  1. If you dislike runescape why u join the forum? Otherwise keep it coming I hardly expected this thread to last this long!! Thats what I'm wondering, its one thing to be on a RS forum and not play the game, but its quite another to be on the forum and hate the game.
  2. Tried it, the game lagged so much that I could hardly take a step, literally.
  3. In my Eyes evolution is the same way that you view religion. Evolution is a bunch of facts bunched up together trying to prove a point but actually just makes them seem stupid.(Do not flame me for this, keep your responses civilized so we don't have to close this topic. I like it alot :) ) Really, if you want me to get into this arguement, evolution has evidence to back it up, but technically, it doesn't disprove religion. Though that is not the point I am making, this was not an attack on any religion, I was merely stating the facts, any religion could be right, but only one theory can be right and its not very likely anyone in existance has found it, its possible, but not likely.
  4. OKKKKKKK!!!!!! now we know who the board's resident pyshco killer is And I know where you live too.
  5. Exactly, though I meant describing the plotline.
  6. hehehe. I personaly liked it when my house was so horrible they only had 1 room. Whenever someone wanted to take a shower / go to the bathroom the other guy would have to walk outside LOL. Lol, you know, there is a glitch in the game that allows you to move the entry point for all the Sims that don't live in your house anywhere you want, I move it in the middle of my house so I can have strangers pop out of nowhere in the middle of a fire, I once had my house completly full of people and lit it on fire, it was the most fun I have ever had in the game.
  7. Ahaha I love doing that with the tycoon series. On another note, great list. Too bad i forgot to add fable to mine. I'll go try legend of mania once. I think i might have it for the GBA but I stopped playing/ and/or got stuck in some massively long dungeons after months and got bored (I don't think I was supposed to beat them yet) No, thats Sword of Mana, though they are related, Legend of Mana is a lot different, its on PS1.
  8. 1. Chrono Trigger- Its the top classic game. 2. Fable- Can't say no to a game with a mini game called chicken kickin in it, plus the ability to choose between good and evil is a big plus. 3. FFVII/tactics-Best Final Fantasys of all time. 4.Legend of mana- Don't know how to describe it, but its one of the best RPGs of all time. 5.Civilization- Top strategy series of all time, when I get into it, I have a hard time getting out, its just so addicting. And the Sims games are also on my overall top list, not for the game itself, but because I enjoy trapping my family inside, covering the floors with rugs, and lighting the house on fire, then leaving the survivors to starve to death trapped in the middle of the tombstones of their loved ones.

And my point stands. Why do I want to play a game I played 5 years ago? Maybe because they have never been on a handheld before and many people still like them, I was very addicted to Mario 64 when it first came out, and now that I have it on DS its still fun to play. Nice, an actual RPG on the system. :) I hear FFIII is very good, but I haven't managed to get my hands on one yet. I don't even know where to begin here... Graphics help the game. Just like sound and controls do. What I was saying is you can't disreguard them. I'll put it this way, I'd much rather play a great game with great graphics than a great game with shoddy graphics (not to be mixed with their actual graphic engine, but the quality of the artwork. For example a sprite game can have great graphics if it has some quality art in it. My point is is that everything in a game is important from gameplay to graphics to the controls of a game. You can't disreguard any of them as being inferior to the design. Sorry, I misunderstood you before, though I would still play a game with bad graphics if it was good, I do agree with that.
  10. He wasn't horribly obese was he? There was a kid named Nimrod in my sophmore math class.
  11. Count of Monte Cristo! Read it in my senior English class in high school and got hooked on it, I doubt I'd be able to describe it without spoiling it, so I won't.
  12. Theres some snow and the roads were pretty iced over, but its not that bad here in Kansas, though I heard in southern Missouri, where my girlfriend lives, got hit pretty bad.

The Ds made it a point to redo a couple of games, Mario 64 for example, its exactly like the original Mario 64, except you can play as Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi too, Super Mario, made exactly like the original, except with up to date graphics, and they are both must have games for the system, I have not met anyone who didn't like them(Unless they have a thing against Mario games to begin with). Oh boy, I can play a different character model in a game! That makes it so different than when I played mario 64 on my N64. You basically just skimmed through that section didn't you? My point was THEY WERE MEANT TO BE REMAKES, not that they were different, though its apparent you have your head too far up your [wagon] to even take into consideration what another person is saying. I personally like Children of Mana, its unique to the system and its good, comes from the Secret of Mana series of games, but, like all of the mana games, its different from the rest in a lot of ways, I still prefer Legend of mana, but this one is pretty good too. I'm just trying out Tao's Adventure, which is a sequel to the long forgotten Azure Dreams game for PS1/Game boy color. Saying that is almost exactly like saying "You're a nerd unless you look like (Insert pop stars name here)" its shallow, as well as stupid, everyone goes about games the same way "Games suck if they don't look like (Insert game name here)".
  14. To the religous arguement: Religion, is basically useless, just a bunch of unprovable theories about the unknown, why we came to be here, how we came to be here, life after death, ect. Though many are under the delusion that their religion is undoubtedly wrong, even though they have absolutly no evidence whatsoever, that even includes those who believe the answer lies in science. Which leads to much controversy; constant fighting, death, even wars can come from this, its a never enhding cycle, that I really doubt will ever end. There is a possibility that someone is right, though its really doubtful that anyone in existance has the true answer so its not worth fighting over. Religion has caused many problems, and will continue to cause problems, we are better off without it, though human curiosity prevents that from ever happening.

