This is different to religion because if true it can very easily be proved. Simply find out accurate and precise information on a dead relative based on a completely random person that the medium has never met before with the person answering only "yes" or "no"

I know where Parabola lives from doing a simple search. If I wanted too i could search the electoral roll and find the address of any UK citizen on the list. I dont need to know their pictures or for them to post information for me to find it out. All I need to know is a name. I belive that restrictions and a clear disclaimer needs to be put into place, I.e No pictures of under 16's or 14's for example. You shouldnt even be on this forum unless you are over 13 (COPPA). However I feel that the choice to post a real life picture is up to the user and should be allowed. I dislike the idea of a sticky where you all post pictures of yourself but posting holiday pictures or pics of you doing something cool in a valid thread should be perfectly ok.

The DVD of M is a really good transfer. I recently watched it on television on one of the movie channels and the quality was very poor. Quite bluury and it had the original subtitles which you could hardly read and the sound was muffled. The version my friend has however is really good and clear.

You will not ever find a person to convince me that ghosts are real and people speak to the dead. I personally believe that those people that claim that are either incredibly delusional and need serious medical psychiatric care or are knowingly committing fraud. People like Derek Akorah in the UK and John Edwards have been repeatedly caught out faking things, making things up or research beforehand about an area. but no matter how many times these people are exposed they still have their loyal fans who back them up. The TV companies get away with it by having a tiny disclaimer in itsy bitsy writing about the show being for "entertainment" The people that do this to general members of the public rather than on TV are also very nasty people, they give false hope to families who may have a missing child or family member in very ill health. My challenge to people like fgfuyfyuiuy0's aunt, phone psychics or television mediums is to put up or shut up. Prove what you are doing is real or stop doing what you are doing. One million dollars tax free dollars to give to whoever you want for something as simple as telling Randi whats in his deposit box. Its an easy task for someone with the skills they claim. I have not read any evidence in any of these posts which suggest paranormal activities are at work and I belive that they can all be explained. The suction cup object for example. I have a TomTom GPS thing with a suction cup on it. Most of the time its stick really tightly to the window but occasioanlly it showly becomes unstuck but the sheer shinyness of the rubber keeps it in place and then with the slightest touch it falls off. This is what i belive is happening to the eagle you speak of, the vibrations of a heavy object falling could easily be enough to dislodge a suction cup. It makes me sad that more and more people are beliving this trash and being exploited :(

I think Australia has the best flag in the world. It shows a real part of history and the countries heritage. Plus all the flag designs ever put forward have all been rubbish ^_^

Other people have mentioned programs like IE7, Realplayer and Quicktime (even though i like the quality of picture in mov files) but here are a few programs which I hate. SPSS 14 - Contantly craches and corrupts, files never open on first attempt. Cryptic error messages constantly show on the screen and I have to copy accross a file called spssd.conf every few weeks from a working pc because it corrupts and then refuses to open. It also has the most stupid licencing checker to make sure you arnt using a dodgy copy in the world with four 12 digit cose made up of numbers and lowercase & uppercase letters to be added to activate the seperate modules of the program. Adobe Acrobat 6 - Never ever ever makes a decent copy of the word files I am trying to convert. Fails to shade charts and graphs properly and refuses outright to make hatching work. Also doesnt like making a pdf of SNAP files and always spills it over onto two pages instead of one. Invisionfree/Forumer/ect - Basicly any online or free hosting comapny that allows people to create their own rubbish forum or website with a few clicks of a button. This has resulted in a huge upsurge of really bad websites and communities run by people who dont have a clue what they are doing while giving an ego boost to control freaks who just want to be an admin of a successfull site without putting in any work themselves. DRM - Any digital rights management software of any kind. If you can hear it though speakers or watch it on a screen then its possible to crack even the most strongest of digital rights management. I dont call anything which hunders the use of products i have rightfully paid for a feature. Its also not fair for me to spend a fortune upgrading my equipment just to play movies on because the DRM drains so much processing power and memory. Movie and music piracy is inevitable, the solution is to make stuff people actually want to buy no lock down everything so nobody can use it properly. At the moment the only way for me to get good quality high definition content that I can play on my laptop, xbox 360 and on my big HD TV is to get an illegal copy... surely thats not right?

IMO the relationship sticky should be deleted and replaced by a new rule directing people to other forums and charity groups who are better equipped and experienced to deal with this kind of advice The trivial video sticky should also be removed but people would be allowed to post videos in the main body of the forum. However, its not quite that simple... any topics posted that includes only a link and "check it out"ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã or something else equally lame will be locked and/or deleted. Unless the topic has a base for discussion then it has no place on the forum. If you write a decent topic about presidential elections and include a video clip then that's fine. Posting a video of a dog wearing a pink bonnet because you think its funny is not.

If you make an oversized signature and dont save a copy onto your hard drive then dont "boo hoo" if it gets taken away.

I'm at about 11:52am atm Day 1 I couldn't guarantee that they would still be on offer at play.com for very long so I took the risk getting the lot. I think its gonna pay off. God only knows where i'm gonna find the time to watch 80+ hours of programming hehe
