Going to Chicago: What should I do?

Recommended Posts

I'm leaving for chicago next week and will probably be spending 2 days of the week there (in a 4 star hotel to boot :D )

Anyways, what is there to do in Chicago?

All I can think of is get a picture of 'The Bean' (Cloud Gate)... and visit Millennium Park ;)

the sears tower is there, and that is pretty fun. other than that, its a big city, look at all the buildings and stuff (unless you are already from the city and see it often, a country boy likes to just look at all the huge buildings :D )

Totally depends on who you're going with, their relationship to you etc.

But thats true for everywhere. Honestly, I didn't really like Chicago when I went there, but I was 11 and it was in the winter.

Frasier wasn't from Chicago, was he?

Seattle (the space needle is in the title and all the frequent coffee shop mentions :P )

Ach, so you can't go down the street singin' toss salad and scrambled eggs :(

Either way, have a good time pal! :P

Is that the first thing you assume, that I'm meeting up with someone?

Nah, I'm flying there then going to a cousins wedding in Michigan

walk around late at night to see if you get mugged by some illegals  No, seriously visit the Sears Tower, I had a pen pal in like the 4th grade and they lived in Chicago and they said it was an amazing site even from the outside of the building. :o

Eat at the ESPN Zone for a late or early lunch. If it's not crowded, you can eat in one of the big recliners in front of the big screen TV (a HUGE TV). Even if you're like me and don't give a care about watching sports, it's a fun lunch. :P