The only unoriginal games they have for it, are suppost to be that way, the rest are either completly new, or its a recent game that pushes its way onto all consols, even Pokemon, who basically have been making the exact same game for years, are making completly new games, I can't promise you they won't suck, but I can say that they are new. As for the graphics thing, good graphics arn't important nor are they needed at all, its a definate plus, but I would rather a good NES game as opposed to a horrible Gamecube game.
  16. Nope, no matter what government we are under, its human nature to cause problems and be violent, the only real way to get rid of it is to get rid of all humans. And the sad thing is, I'm not joking.

    I repeat:
  18. Half of those aren't American authors. -.- And it's still too bad you can't do foreign authors, especially Russian. I mean Nabokov is amazing, and Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment is wonderful, though it can drag on at some points. Alexander Dumas's(I hate that censor ) works cannot be matched though, The Count of Monte Cristo is a pure work of art, and the Three Musketeers is an absolute classic. Even if they didn't exist, there would be Sir Arthur Conan Doyle with the Sherlock Holmes series of books.
  19. Thats my answer to your question.

Final Fantasy is also coming out for the DS though, the only one on the PSP is a remake of Tactics. Actually, there is another FFVII game coming out for it, Sony seems to be trying to milk it for all the popularity its got lately, I think they've even gone as far as to put a game for it on cell phones. And Doom, in most places the PSP is $100 dollars more than a DS. Offtopic rant: Square, go back to ORIGINAL IDEAS. We don't want more VII BS. It was an okay game, prolly in the middle for FF, but no where NEAR AS MUCH ATTENTION IT NEEDED. More off topic: Meh, I sorta enjoyed Dirge of Cerebus, but it was way too easy. Back on topic: Found this for all of you who continue to argue: http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/comic.php?d=20050205
  21. Lets see, where to start.... 1st grade teacher: Threatened the whole class if they did not obey every word she said, if she said single file line, and there were a few kids out of the line, the class would be threatened that if they didn't do it, they would have their hands stapled to their backs, and she was good friends with the principle, so she got away with it, though after me and to other kids went to the principle about it, and the principle told parents it was all made up by us, my mother got involved, cause, though I probably don't sound like it, I was a innocent well behaved boy at the time, and really couldn't make that up, she finally caught the teacher at it and other parents got involved, though the teacher retired the next year without consequence. Substitute teacher: For some reason, throughout my time in school there was this really mentally disturbed sub that kept popping up, I mean this lady was really disturbed, she named her cell phone and talked to it constantly, and no, she wasn't talking on it, she was talking to it, she never could seem to find her glasses, even though she was wearing them, while taking attendence, she read 'Joe' as 'Joesephina'. I really can not make this up, the lady was seriously messed up. Sophmore English teacher: A true feminist, no matter how horribly a girl did, she passed her class, unless they really got her angry, though the same can't be said for males, every male that took her class, failed, no matter how good they did.

I really doubt any extra terrestrials have visted Earth, or been seen by a human anywhere, the whole government conspiracy thing is really pushed too much, when we don't even have the slightest bit of evidence that there is even any intelligent life outside of our world. Though I do believe in the possiblility that there is intelligent life outside of Earth.

  24. Well let's see, domesticated dogs and cats, lizard, birds, fish, etc. etc. But if you're talking about animals who don't play with you etc, I get what you're saying, they'd just take up resources. ya, animals that dont play with you like cows or chickens. who eats cats? Actually almost all types of animal are eaten in one place or another, ever wonder where those rumors about cat meat in asian food came from? It doesn't take much to figure out that a people who serve Fruit bat, monkey brains, and beating frog hearts as delicasies would have the stomach to eat such animals. I'm not entirely sure, but I have heard that some kinds of lizards and snakes are served in Italy as well as several other places as food. I'm not trying to insult anyones culture by saying this, its probably very good, though its doubtful I will ever have the courage to eat any of it. My point is, do not put anything past human tastes.
