I've been doing barrows for a pretty long time and I've noticed something strange. Sometimes when fighting a brother in the tunnels, he suddenly disappears, while leaving the message "we'll finish the later" in your chatbox. What does this mean? And has it any kind of effect on something?

It all depends on what you want to do with it. Torag: Cheap and best defence (don't use the set effect though.) Verac: Only good for fight caves, khaplite queen killing and if your 110+ for barrows. (You kill them still better with normal slayer dart though.) Dharock: Good for training strenght and usefull at some slayer tasks. (You can use it on a lot of monsters, but you must be sure you don't lagg and it's pretty handy for slayer.) Guthans: Good for barrows, slaying and daganoth kings. (Over rated Imo, I can do barrows and slayer easily without them and I never go to the kings.)

I think you're forgetting one of the most important points of rares: they compensate for the huge inflation. Why aren't all prices increasing hugely? Right, because all extra cash in the game is pumped into rares. (But this is decreasing though, because of 3 reasons: Construction, skill capes and barrows.) [hide=Loads of quotes about the drop rate of 3rd age] I'd like to correct that, there are 12 different 3a items(4 per set, 3 sets). So the chances that you get a piece are 12 on 10000 or 1 on 833 clues. No you don't understand. The odds of getting a d shield from a skeleton are of 1 out of 10 000, not 12 out of 10 000. Each time you make a clue, you have 1 out of 10 000 chance of getting one 3rd age item. I'm no expert on the subject. If you want to check it out, there's a official forum topic about this, with lots of discussing, but overall, there seems to be a consensus that the 1 out of 10 000 is correct. Yes but there are 12 different items, all with a 1 on 10000 chance, so if you spread them you end up at 833,333333333 clues. Another example: Take dagganoth rex Special drops : Dragon Axe: 1 on 75 chance Warrior Ring: 1 on 75 chance Berserker Ring: 1 on 75 chance Now let's say you kill 75, you have a berserker ring, warrior ring and an axe(assuming your drops follow the dropstats). Thats 3 special drops(even though the drops are different) on 75 chances, or 3 on 75, or 1 on 25 chance for a special drop. If you would assume you only get 1 item on 10000 clues, that would mean a 120000 clues to get the 3 sets, however, what the mod said, every item drops within 10000 clues. If anyone is still reading this, tell me what you think[/hide] I think no one here knows the answer to that. The only said the change is 1:10K. Not if that counts for each individual piece of armour, or for all the items together, but I tend to the last one.

I usually bring loads of stuff, maybe too much. But anyways, this is my tipical cw outfit. Runes differ all the time, I just take all my runes in bank -1.

Let's face it, who doesn't? OT: Your stats and bank don't look like you've been playing that long, but still nice. 3K duelings and 1K super energies.

Do you mean the world 99 laws ? Nope, it's a huge calculation comparing loads of different rcing methods to see what's the best.

Draynor.net is having issues with them, they are currently working on fixing them, it says so on they're forum. Mkay, I've to respect that. Good to know about the stats too, I already worried Jagex banned them somehow.

As long as a "text based gangster" (I never thought that combination was possible) is first in the list, I don't think you can take it seriously.

Luckily you can report them for that now. :D OT: I don't really care, but if I've to say my personal overused thingy, it's "Mkay", I say it at least 4 times a day...

I also agree with you. If you're in the wildy to PK (note; this is significantly different then rune mining, green dragon killing, etc.) you should risk something while doing it. If you make totally sure you won't die, it's just an incredible boring place, how would you feel about pking if you couldn't kill anyone?
