The F2P General Discussion Thread
I found a way to fit a sig in 10 images :) The trick is to use a monospaced font for the numbers instead of having them as pictures. Here's an example I created quickly, it's ugly but it works somehow: 81 81 81 82 76 79 64 63 66 68 76 67 85 70 64 65 It uses 7 images. Of course you could not use the borders (which don't seem to work properly anyway) and have just the skill icons and levels, in which case only two images are needed: 81 81 81 82 76 79 64 63 66 68 76 67 85 70 64 65 The main problems with these are that different browsers may show them differently, and you must have the font I used (Courier New) or they probably won't look right.

^ Indeed, hopefully I'll get Ardougne teleport soon (for quick access to fourth farming patch especially) I think I'll be able to do Heroes' Quest today, I only need 1 fishing level (which I can boost with fish pie) and 3 mining levels (or 2 with dwarven stout) now =) And I reached 100 quest points ^_^

Top 250 F2P Skill Total List
That could work, but it would be a ton of work and it wouldn't be possible to check xp

22-Nov-2011 - RuneScape Revolution v3 & Anti-Gold Farming Measures V2
Did anyone else notice that you only need level 15 to get into hiscores now? Oh, and new adventurer's log sucks (though I like the fact that it has a list of your highest skills now) and I'd like to see all my hiscores without scrolling. And where are the arrows on hiscore compare now, the ones that show which player is better? I don't really have anything bad to say about new game interface. Nothing good, either, though. The change was completely useless.

Go get Rune Kiteshield(I am merching it on G.E, hihi) also get yourself the rune scimitar, until you hit 60 att :) Nice progress! Well fire giants drop both kiteshield and scimitar, but I need a full inv of lobsters to kill just a few (that was with addy armor though) -.- But maybe I could get 40+ ranged and then use that

Thanks a lot! I managed to get a second rune med during the same task, but I think I'll buy a berserker helm anyway. (got 60k cash quickly by stealing slayer staffs from HAM members, so I have 140k now!) That is pretty neat!! If I've understood it right, everything you do, you need to do on your self? No donations, no G.E, nothing at all. All purely done by you? Must be fun, but requires a lot more work tho Yes, you understood it right :) And yes, some things require a ton of work (such as getting items for emote clues -.-)

Quest of the day I also decided to finally get a milestone cape. Construction was boring, Hunter was annoying, but at least Summoning was quick and easy (I've been buying raw chicken from Canifis every time I go there, so I had more than enough for dreadfowl pouches) I reached 1m total xp, too! :)

15-Nov-2011 - Coming Next Week: New Website!
I don't like this update at all. I first became a member around 5 years ago, and it was only because I had already played the F2P game and liked it. After the bot nuke, we have all seen that the F2P game is not really popular at all; almost all currently playing players are P2P, while I expected it to be more like 50/50. What Jagex really needs right now is more F2P players, most of which will eventually become members, if they find the free game interesting. Removing free features we've had for 10 years doesn't help at all. About F2P being a demo - I don't really see it as a demo, but more like a base for the members' game. The only thing which keeps the game alive is the stable flow of free players to members, and if that base is destroyed (which seems to be Jagex' current plan), the whole game will eventually collapse from the lack of paying members. Considering that RS doesn't exactly have a good reputation, most people would never even touch it if they couldn't try it for free. About the hiscores themselves - I've always liked them. I've found it quite fun to see my ranks slowly rise ever since I first got on the hiscores (@ lvl 31 firemaking in late '05), but hiscores aren't completely necessary for me. I guess that most of the high level players - especially the free players, who can attract a lot of new players to the game, even though they pay nothing themselves - wouldn't have played for so long without the competition the hiscore lists offer, though. And to those "no pay no say" guys: think about it like this. Your friend gives you a birthday present, something you really like, for example a new video game. After enjoying it for a while, he demands you to give it back. Would you really just be quiet and do as he says because you didn't pay anything for the game in the first place? tl;dr: I pay, and I say that hiscores should be free.
