  1. Damn straight! 8-) Trust me, you never want to come here, you tend to see a lot of disturbing stuff on a daily basis, and thats only counting TV, if you actually have the courage to step outside you'll probably end up scarred for life with some of the disturbing things that goes on around here. :ohnoes:
  2. Yeah, I guess you're right, but from the looks of things, they are going to have a hell of a hard time picking themselves back up after that.
  3. Yes, that would be true, though I don't see the PS3 taking off any time soon. The reason the other car is so much its a more updated car, just like the Wii, it has something more to offer than the model before it, the PS3 however, is a standard, traditional gaming system, sure it has several new gadgets in it, but they do absolutly nothing to improve gaming and game play.
  4. Though it isn't proven, didn't Jesus return from the grave? That would technically make him a zombie wouldn't it? Errr not lots of people even believe that Well, I guess you're just cancelling out about half of the Christian population? Don't take it so personally dude, thats how most fights get started on these boards, he just meant thatr not everyone believes in that. I was basically just joking around to begin with.
  5. Like they said after it happened to me, its doubtful(Though possible) that it will happen twice in one lifetime. I've heard it's actually pretty likely. I've read statistically there's a 50% chance of it reoccurring, and my doctor said about 40%. I wasn't too happy that a lady who was X-raying me (for like a 15th time over the week) asked me if I'd had one before, I said no, and she confidently said I'd be back. :s @LP - Yeah, that does sound absolutely terrifying. Now I'm somewhat nervous about flying. They did tell me there's a risk with flying (which I do yearly), as well as that I could never for the rest of my life scuba dive. :( Geez, nurses these days. That's worse bedside manner than Dr.House! My girlfriends a nurse... -.- (Well technically a certified nurses assistant but shes well on her way to nurse) Well, I was told its doubtful it will happen again for me, but even if it does, it happens. As an asthematic I've had experiences similar several times over my life, though now I've pretty much all but conquered my asthema, I find the experiences nothing to worry about as long as you get to them fast enough. Since you have already experienced it, you would know what it feels like next time and more than likely get it treated fast enough for it not to become a real problem.
  6. thats not fair Xbox 360 had a year head start and wii was released before PS3 :). Anyway i might get one when they are ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã100. Actually the Wii came out a month after the PS3 here.
  7. Alright, first off, the Wii is actually breaking off from traditional gaming, while the PS3 and Xbox360 are doing the exact same thing they have been since they started. I mean the games they made for their newer systems could easily be made for their older systems without any change whatsoever in the game play, sure they have a couple extra features, but they are GAME consols, not DVD(Or whatever the hell else they play) players or anything else, thus wouldn't it make more sense to do something with game play rather than see how many different features they can pack in there, because of all the extra stuff, Sony had to make the PS3 $600, and while they were doing that guess what they forgot to make? Decent games, none of the games they have out for it are acually good enough to be labled as must have games, which is a necessity for any game system launch, if they actually want to stay close to the compitition they have to have at least 1 must have game for their system, though currently the PS3 has none. As for the 360, yeah, its got a great library of games, several good features, so yeah, its a great system, though really, it isn't much of a step up from Xbox. As for the Wii, they are actually trying something new for a change, its got tons of potential, its game library isn't very impressive at the moment, but it does have one game that has been put as the #1 game of 2006 on many lists, suprisingly even over Gears of War, which I personally thought would be the top game even though I've never played it, and its got tons of what look to be some great games coming in the near future. Resistance is the current must have game for the PS3, critics call it better than Halo and Zelda. The Wii is for non-gamers, it has a poor future library for a big gamer like most people. Fine, I stand corrected, though I checked several scources, and many(If not all) rate the new Zelda far above it. As for future library, lets see, looks like any decent looking game has either been canceled or the date it comes out hasn't even been released yet. Though while I was searching around, I found a graphics demo hat they apparently showed at E3 of what FFVII would look if it was on the PS3, if they made that game, that would boost sales through the roof for them if they actually made it, though they say they arn't. Mr Putter(I'm to lazy to quote what you said): Completly agree with you on the PC, it will always have the best games, its just plain fact. But as for your other ratings, *Points up to Introuble's sig* the numbers don't lie, PS3 is doing pathetic, Xbox360 is doing fairly well for how long its been out, but the Wii is doing outstanding, both the other consols have been out long before the Wii but its already shot up to almost half the consols the Xbox360 has sold. It is clear who is winning this race.

