Returning to Runescape after about a year break...Anything new?
I still play a little bit, but I'm slowly quitting because it just isn't as fun for me anymore. Anyway, most Castle War worlds are empty. There's like only a few worlds dedicated to it now (if that). A new game called Soul Wars replaced Castle Wars. Poor good ol' Castle Wars. :( So yeah, the game is very different from what it used to be. A lot of people adapted to it, and a lot of people quit. I personally got used to the trade restrictions, but it does suck. There aren't really any bots anymore, though.

Cool. Now you won't notice the big solar flare that's going to hit us.

They still didn't show that goddamned ball at Times Square. Now I'm a little pissed.

The wild doesn't exist as we knew it. It is in the game, but you can't PK there anymore. There are a few servers dedicated to PvP. You can PK virtually anywhere on those worlds, but it isn't as fun, and it caused massive inflation. Dharok sets are about 10M each now due to inflation. Armadyl Godswords were 60M last summer, but now they're back up to 125M. Some fun quests were released, but RS is still very boring. Prices all went to hell because they're inflated up very high. It's easy to make gold, but yeah, it's not worth much. 30M isn't even considered a lot anymore. Nats aren't very profitable anymore. They are like 200gp each, and pure essence costs well over 100gp each. You can't run laws on world 66 anymore cause of some trade limits.

What the [bleep] happened to the New Years' Ball dropping at Times Square? Times Square had a live broadcast on television, but it went off before showing the ball drop. What the hell? I wanna see the 2010 ball drop goddammit. :(

Which is why I chose to not use the PP system. Archi knows more about this, of course. Everything I do is based off of creativity and put together like a storyline. @Archi: Are you ready to do the Q&A on Vanessa?

Best memories of the Millennial Decade would be the introduction of new technology. Worst memories would be the Bush Presidency.

Do you (sub)consciously avoid talking to unattractive people?
I can be very judgmental at times, but it's more based on personality and stuff. I don't really base stuff on how attractive they are. If they have a negative personality (idiotic acting, annoying, "preppy", etc.) I avoid them. In large groups, I avoid everyone except maybe some close friends at school. When in smaller groups, I'm a lot more social. We have a lot of stereotypical and stupid kids at school, so I avoid them. For example, probably half of the kids are black, and they just happen to be stereotypical. They adhere to all of the stereotypes that people have for their group. They are extremely rude. They act like idiots. They do drugs. They are in gangs. They don't want to learn, etc. However, not all of them are like that. For example, there's a black girl in one of my classes that's actually a smart, cute, and pleasant person. I'll socialize with her because she's a good person to socialize with. There are also a lot of whorish girls (in high school, they are called "preps"). They are some of the most vicious and most vile people that I've ever met. Some of them might talk with me and stuff, but I actually despise them and try to stay away from their crap. I also don't trust them because of their nature. Then you have people that are a little too odd.... One girl is unattractive and claims to be pregnant by a vampire. (She's one of those Twilight fanatics. The ones that are "slightly" demented.) Actually, when I look at it all in retrospect, I live in a very typical high school. I hate it, and I can't wait for university in the next few months. :) But yeah, I prefer to hang around people that I am comfortable around, people that aren't very judgmental and actually have a shred of intelligence. I'd much rather date some girl that's smart than date a girl with big [bleep].

A small, but growing religious movement has taken root. The Elysian Temple was created by the followers of the religion. They advocate scientific exploration, and they teach a doctrine of hope and love. "And when he has brought forth and reared this perfect virtue, he shall be called the friend of god, and if ever it is given to man to put on immortality, it shall be given to him." "A trace of godhood resides within all of us. One, by His will, can tap into the collective consciousness and become His vessel."

Hardened criminals are exiled to self-sufficient prison colonies. The streets of Britannia are all safe and clean. People are treated fairly.

My Economic but Cool running desktop = win
That seems like it would cost more energy, to be honest.

Nah, we have a humane system for dealing with criminals (even hardened ones) that doesn't involve mutilation or torture. It doesn't involve death, and it costs us a lot less than it would if we had prisons built all over our land.

New Year Message - 31-Dec-2009
The male avatar sucks. I sometimes change my avatar to female and play like that for a while, then I change it back. The male avatar just doesn't have as much variety to it, and the shaping sucks.

Claws of Guthix
Alright, thanks. :) I figure that it would have an extremely high accuracy on the barrows brothers, so I should still profit even though it costs about 900gp per cast, right?

Claws of Guthix
Is it really useful for anything? I just got it and Flames of Zamorak today, and I'm 99 magic. I'm maxed melee as well, but I was wondering if it's useful to use it for barrows or anything like that. I'm just looking for a fun, useful, alternate method that incorporates the spell. I know that I need to get a Void Mace in order to really get any staff bonuses from it. Anyway, another question. The max hit with Claws of Guthix with Charge spell, a magic potion, and the voidknight mace is 37, correct?

This Year's Scare
Eh, my e-mail's registered with my account anyway. If this many people were hacked and lost their account, you bet your [wagon] that Jagex would intervene and do a roll-back + password reset (and e-mail your password to you if you are registered). They would likely do something because that's a huge revenue loss. And I bet his site installs a keylogger onto your computer. It makes sense. He lures people onto his site by having a list, and people cause a self-fulfilling prophecy because they log onto their character with a keylogger. Thus, they get hacked. I highly suggest that a mod immediately remove the link, and if people want to check the list, run a google search or something. Don't actually enter the site, though.

Is my name on the list? Just wondering.
