  1. Just putting this out there, 1 billion missiles=anywhere from 5-500 trillion $. 500 trillion is around 8 times the GDP of earth. I think that's a little overpowered if it can do that. How is it even powered? 1 billion lasers powerful enough to take out a missiles would be expensive to fire.
  2. Just Pmed all my stats for space to Archi, as well as the system I use for calculating how much I can produce. Oh, and cameras that will send data to a command center for processing are being placed in abandoned cities and land all around the Americas. If any human forms are detected, we can respond. They will have thermal settings as well, so detection will be easy. This will be finished in 5 years. Advanced water filtration techniques are being researched, as well as techniques for detecting even trace amounts of poison in water. Another 5 years.
  3. I'm guessing me and indy have the biggest fleets now, since we have been building it for 35 years off planet. It's a minimum of 9 or 10 years away though.
  4. Alright I guess the fact that I have orbital defenses that I told you about in PM wasn't made clear enough, so we'll just pretend they were somewhere else at the time. I might not have specified the #'s, but in total they would be: 14 Production/semi-battle stations, 3 Battlestations 250 anti ship satellites (way bigger than helios spheres For ease, we can pretend that they weren't there, but they still prevented firing on the Americas. So no forests on fire, or lack of basic icbm countermeasures. But other than that we can just pretend they didn't exist, since I doubt you want to redo the whole thing *again*. Also, construction of my fleet is going well. Started 1 month and 3 days ago (I can post a pm once I'm done with it all for proof)The system they're in is 480 lightyears away, with my entire fleet there including a ton of ships designed to deploy into production stations. Indy's entire space efforts were going there as well.
  5. I sent it a while ago, (week?) and I wasn't doing anything in space this turn. That argument's invalid though. It's not like I can drive a tank to some foreign nation's capital and fire a shell before dying.
  6. It's not about intercepting the shot itself, it's stopping whatever shot it from getting there in the first place. They can't shoot around the curvature of the earth.
  7. Also, how did a few hundred stealth ups manage to break into a minimum of 12 Habitats, and poison everyone. Habitats are hundreds of miles away from eachother. Very few are near the coast. Why would 4 million soldiers run into landmines? It's not like you see your mate charge into a field and explode and keep on going. I can see a few thousand, maybe up to 100 before someone decided "Hey, let's go around" or "Hey, let's use 90 year old technology to clear this minefield" No orbital vessels fired on the bering strait. That is covered by my orbital defenses, which I've mentioned in PM's to you before Archi.
  8. Or maybe religions all turned out somewhat similar because we're all human? No one wants to be killed, and they set rules. Whether as laws, or commandments.
  9. I'd sit on a hill looking into the sky, with a loved one holding my hand as we watched the end of all things.
  10. What are you giving up by denying other religions? Just as much. I'm just as happy without god. It makes me depressed that if there were some holy creator of the universe he would only accept people who did good deeds because they were threatened to (see: Hell), or were afraid to think for themselves.
  11. I personally like the definition of a pixel as done solely in MS paint. Pixel by pixel is a bit much, occasionally you use the fill or line tool.
  12. Uh, no. Schizophrenia is hereditary (I think). They hear voices. Does that mean the voices are real?
  13. Ok. I don't see why this is such a hard concept. Let's say there's a type of bug that only lives under a certain type of rock in a certain place. That rock isn't there because the bug is, the bug is there because the rock is. Earth just happened to have all the right qualities for life. If it didn't, we would be on a different planet that could, arguing about why Planet Ragnart is the only planet with life on it.
  14. I'm in a christian country. I see Christians drinking, smoking, having pre-marital sex, selling drugs, killing people, and so on. I've heard Christians say that we should just nuke the middle east and be done with it.
  15. No, although Allah means God most Muslims will argue that they are not the same. Also the God of Jews is NOT the god of Christians. They do not believe in the Son of God and we do. Oh and trust me, Islam is built on hypocracy. This i can tell you as a certain fact. How is Islam built on hypocrisy? Just saying it means nothing. All three are Abrahamic religions. Jews believe the messiah has yet to come Christians believe the messiah has already come Muslims believe that Jesus wasn't the messiah. They do believe that Jesus was a prophet, just not the final prophet of god.
  16. Islam isn't anymore hypocritical than Christianity. Buddhism is a religion. I think you might be thinking of Confucianism, that's more of a way of life. EDIT: Rocco, if god answered his prayers, then allah did to. The judaist, christian and islamic gods are one and the same. In fact, Islam believes that Jesus was a prophet, just not the final prophet.
  17. Just one question. Why are you Christian, instead of Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindi, etc.
  18. That's not a flaw. Is there any part of atheism that says "thou shalt not debate" No. Because there is no official text.
  19. I think we can draw a line under this. It's not interesting anymore. Hah, i'm making it sound like Christianity is a sham. as a last thought i would like to add this: Even though i admit that christianity has its flaws (be it because of my lack in understanding or because some of it just doesn't add up), it is not the only theory or religion with flaws. Islam is a religion full of flaws (i have witnessed the islam religion first hand, and i still am), Athiesm has its flaws and so does the Big Bang theory and Judaism (sp?). So like i said, it might have its flaws but its that bed time story i call a Bible that has helped me though hell and back. Name one flaw or contradiction in atheism.
  20. Without any propaganda millions of Brazilians are signing up for the army. For the first time in over 100 years the Brazilian army's ranks have swelled past the 3 million mark. We're also putting more security systems into place inside habitats. In order to use the trains you now need to identify your self retinally, and with a swipe card. And you need to get the ticket atleast 1 week (game time) in advance. We are also starting to give our people the genetic enhancements that help protect them against poisons and diseases that we gained with the acquisition of the Terran Federation. Also, Terran crop sprays are also being used to increase food production.
  21. Ok, the ship should take a while to get from Capiah to Sega Res. In the meantime, retech can build a defense.
  22. Of course not. Sere, don't disagree just because you don't want him to have an advantage. And peace treaty is boring. We never said we'd agree, and we decided against it internally.
  23. EDIT: Whoops Also, helios spheres would be around earth, nowhere near where the battle was, since you can't come out of warp near a solar system. Whatever though. Brazilian fleet is still being built up in our system designed solely for mass ship production. Naval production continues at max capacity. Project ANDY roles on.
