All you could see in the picture was his shoulders and his bare arms. Chain = bare arms, plate = covered arms. The shoulders were exactly like Dragon Chain and the only vaguely complicating factor was that people thought there weren't red shoulders on an untrimmed slayer cape... but there are. I wish everyone would stop speculating so wildly about the tiniest detail. Anywho, on topic, I haven't seen any hints for this big quest yet but I'm sure there will be something soon, maybe similar to the summoning icons on the mugs in the Development Diaries? I wasn't talking about the clan wars picture, I was talking about the banner on the runescape homepage :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: And anyway, way can't a plate have bare arms? Theres no rule about breaking trend. Don't forget about barrows, torags platebody, dh's platebody and guthans platebody all are plates but they don't cover the arms apart from the wrists and shoulder. well thats because Barrows armor is all old and gross and slimy... so no arms for them And why should the undead need arms anyways? There is a guy in the banner wearing a plate that looks the same but colored gray instead, that makes me thing its not a dragon plate [/hide] This is because the light isn't coming from behind, but from the front/side. Part of it is caught in its own shadow. Naturally, when something's not in the light, it's darker/loses coloring. It wouldn't look right if it was gleaming bright red.

Wow someone has a skewwed view on things. You must be a semi new runescape player too. The people that are complaining about not getting drops arent complaining about just that. The whole point is why lose something for nothing? If you have a chance to lose something, you should have a chance to gain something also. Before you claim people have 'skewwed view of things'... You do realize this is completely optional, right? Clan Wars isn't catered to you, but to everyone.

There are a MILLION different things in this game that "ftp deserves" but won't get because Jagex needs SOME sort of carrot to hold over the people in this game. Both of them are exactly right. What's so dull about the RC Minigame? It's one of my favorites. On to the firemaking, really, it could go either way... (in terms of P2P or F2P). Mainly I hope for an alternative method to training FM, not necessarily faster. Only time will tell.

Are these very effective, though? It's an interesting challenge, as well as a good guide, but I can't see this being very useful. 1 Defense and 10 hp? You'd be gone in a second. Still, it's a good guide. It was easy to understand.

Occasionally I'll pick up coins. However, most of the time I'm struggling on inventory space, and I'd rather a ruby or rune med than 400g. With bones, I only bury them if they're dragon. When you're -55 prayer, it's worth burying bones, but later on it makes so little difference, you might as well ignore them. And with herbs, I only pick them up if they're worth something, as the xp is so little it doesn't make much of a difference to me. Like others said, time is money.

So, after being inspired by a friend, I recently decided to go for a firecape. Not expecting to get one anytime soon, I figured it couldn't hurt... Well, the first try I actually made it to Jad. Unfortunately, the healers came and I started having trouble, and ended up getting ko'd. The second try I had gotten to wave 52. Then my street had a blackout. First ever since I've lived here the past year, too. :wall: Of all the times... So, deciding to give it one more go, I went in. I managed to make it to Jad again. Woohoo, no blackouts! Then... by some stroke of luck... Third time's a charm. [hide=] I rofl'd...So so hard. [bleep] ROFL!!! ORLYOWLLAWL I'm getting 70 myself (66 so farr) [/hide] Hahaha...

Seeing as PKing worlds are optional, anyone who goes there will be doing so by choice, similar to entering the wilderness in the past. PKing will be pretty much the same minus how the spoils are handled. So, it will probably be like it was then, and as far as I know, 'nerd', 'noob', and 'omg safer' weren't uncommon phrases.

Why do they annoy you? Is it because you're jealous they have a Quest Cape at 85 combat? Frankly I don't see any other reason why, unless you're stereotyping anyone with a Quest Cape at 85 combat. People who stereotype others annoy me. And in my opinion, "Honor fights" were something invented to stay alive. The wilderness is free for all, you take the risk going into multi. Sure, if you both agree on something, then fine. But quite frequently I ran into people calling me a "noob with no honor" just because they died. I mean, it's your fault for coming out here. Who says I have to fight by your rules? Too often I see people get called a noob for trying to stay alive (IE prayer, food, etc). Yet, here we are, insulting someone by saying they have no "honor" just because they won't follow your rules even though you took the risk of coming out here. You know the reason you're using this "honor" thing is so that you can stay alive; so you have a better chance. Want a better chance? Don't come here. No, I don't hate PKers; there's plenty good people. I dislike hypocrites. (I didn't mean this at you, but merely taking advantage of that statement to state my opinion)

Hehe, while I sensed some sarcasm in there, I'll still say it's not likely (on the ending every storyline bit). If they end every storyline, then they just lost a big part of the game. If there's any ending of a major storyline, it will most likely spawn off a new one. That, or the storyline changes focus.

Like they said, the reward will probably be based on the fight. If you kill someone who doesn't even fight back, you can't expect much reward. And even if they do, with a rubber chicken perhaps, I'm sure it will factor that in. Also, I'm sure the reward will drop significantly when you kill the same person again. Maybe you plan on RWTing, and kill the RWTer. Then, you kill him again. What's this? Where's my hefty reward like last time? Also, perhaps you kill someone who dies a lot on the PVP worlds (IE RWTers). I doubt that'll give much reward. So, if a RWT does this too often, before long they're a worthless kill.

I'm P2P, however I'm entering the crater on F2P. I had thought it was a f2p track, but I guess not?

Well, deciding to go ahead and get the remaining 10 songs on my jukebox, I went music-hunting. My problem is, there's a song I can't seem to get. "Bounty Hunter 3" - Obviously in Bounty Hunter, level 3 crater. I ran around the crater for about 30 minutes to no luck, so then my friend came to protect me while we ran around. After an hour, I still didn't get it. I ran from side to side, all around the edges, went in circles in he middle, but nothing. Am I missing something? Why am I not able to get this track? (Yes, I'm in crater 3)

Speaking of paying attention, that's already been mentioned several times. And to keep this on-topic: 1700 total, now for 1800...

I enjoy it, actually. It's quite addicting. Not sure if it was worth it buying the staff. That's hundreds of tabs/pure essence passed up, but eh... At least I enjoyed getting it. Overall, good update. :
