Well, I bought Crackdown and played the beta with a few of my friends for like 5 hours tonight. The new weapons like the Spartan Laser and the hand-held gattleing gun are pretty awesome, and visually the game is stunning. Basically; If you liked Halo 2 multiplayer, you'll loove Halo 3, if you didnt like Halo 2, you won't like Halo 3. As for as i've seen from the beta, the difference are minor cosmetically speaking, and nothing too drastic gameplay wise, save for the "x button" feature. What the X-button does now is allows you to deploy either the bubble shield, the trip mine, or exploding time bomb. I don't see a whole lot use for the bubble shield, i mean it takes like .5 seconds to deploy and can just be walked through (though i've barely used it yet). The trip mines and bombs are great for assaultl or CTF, i really found some good use in those :) I'll try Crackdown too.... eventually :P

I squealed like a girl when i got on WoW and there was the Starcraft II announcement :P

That'd be awesome if they reinstated the rank system. Grand Marshall Rocketman sounds so cool

All i remember was that it was too much xp :P. For me i think it was harder to go from 57-58 than it was 69-70. Mentally at least.

P2P filesharing itself is very legal. You're just not allowed to share copyrighted whatever stuff. At least for now you can still download Bearshare/Limewire and use it without a problem until you start downloading the wrong stuff.

Holy pally+anything usually beats us in 2v2. Pally shield bubble is the most baby move on earth :P. Usually a pally+pally or pally+rogue is the hardest to fight. I never do 2v2 since im a warlock, but according to my 2v2 team (holy pally+feral druid/rogue) this is the hardest combo to come up against/ best to fight with.

So the other week I had a lot of spare cash, and went and bought FSX: Deluxe. Shelled out 70 bucks and cleared 15 gigs on my hard drive and it barely runs :|. Oh well, X-Plane is better anyway.

Thanks for clearing that up Nad. Well I guess if I had to choose what franchise I wanted work on, it'd definatly be starcraft. Though it'd be soo hard to live up to arguably the best multiplayer RTS ever created. And if it's Starcraft Ghost they're picking up on again, screw that. Theres enough FPS's out there :)

Well he's a household name here in the states, so i guess it's pretty big. I'll reminisce on the good ol' days and watch Happy Gilmore :P

That statement would have a lot more power if that was the case in any of their past games. They're not a big company because of a one-hit-wonder or two, but because their games are consistantly awesome (though i've never played any of the warcraft RTS).

Best trick I could do was "the scorpion". You put the bag between your feet, fling into a handstand and try to flick the bag forwards. I wasnt very good at it :P

I wouldn't be suprised. The game definatly seems like itd appeal to a slightly more mature demographic.

Theres also the fact that the warcraft lore is still evolving. We all know what happens in LOTR and it has to end sometime.
