  1. It must suck to live in Atlantis. You find out that your best friend had sex with your girlfriend and go to bed depressed. You wake up the next morning, and then you look up at the sky and notice that there's an armada of ships firing at you. Then you're just like, "Come oooonnnnn!" @Archi: I'll try to finish the Vanessa story for you later today. It's 2:06 PM at the moment. By the way, do you want me to give one more flashback that describes her childhood, and then talk briefly about the city? (few paragraphs)
  2. I think some American actors are going to be in the movie as well. It probably will be shown in Australia and the United States.
  3. Why not China? They're pretty maxed out as well and hold enough military might to really stand a chance. A smaller country would probably still need allies to help them, and Australia would most likely be aided by the United States, Britain, and some commonwealth states during the outbreak of war. Plus, China is easier to demonize and make into a bad guy.
  4. My grandpap always advocated that there is no such thing as a free lunch. He believed firmly that if you don't work, you don't eat. Jagex is making a horrible example for businesses everywhere. They aren't abiding by the "no free lunch" policy. Instead, they are advocating communism and a degenerative society. Just giving things away isn't a good idea. It causes people to expect more things that they didn't earn; it's selfish and disgusting. Simply put: If Jagex don't work on Christmas and New Years', they ain't gonna eat.
  5. Well of course some things would be plausible. Sci-fi is usually based on things that can possibly happen. For example, in Avatar, they used humanoid vehicles. We actually have that technology in real life. I'm pretty sure the US military has that stuff but hasn't mass-produced them yet. Hell, the US military is creating exoskeleton battle armor. In real life we even have cloaking devices (although they can't totally make something invisible yet). Real life exosuit. This one was developed in Japan, and it costs $20,000 to purchase one. It isn't military-grade, but it drastically increases one's strength, detects electronic signals and processes them before the muscles do, and it will be used in order to enable paralyzed people to move. In other words, it's a good idea to have one of these things lying around whenever a foreign country invades your country so you can grab some bullet-proof armor and a rifle and go out to kill those sons of [bleep]es. EDIT: I'm not taking part in this silly Stargate argument. I just needed an excuse for posting this stuff.
  6. I scanned through. I personally think you should Americanize the spellings. savour -> savor millimetres -> convert into US customary system -> ...OR change it to millimeters. If it's a government body or agency, they are more likely to use the metric system. If it's a common, everyday person, they will definitely refer to measurements in inches. 1inch = 2.5cm It looks like a good story, though. Headmaster -> principal
  7. Anyway... Militopian games. Whoo-hoo!
  8. BREAKING NEWS! TRAGEDY STRIKES CANADIAN HOME WORLD At 11:00 AM this morning, the rogue planet Nibiru passed by Canada, creating catastrophic earthquakes and floods. The death toll currently is 20,064,489. God save us all! ----------------------------- It appears that the C.S.S. Longcat is on its own.
  9. That sounds about right.
  10. The next Militopian Games will take place in New London, Britanniae in the Sega-Res system. Aether is providing security, and the Royal Guard will be used as well. The games will feature the lighting of the Torch and military parades.
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Icke#Reptilians_and_shape-shifting Epic.
  12. ^ Honestly, who believes this [cabbage]?
  13. Well, it's 12:55 AM for me, you vamp. \:D/

Don't forget to use an alcohol pad when cleaning it after you pop a zit.
  17. OK, time for some jargon updates. "Lady Britannia" - Personification of the nation of Britannia "Britannic Federation" - Alternative name that's used for the nation of Britannia "Britannian Empire" - Common name that's used for the nation of Britannia "Britannic Republic" - Alternative name that's used for the nation of Britannia "drake" - a species found on Tartarus "hell-worm" - a big [wagon] worm/serpent that's found on Tartarus "Annwn" or "Annwyn" - creepy isle that's found near Terra; has misty hills "banshee" - scary animal found on Annwyn.
  18. Gotta build a stadium at one point I guess. If going by Archi's system, the winner gets to host, which makes sense. (And he said I was the one to host the next games anyway.)
  19. Okay, census time. Britanniae: 3.18 billion Kajea: 2.5 billion Eden: 210 million Unoph: 75 million Gaia: 20 million Astrum: 70 million Federation of Wet Realms: 203 million (distributed among two planets / mermaid population) Growth rate is about 1.5%. It has gone down from 2.2%. However, the death rate is also low. Very low. Human population: 6.055 billion Mermaid population: 203 million @Doom: I'm pretty sure the winner of the Militopian games gets to host. That would be me. However, I will let you know if for some reason I decide to not host the next games.
  20. It is a part of our aforementioned New Eden project, and it will greatly benefit our future Genesis Project. Don't worry, it will create life (not destroy it!!). Attached with our message is an image of what we hope to achieve.
  21. Archi, can I have some data on how to bring asteroids into orbit via explosions?
  22. Project New Eden has commenced. Haven and the Britannian Space Agency are sending a large task force to Hell's Gate. This project will open up many new jobs.
  23. Mather, what directions are you probes going? Anyway, Haven just got some messages and images back from our new base.
