The US corrections system is now placing microchips in undisclosed areas of inmates' bodies. The US is following Britain's lead and has enacted the death penalty in place of life sentences. The death penalty is much needed for serious offenders because the US prisons system is overpopulated as it is. Lethal injection will be used, of course. ICE is stepping up its anti-illegal immigration measures.

The UN is not invading Switzerland unless the Swiss government attacks the harmless embargo that has been placed against it. The UN continues the embargo since it has nothing to fear from Switzerland. If planes are shot down, it will be considered an act of war against the global community. If Switzerland is self-sufficient, then it shouldn't mind the embargoes anyway. :rolleyes: Countries have their armed forces on standby in order to respond to any hostile threat.

Romania has requested to the UN that it be paid compensation, from Switzerland, for the loss of its murdered peacekeeping force. Some other countries (not necessarily the majority) have suggested that international forces be sent into Switzerland in order to forcibly extradite King Archi for war crimes.

The UN has voiced their concerns over the use of chemical weapons several times in the past. With the Swiss government's refusal to abolish illegitimate weapons, the international sanctions continue. Unless the Swiss government gives up these weapons (which have had a ridiculous case made in favor of them by the Swiss government, cite the Geneva Treaty of 2009), Switzerland will find itself alienated from the rest of the world.

Like I said, the international community is currently investigating this incident. If found that Switzerland was acting purely out of self-defense and that the Romanian troops were out of line, then the charges will be dropped. Instead, we will only place sanctions against Switzerland for their use of chemical weapons. If Switzerland abolishes the use of chemical weapons (and also swears to never use biological weapons), then the UN and NATO will withdraw their sanctions against the Swiss government, IF it is also found out that the Swiss government isn't guilty for the bloodshed linked to the Suez Crisis.

Then it must have been a faux pas on your military's part. There were reports of Russian soldiers firing on Romanian peacekeepers. There are currently investigations into this incident to see whether or not Moscow played part in the foul play. If Russia's found to be innocent, the international community will formally apologize and remove the sanctions.

Switzerland still pissed off people with the whole chemical warfare bit. ;)

Italy breaks off all talks with the Swiss government and embargoes both Switzerland and Russia. NATO embargoes Switzerland and Russia. NATO proposes that all account holders remove their holdings from Swiss accounts immediately. The UN, being angered by Switzerland's war crimes, approves unanimously sanctions against the Swiss and Russian governments. A blockade has been formed in order to control what goes in and comes out of Switzerland. Also, every NATO country and every member of the UN has placed an embargo against Russia and Switzerland.

To be honest, it seems kind of vain to dam up the Suez Canal. I mean, we have hypersonic jets in real life that can take people from New York to Sidney in 5 hours. This isn't the 19th century where damming up the Suez Canal could drastically harm trade.

The USA, Germany, China, and Japan are not aware of the spies that are being trained in Russia.

Russia sends spies into the USA all the time. *shrugs* The ruling nationalist party is having a very tough stance against spies. Spies will be brought before a panel of judges and will be tried, in accordance with the Constitution. Dusty: An NPC country needs someone to state events that are tied in with it. Otherwise, there are no events happening around the globe, and the game becomes dull. Furthermore, this game does need a moderator who is in control of these events (without rolling or any crap like that) who actually has a fair bit of knowledge about global events and history, with group moderation to supplement him. Otherwise, the massive land grabs will continue, and we will have no worldwide events to react to. If anyone disagrees with the actions that I, as a moderator, make, feel free to vote on the subject. There has to be someone to keep the idiocy level down.
