I have a feeling im going to break the one i set for myself last year again too... Joining the Special Police force.

For some reason none of the images from Wikipedia load anymore (well anyhitng from http://upload.wikimedia.org). The connection seems to time out. Content pages load perfectly fine and things like the logo and the button images work fine too. Also images load ok in Opera and IE7. I have cleared the cache and upgraded to Firefox 2 and still having this problem. Any ideas anyone? (Cam)

High Definition DVD's are a great idea. Unfortunatly the price is stupidly high and the built-in DRM is being foisted apon us. I'm hoping that HD-DVD finally wins the "war" because if youve got an X-Box 360 then you only gotta buy the HD-DVD player add-on for about $150 rather than the Blu-Ray players which retail for a grand! @ Diminished2b: I realise that pretty much every DRM system will eventually be broken by very persistant people but for the most people and the average Joe they will not have the technology or skills to be able to do it. You shouldnt have to run a DVD via a series of hardware and hacked drivers just to be able to play it where you want. Besides with the "key" system the studios just block it and then the work-around is rendered useless.

I don't really smoke at all, its a horrible habit! However I do smoke cigars sometimes at very special occasions such as a wedding. I have also been known to accept the odd cigarette if a particularly hot girl offers one (even though i find smoking incredibly unattractive lol) because i'm usually quite drunk at the time. I don't really want to discuss what's bad or good about weed so i'll leave it at that.
