I dont watch 24 on Sky but Lost is in a mid-season hiatus, same as in America. The season continues in a few weeks time and runs until the end with no more breaks.

Check the keyboard settings. It should be set to British or American style keyboard.

There really is very very minimum of difference unless you are playing on a stupid sized HD tv screen. I cant tell the difference on my 32" TV. Component works just fine with HD, the 360 only goes up to 1080i atm anyway.
