When you download the fonts, it comes in a zip. Unzip it to your fonts folder, it should work.

I'd submit a landscape animation, but at 1600x1200 it would take at least a week to render.

The quality is too low, I suggest you add a border as I and many others think it looks better. Also adding a stroke around the text would help. Keep working and you'll get better.
