  1. I, myself don't like it. I'm not sure. For one, what do you think prayer is there for? It's not disrespectful, unless you both agree to it or something. Also, it's got some useful advice, but sometimes it's a bit harsh. And keep in mind, combat level doesn't make you better. Also, some of these players don't know better. The best thing to do is to help them. As the saying goes, "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for life."
  2. Yan-Ile ("Yan" + the word "I'll")
  3. What about "Auto Drop" It would save space and people can still get it if they want it? I guess that works :) that is a very good idea!unlike mine #-o The only downside is if you accidentally press 'auto drop,' you might not be able to pick everything up fast enough.
  4. Hmm, if they aren't showing, it obviously a glitch, or Jagex is trying to make it harder Anyways, I'm curious if there's a trick, Muggi. My main worry is when I need a prayer potion or Sara brew, how can I keep the prayers right and also drink it? Because they attacks end and start pretty quick, and I fear I won't be able to keep up. Any tips and/or tricks?
  5. Thanks, that clears it up. I think that's it.
  6. Wel, you're right, but even so, that would still mean more than 10 million players?
  7. From what my friends say, WoW isnt THAT much better. Most MMO's community is full of "noobs" and so on. Anyway, like i stated before, the reason that WoW is number one is due to REVENUE. They claim to have 8 million players. Yet RS has MUCH more, although through f2p and the fact that they compare us on a 3:1 player ratio. When I read that article, it said they expect there to be 10 million MMOG subscirbers by 2011 worldwide. I don't think that's right. I'm pretty sure I've read that Runescape has more players than WoW, multiple times. Now, when they say subscribers, maybe that doesn't count f2pers, but still, I doubt that's right. If there are 8 million of players playing WoW, I'd think there'd be at least 2 million total from all the other online games, such as Final Fantasy, EverQuest, Runescape, City of Heroes/Villians. you have to be 13+ to play runescape... Thats a fairly recent rule, I started at 11 years old =-\ it wasnt ALWAYS that way Yes, I started playing Runescape when I was 10/11 also. It wasn't always that way. (Sorry for all the quotes, guys)
  8. I think you're on the right track. Most younger kids can't afford $15 a month. It's just too much. With Runescape offering a f2p world, younger kids can play; all they need is a keyboard. Later on, it's easier to convince their parents for $5 a month. This adds on to the fact of Jagex starting to slowly target the younger players, instead of what used to be 13+. Both of these are some contributing factors, in my opinion at least.
  9. I don't think this works :| I've tried multiple times, but I never have any luck. Switching wepons just cancels the whack.
  10. World 16 Airs. Best bet to make a quick 200k for you.
  11. Try: Between a Rock... Clock Tower Darkness of Hallowvale Contact! Eyes of Glouphrie Mourning's Ends - Part 2 Murder Mystery Recruitment Drive Enlightened Journey Icthlarin's Little Helper Slug Menace Eagles' Peak Without a guide, then get back to us. I'm very glad I didn't on some of those...It's rather hard getting through Hallowvale without directions, for example. But still, the way quests are done is fine. If you never had to meander throughout all of Gielinor, what sense of achievement would there be for finishing a long and tedious quest like One Small Favour (I had fun with that one, by the way). I agree. Once you finish a difficult quest with so many small parts, it's that much more rewarding when you finish. Besides, from all of the quests I've done, I've got a GREAT sense of direction around Gielinor, always helping others. It's another style of quests, and if you don't enjoy them, don't do them. Simple enough. And before you complain then how am I supposed to get a Quest cape, keep in mind the QC is an accomplishment. It's the person who can stand all those frustrating moments that deserves it. So basically those who don't enjoy the game and endure the frustration... deserve it? That really makes no sense... and infact, is completely contradicting yourself. How can you say you love the quests, but deserve the rewards for the frustrating parts... You can't love a quest when your hating on it... Its the people who manage to pass the difficulty of the quest that deserve it.. not those who endure frustration. Anyone can do that. ~Defender~ Take Skill Capes in consideration. It's fun, and of course we must enjoy the skill somewhat, BUT it's not easy. It gets frustrating at times, and makes you want to quit. Quest cames are the same. There HAS to be some frustration going on. It's a balance of challenge, frustration, and difficult situations.

  13. Okay, thanks. Will do.
  14. Equip the chicken and use the "operate Rubber Chicken" option and you will do the chicken dance (I could do it and take the pic but im a free player and my chicken is in my house) I understand that, but I'm wondering if he wishes for me to also 'whack' someone.
  15. I have a Rubber Chicken. What exactly are you needing me to do? EDIT: You're also missing the Demonic Symbol. I have one if you need.
  16. EXTREMELY difficult and tideous, but possible. By the way: I cracked up from your signature!

What? Do you know what you're saying? Yes, in the Abyss, you can be attacked by players. Bring Dragon Hide, the best you can wear.
  19. I'll put a new one up when I get the time.
  20. Wow, after spending 1 and a half days, I got them right at this post. :o
  21. Well, I've killed about 310 Mogres at the time of this post. I'm trying to get Flippers, the yellow things you put on your feet. I've been at it for hours. About 3 people have come here also wanting to get flippers, and have long since obtained them. I've tried it with and without the ring of wealth. I have 8 Mudskipper Hats, 3 fish bowls, and 0 Flippers. 1. Is there a trick to obtaining the Flippers or is it PURE luck? 2. Does the Ring of Wealth help? (before you say yes/no, make sure you have some idea!) Thanks! :)
  22. Kuori_Ame, I'll try fixing it. The whips have stuck out a LOT, so I decided to get rid of 'em.
  23. Thanks guys. I'll try and fix it up when I can find time.
  24. Oh, thank ya! It is a bit unoriginal. There are plenty like this, with the classic pile of gold and sitting with high-level armor. But I guess it serves me well enough.
  25. Thanks. I got a little lazy on the fire place, and never bothered to fix it. I was a little unsure of the lighting, so...
