  1. I created the image on Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0. It was pretty easy until I found out that Elements doesn't have Blending Options as a right-click option on layers like CS3/4 has. It took me about 10 minutes looking through Google and on Adobe's support site until I could find the tool that I needed for applying a stroke to text. Enjoy.
  2. Non-LS worlds, since these tasks would be soloed. Those are far easier to find then LS worlds. Also, these special tasks don't have to be given as an option every Black dragon/Dag/Kalphite task. Maybe only 10% of the time. Then they are rare enough to avoid a bottle neck, but are an option still. If you don't chose to accept the special task the first time, you can choose it the 2nd time that monster is assigned. Still, it'd be pretty difficult to find a spot. People still use non-LS worlds for boss-hunting (especially KBD), and these areas would only become even more packed if the monsters were part of bonus tasks from Kuradel. Things such as Bork, the Phoenix, and Jad are possible for bonus tasks, since they are all instanced.
  3. I've had worse. A friend was being an idiot as usual and threw a chunk of concrete in my direction. I thought he was going to miss, so I didn't move or flinch. BAM! It hit my elbow and blood started gushing out. When I went to the ER, they just scanned my elbow for fractures, gave me a tetanus shot, slapped Neosporin on my elbow, and wrapped it up with a single bandaid and told me to go home. My mom went to the same ER after a limb-cutting blade (for trees) hit her head after she lost grip over the pole. It put a nasty gash in her head, and they just slapped Neosporin on her head and told her to go home. Then again, they were probably just being lazy bastards.
  4. It still has most everything that I need. :P The only difference is that I can't find the history brush, and the program looks different from normal Photoshop CS. @Ross: One of my little cousins got Super Mario Bros. Wii, too! It's funny when you're playing it because the monsters look like they're dancing when it makes that "hhaaahh" sound.
  5. It appears that I was wrong about my Christmas gifts. Here's a corrected list of my 'loot': -Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 -Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0 -Wal-Mart gift card ($25) -iTunes gift card ($25) -Aeropostale gift card ($25) -Dolce & Gabbana cologne -Dolce & Gabbana after-shave -Comforter set -New desk I'd say it's been a pretty nice Christmas. I've enjoyed my time with my family and cousins. I'm also really liking Photoshop and the new cologne.
  6. Photoshop. I just got Photoshop Elements 7.0 for Christmas, and I'm excited! I've been trying to create myself a new signature for the past few hours, and I think I'm getting close to finishing it! I'll probably get really into this stuff once I can master the program. I also got Adobe Premiere Elements 7 for Christmas, so I'll probably make videos and edit them once I get around to learning how to use the program. Merry Christmas! (By the way, if anyone who knows a lot about Photoshop can help me with an issue when trying to apply text to a layer, please PM me so we can find out what I'm doing wrong. The text doesn't appear on the layer when I go to the text tool and type something in. I did it earlier and it worked, but I was messing around with warped text tool and it disappeared. Thanks.)
  7. Why were they in your trench coat in the first place? Sounds awfully suspicious. . .
  8. [bleep], please not Candleja*k!!! Oh God, he's bac- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJYcNtqi4ec
  9. I haven't gotten any gifts yet, but I know some things that I'm getting: -New comforter set for my bed (very much needed) -New, longer desk for my room (old one was the cheap kind and was tearing apart because it is like 15 years old) -Adobe Photoshop + Adobe Premiere -Aeropostale gift card I'll probably get a few iTunes cards in addition to the stuff I know that I'm getting. I want an iMac, but I probably won't get one right now. College is about to become a reality in a manner of months, and I've reached the age where I don't care as much about what I get for Christmas anymore. Spending time with family is what I care about, really. In about 6 hours, we are leaving in order to go visit my Mom's family. I can't wait.
  10. It's from Beowulf, yes. I should probably purchase a programme such as Rosetta Stone and review some lessons every night. OT: Didn't realise that you were a Quebecer. :o OT2: By the way, what language is that phrase in your sig again?
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_French_words_and_phrases_used_by_English_speakers#C I do not draw where the line between genius and madness lies, I only push those I suspect towards it. Eh, consider it. TFed police and military are more then adequate to keep in line the people, keep that in mind. For some reason, that reminded me to look up Anglo-Saxon (Old English). Here's some random sentence in Anglo-Saxon: Hwæt! wē Gār-Dena in geār-dagum http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_English -- I think it's pretty interesting to read about. --------- @Grim: Haha, same here. Only three kids signed up for French III, so we were thrown into a French II class. Our teacher sucks at teaching, and she spends most of her time helping the French II kids. I haven't taken a French class since 10th grade, so I need someone to help me remember some things. It's so pitiful that when we had a Russian substitute that happened to be fluent in French, she was extremely angry because no one taught us some basic grammar dealing with "ce qui", "ce que", and "ce dont". She's right, though. The school system (hell, even the national level) is pitiful. It embarrasses the hell out of me because my French is lacking.
  12. Hmm. I will consider it, Dusty. I'll just escort my athletes with members of the Royal Guard, which is guaranteed to not cause any riots, if I participate. They are well-trained and chivalrous military-style police officers. If need be, some of the Guardsmen can help maintain the games by keeping the possibility of riots at a bare minimum. Regardless, athletes are being trained for as many categories as possible.
  13. You still die. *shoots again* I shoot you with a machine gun until you're a pulp, mop you up, light your pulp on fire, and snort the ashes. Let's see you regenerate from that!
  14. BBC NEWS: Earlier this year, the Terran Federation has announced the first Annual Galactic Olympic Games to commence on the Federation's stronghold of Midgard. Decades ago, the Holy Britannian Empire and the Terran Federation waged war against each other over the mastery of Earth. Due to an intellectual movement and the disinterest in continuing a perceived 'endless' war, the Empire left Earth forever in order to pursue an improved life for Her citizens. An invitation has been received from the Terran Federation, Lady Britannia's former enemy, offering our Empire participation in the Olympics. However, hardliner Tories (some of them Veterans) are totally against the idea of having our youth travel to a nation that was once hostile against us. These veterans remember the horrors of the War and how it was widely thought to be the Apocalypse and that the Battle of Armageddon would take place within a year. Citizens remember the news footage on television that showed the Last Pilgrimage that took place in Terran-occupied Britain; millions of devout Christians poured into and around the Canterbury Cathedral. It is still unknown whether or not the Empire will participate in these Games.
  15. Hell, I could probably help build a stadium for the games.
  16. I think that obtaining enough money to buy a party hat off of level 1 clues would be pretty difficult. Some people are actually into farming level 1 clues. Allowed: Pickpocketing HAM members in order to quickly obtain level 1 clue scrolls. Disallowed: Using any other level of clue scroll and money-making method. Existing cash piles cannot be used. Every penny must be earned through clue farming.
  17. Nah, I wasn't looking for the picture, was just reading the information about the Olympic games of that year. Aight.
  18. Lulz, did I help you find the pic? By the way, Dusty, can you PM me the strength boosts from your previous Strength drugs? (p.e. You can lift a tank with Strength IV and so on.)
  19. The local area is Sol, correct?
  20. According to the official Jagex calendar, it will be somewhere after july. Where's the calendar?
  21. This. He's probably sacrificing more efficient space production, but as long as he's reasonable, it's his choice. --------------------
  22. Obviously the Petran Federation is far away from any Malaysian controlled space, and it's quite easy to just shoot down refugee ships.
  23. I think he's implying that he's cutting his other funds in order to fund his increased space fleet production. The new regime are obviously a bunch of despots.
