is mearly paying for servers and bandwidth, that cost is negliglble, look at sites like putfile and youtube, they consume a months worth of jagex's bandwidth and server space in a day. the employees, jagex uses A TON of interns, which explains the [cabbage]ty customer service, and half assed coding... all mmorpgs have [cabbage] code, the game is a nonending work in progress. the profits. 750k paying members at five bucks a month is 3mil on the low end. more like four. the ads, aka spyware, it amounts to pocket change but prob pays the electric bill. Uk taxes are about 30% for corporations, which is much less than that for citizens, or individual taxes. Jagex has one massive concern, which are the unpaid taxes on pixels sold for real life items. aka money, which is the primary reason for their rule against real life item trading, they can claim the player broke the rule, but according to thier tos they own the game an all characters, this will be interesting to watch play out. all in all, jagex nets a bundle, the growlers take the money out as it comes in to protect it from lawsuits, and then pay the UK citizen tax, i'm guessing they take home about 2.5 mil a year a piece assuming its an equal partnership, granted I have no real data, and would love to hear your feedback. as for selling it, that would be a trick, its a java based game, that is generally a shiitt platform for gaming, its homegrown and I bet takes alot of work and understanding to keep successful. Its not worth the headache to sony i'm more curious about other jagex sprouted companies, all those interners are ripe for contracting out as IT slaves. betcha they have an IT firm too.
  11. loads now, and didn't realize that was or wasn't possible to have some strange stats. can't say for sure I know if thats an issue, anyone? edit: here make sure ya close the tags bro. this is his image.
  12. there is a clan, of sorts called mayhem makers, thier forums have alot of things like that as do alot of pure boards, my bud is a hardcore pure nut. anyway, I wouldn't reccomend downloding anything from them or not being careful about scrips allowd on boards while you are searching for all things rune.... but those are the places to begin. http://www.mozilla.org get firefox, heck even jagex broke down about two years ago and reccomended it on the front page, *btw thats over thier own (client aka thier IE skin) make sure you have the noscript extention before you begin. ;) and happy taggin
  13. Very cool thread man, thank you. How exactly did you go about compiling that? irc bot or sumt?
  14. the guide worked well. http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/7776 ... st1vz3.jpg only thing is the upper west room is related to when you use the key to go down, its not by the elemental guys. (aka junction box) and be sure you click through the text, and not just click off it, the part with the fan specificaly. that held me up a bit. Good guide though, went well.
  15. yeah they need a time break before you can be jumped by some nubs nub with dds's. its really irritating, especially in single combat when someone eats or changes attacks and another asshat jumps in with his 4 dds specials. I solo alot too, so I tend to stick to multi now. i rather make nubcicles and pick em off than deal with a bunch of tagging 110+'s at the mb. for the most part i've been avoiding pking till i'm maxed
  16. Excellent Idea ratty. I would love it. such a pain in the [wagon] swaping weapons and setting spells. they have more useless space in that game window that they can do away with and utilize or just make the game window itself larger with...
  17. thanks man, so far so good, but i'm still hunting for the dang junct box....
  18. great. you just slowed a slow server down further, and let back people whom were stupid enough to get banned in the first place, and also werent bright enough to spoof. these people should be very much a positive addition to the community.
  19. I think it does. I often dharok abbys just to speed things up and i swear i've been using more pots, even though I lvl. and yeah it seems like this for awhile. Jagex's response is relative to when the question was asked.
  20. rc pkers are not real pkers for the most part. sooo many of them are no skill nubs that if you come back out potted and armed run like the nubs they are. I had one tell me awhile back after he ran back to edgie "I'l fight you but stop "binging" me." I was tb entangling his rear at about 100 cb and 96 mage. mwhahahhahha amazing how powerful they feel when you arent' eating ess. nubs. ;)
  21. put me up there. ;) went a few times, half the time I die at the 360's out of pure boredom and forgetting to drink prayer.... the stats would be nice, I'll mess around with it again someday... sharkeater75 117 combat 94 range 99 mage. lol
  22. =) just do it on purpose http://www.sharkeater.com/dmedalch.gif
  23. honestly, if you want to be a total nub slayer and sit at abbys till you max combat NO. people like that are the reason whips are worthless. but.... if as axe man jack reccomended ages ago, you want to slay on, in hopes of a better monster, and use those lvls you are getting in melee twards a greater goal, YES. on a related note.... this is how I feel about drag items, whips and merches nowdays.... http://www.sharkeater.com/dmedalch.gif <---------- 6meg gif that a bud has been working on with me, still needs compression.
  24. again.... good day. what about the dry streaks? drop dependency isn't really a cash maker unless you average it out. reason 652198489418918919818991 whip prices have been crashing.
