  1. Well, in all likelihood, North Korea kicks the hell out of Scandinavia's army. They have a pretty damn good army, and every man women and child will fight to the death, they won't surrender. Oh, and they probably have nukes now, and since they completely ignore all international rules on nukes anyway, they still do in the game.
  2. Exosuits should not cost 250 grand. That's the cost of like 3 javelin missiles. Atleast a few million.
  3. Umm guys, Catalonia is part of Spain, basically. That's where Barcelona is...
  4. Sere, they said that same thing about computers after WWII. There are always improvements. For example, replacing the cannon with a railgun, or coil gun, or some other higher powered weapon. Making stronger, lighter armor (nanofiber), better active defense systems, and so on.
  5. First part of Project Scatter is complete. The second part will do the following: Better firing system *increased range* Improved cooling system *longer firing time, less cooldown* More powerful munitions *bigger booms* Decreased loading time *better rpm* Increased Armor *self explanatory* Also, project digger has begun.
  6. It's not a specific nation project. Project M should be done in two years, since it's borderline done in real life. Doesn't almost everyone having a super tank kinda defeat the purpose? But sure, why not. I can put in 5 billion and then donate oil or iron.
  7. Well, Angola shares some Portuguese culture, so I figure it's the most logical place for me to go. Project M and Project A have begun. An unprecedented amount of funding (10b+ into each) will ensure their success, where in real life they failed.
  8. The scientists at Sola-Tec have finished development on Nanofiber based Solar panels. This will make them more expensive, but much more efficient and durable. They are currently only for military use, and they can be packed into a military truck, and then deployed. Another similar invention is a deploy-able wall that is essentially a nanofiber curtain about an inch thick, that is draped over a tall wall of sandbags, concrete, or even dirt to make it a quickly constructable wall. Smaller versions have been made into tents that can be packed into backpacks, and give some shrapnel and light bullet protection. An invention to go along with the deployable solar panels is a mobile water electrolysis device, allowing creation of hydrogen on the battlefield. This also fits in with Project Scatter, though that's still a secret.
  9. The second Panama canal is finished. This will allow more trade between the two coasts of South America, without having to worry about treacherous roads. This will also allow more trade to go to the west coast of the US from Europe/Africa, or more from Asia to the East coast. A new invention by the creators of Hydraus allows cheaper creation of Hydrogen, and makes owning a car cheaper. [hide=World Map]img]http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/7292/worldmapg.png[/img][/hide] Brazil has leased a portion of the Angolan shoreline for construction of a massive naval facility. Further talks have begun with Angola, promising them protection from the Abyssinians.
  10. If we want to be more complicated, we should have people choose how all the tax money is spent. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:U.S._Federal_Spending_-_FY_2007.png That's the US's. But I doubt everyone wants to keep track of all that.
  11. Well then you had the option to pick a more powerful country. You picked your country, you can't complain now. And India could eventually, but not immediately.
  12. No, it's just ridiculous that all your people work for free, and then you expect the quality of your stuff to be the same as before. Why would someone go to college for like 8 years when they could expect the same quality of life if they just finished high school? And the excuse of patriotism or nationalism is just stupid Plus the fact that you're telling us we need to spend 40 days researching something you spent like 2 years on.
  13. Ok, I give Angola some guns, the conquer the rest of africa in under 6 months, then I give them 12 billion in gold, in exchange for infinite resources.
  14. Which you get for free from a trade agreement you made with yourself. Actually I get them in exchange foe 400 tonnes of Gold...so its not really free as such... so 50b+ materials a year in exchange for a one time payment of 13b?
  15. Which you get for free from a trade agreement you made with yourself.
  16. That assumes the price of silver was the same in that year.
  17. Not really, it's more realistic that way. That link you posted a while back about future GDP's has china increasing at 8% a year, which makes sense as it comes to use it's massive population and all. GDP will obviously increase over time, with population growth and better quality of life.
  18. Here's all you need for population too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_past_and_future_population You can adjust it slightly too for any changes you've put into place.
  19. We're just disputing your income. 8% is an absurd growth rate. Also, I did the math for my country/SATO. Population: 441,645,000 GDP: 5.8 trillion GDP/Capita=~ 14,000
  20. Giving them money will only put your country into debt, and it won't help raise their financial statuses. Considering you're in the most developed area of the world, giving them money would do even less. Your economic growth rate should literally be the lowest out of all of us, except maybe the federation.
  21. I increased at 10% per year for like two years, due to massive trade reforms, the founding of SATO, legalization of most drugs and so on. It slowed down dramatically after that though. It went down to 5%, and is now increasing at 3-4% annually.
  22. He means his tax income is higher than his 2009 gdp. And hes saying its not that big an increase... In other news Scandinavians revolt for having almost half their money taken by the government.
