  1. No, but you do need the slayer facemask.
  2. Yes That is right. Quote from the quest guide: You have three cooling choices. 1. If you have ice gloves, get them from the bank. If you don't, go get them from the ice queen through the same way you did in Heroes' Quest. Drop the cake and pick it up while wearing your ice gloves. The cake will cool down. 2. You can also pick the hot rock cake with gauntlets, go to ice mountain and kill an Icefiend to cool the cake, or drop it on top of ice mountain and pick it up to cool it. 3. If you are not in a rush, you can also just wait for the cake to cool. It will take some time, though.
  3. I usually get alot from the Temple Trekking mini-game.
  4. Ice gloves are the only thing that will work. Read here:http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=2063

I agree, since Jagex nerfed em they are not worth trouble anymore. I used to kill about 50 or so in a single trip, now I can do about 15 or so.
  6. The only ladder you can escape from is the same ladder you went down on originally, and yes you do take damage when rocks fall on you. Thats why most people just telly out after oppening chest.
  7. I can help with 1 thing, using a cannon is not about exp but about making the tasks faster. Cannon xp is 1pt per damage or about 1/4 of normal range xp. So the xp you gain from using a cannon should be considered bonus xp.
  8. During the quest you will meet a gnome at the end of a cave that is full of zombie monkeys and the roof falls on you. He can make greegrees for you. He will tell you what to do. But basically: You need the bones of a monkey or gorilla and a talisman, which you can buy in the monkey island market. 1 set of bones for each talisman. he uses the bones and the talisman to make a greegree.
  9. For a mid level guy the set might be good, but for an high level character the set effects could be offset by items like Helm of Neitiznot, barrows gloves, etc.
  10. K Will try it out Well I went to try it out and the first time it had the toggle button to turn it off. D'oh !
  11. I understand the principle of how he works. After you visit the location several times you can have the option of turning the warning off. But I have crossed the wildy ditch hundreds of times since he came out and have yet to be able to turn the warning off. Although I have done it through out different log-ins. Does it have to be a certain number of times on the same log-in? or what?
  12. Karamja and Brimhaven that I know of, maybe Musa Point too.
  13. I'm guessing you are thinking of a bought skill; i.e. A skill you can buy materials to train. Cooking: Easy but VERY common Construction: Expensive but VERY rare Crafting: Can be expensive but very profitable Firemaking: Easy and almost as common as Cooking Fletching: Easy and same as Cooking, but now easier Herblore: Expensive and rare, but profitable Prayer: Expensive but rare Smithing: Expensive and rare but profitable These examples are debatable but you get the picture.
  14. If the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
  15. Everyone I know who got it has already dumped it. They said it was not worth price, better to sell than keep.
  16. If you are ranging BEHIND sumthing it WILL NOT work. It needs a clear line of site to your target to retreive your ranged items.
  17. Not for Staking or for PKing. But everyday uses. Killing and PC, etc etc.
  18. Look here, info provided by Tip.It: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=isafdar_arandar.htm BTW Her name is Ilfeen
  19. I would recommend Full Dharoks with Whip, DDS and Defender. A few Restores and Sharks.
  20. People have asked Jagex about bringing that guy back. He hinted that he might in the future. People were hopeful that the Varrock update would include him, but no such luck.

The xp is low but money making is the way to go. Just plain vials sell for about 100 ea. Water filled vials or WF vials or WFV sell for about 250ea. Unpowered orbs sell for about 1k ea. I get my sand, seaweed and soda ash from the Charter boat guys. I aslo get buckets of sand from the guy in the Sand in the Hand quest. And occasionally fill buckets with sand in the pit next to that guys house. Then I use the Superglassmake Lunar spell to make molten glass.
  22. It would draw them away. But the suicider would die fast then the other kings would target on you.
  23. I like the barrows idea. You can also just go into the crypts WITHOUT touching the crypts and see what people wear and how they fight the brothers before trying it out yourself. Once you learn to Barrows , you will learn ways to save money/items so your trips are less costly and make more money/items.
  24. A suicider is someone who runs through the room drawing the monsters away from you or toward you. Personally I think it would be INSANE to try to solo at the Dag Kings.
  25. You can build 2nd floors and even a basement or dungeon.
