How cost effective are the new bows for the poorer part of the community (like me)? The only ones I see worth using are steel, iron and bronze bolts. How good are those compared to a MSB with corresponding arrows? And how good are they compared to a crystal bow? I'm also surprised by the little information available yet, the only thing posted is how good they are for pking and high hits, nothing about training.

Well, it's actually all in the title. But for those who don't know what I'm talking about, it's about this and this topic. If you check the date those topics are made, you see it's more then 6 months ago. Long enough to stop calling it new any more.

I agree we should get rid of that forum, I think it's the one I check the least. And I see nothing wrong with keeping those discussions on general P2P.

Why not actualy mod the board then? I'm sick and tired of all the crap topics polluting General P2P. 6 or so months ago the boards were fine, since then there's been a huge increase in these crap topics. "Favourite ___" "If RS3 was made what would you do" and crap like that. Before it had ACTUAL discussions believe it or not based on Runescape. Discussing things such as new methods on monster killing and topics that were about the actual gameplay of the game not crap that no one cares about and people only post in to get their post count up. Even though I'm not a member that long I agree with this. I'm becoming less and less active on both the general forums, just because I feel it's getting filled useless topics. But I agree with most of the changes: help forum was/isn't active enough to make seperate forums first place. Only thing I was wondering about is the "best clue reward" sticky at the clue forums, I actually like it and check it every now and then. I guess it'll probably be removed? Another thing I was wondering is what'll happen to the stickies on the general forums. General and F2P general have 9 stickies and 2 announcments together, will they all remain? It seems a bit much to me. (Kinda Off Topic: The "new" should be removed from the introducing and leaving stickies.)

That countdown thingy showed I was wrong again (-.-): It is at 11 Pm indeed. (Which means I probably can't come, because of the already stated exams. But there is a slim change I can come, because they don't start early any more, so I can get up a little later.)

Even though you say it's definitely worth it, I doubt so at my financial position. And where should I use it? I'll probably keep training slayer with my rune defender and guthans, I think a good attack bonus is worth more then a minor 7 strength bonus. It'd be good for CW attacker, but I'm mostly a defender and also there attack>strength (well, in my opinion). The last spot it could use it are at the barrows. Possible uses I came up with, which I don't do: - Pking/staking. - Daganoth kings. - Fighting dragons. Can anyone think of more good uses? (So where dragon fire shield is better then the rune defender?) One other question: What happens if you die with it and if you drop it like anything normal, does it protect over a whip? (I think if you normally drop it, I don't see it used very much for pking any time soon, because you'll always lose at least your whip.)

From Recent Update Forums. Wow, that probably means it is going to be a rare drop. For as far as I can see now, it's less rare then a dark bow, but way rarer then 3rd age. To my surprise there is only one selling and one buying thread on the armour forum.

15 Mil for the shield seems a bit low indeed. It's better then a third kite, so it'll be a couple of tens of million for a while I think.