Legend of Mana, FFVII, and FF Tactics are my absolute favorite games on there. I had a PS1 a long time ago, but sold it after I got a PS2.

  10. Though it isn't proven, didn't Jesus return from the grave? That would technically make him a zombie wouldn't it? Errr not lots of people even believe that I know, I don't quite believe it myself, thus why I said it isn't proven.

I'm not going to make any judgements on the movie yet, because I haven't seen it(Though I hate the way they did the guys bodies). Don't you just hate it when people start complaining about a movie BEFORE it comes out? It would be nice to see movies that are historically accurate, yes, though this is based off a freaking graphic novel people, could you overreact any more? It could be a good movie, so why don't all you complainers do us all a favor and actually go see the movie before you start whining sbout it?

  14. It's the one with Tweak's parents coffee shop. I know, I meant the name of the episode.
  15. Of course God doesn't throw good people into hell. Your problem is that you assume there is such a thing as a truly good person. Of course, you also assume that there is no proof. I challenge you to prove both of those assumptions. I never assumed anything, the conversation was that god threw Athiests who didn't believe in him into hell, I was going along with that conversation. It was mainly what ifs. As for proof, you find it, find undisputable proof that wasn't written in a manipulated book(You can not argue with me here, Christian priests admitted to changing the bible constantly for their own gain). I want hard evidence, not a passage in a book saying someone rose from the dead, walked on water, and turned water into wine, which of course, even if it was proven true(Which I'm not doubting it is true, just saying its never been proven), does not prove there is a God, but that there was a person who believed in God who did special things.
  16. I would say the Wii looks to be the best so far, its something new, cheaper than the other 2, only real problem I see with it at the moment is its only got 1 or 2 must play games, of course it hasn't really had the chance the 360 had seeing as the 360 came out a while ago and the Wii pretty much just came out, it hasn't had the chance to expand its game library yet, though it looks to have some very good ones coming out soon. 360 comes in at a close second, it has a fairly large game library, with some must play games, but, as was already stated, anything decent for the 360 is bound to come out on PC, if it hasn't already. PS3 has been on a horrible downhill slope and it would take a miracle to even get it a bit closer to the other 2, its way overpriced and has no decent games. I'm not sure, but this could be the death of Sony gaming.
  17. I'm sure I had made some, but its too far back to remember.
  18. 1. Do you like South Park? Yes! 2. What are your favorite South Park episode(s)? I would have to say the one with the underwear gnomes that deals with big business crushing smaller ones(I don't know which one it is and I'm too lazy to look it up). 3. Do you think South Park's gone too far? Of course it has, but what, in this day in age, hasn't?
  19. My point is, how can we be expected to believe in God, when we can't even be sure he exists? It would be rather arrogant to throw good people into hell, just because they didn't believe, when there was no real proof to lead them to believe in the first place.
  20. The exact same thing happened to me last April! One day there was this school assembly at the end of school, and me and my friends decided to skip it and went to a wooded area behind a nearby college to hang out cause its fun to walk around the path and we caught turtles and stuff around there all the time(Our best catch was a softshell turtle that was around 2 feet in diameter). I had this slight pain around the left side of my chest the whole time, but I had ignored it thinking it would go away. On the way back to my friends car the pain got so horrible that I just sat down in the middle of the sidewalk and would not move, two of my friends went to go get help from the college cop and one stayed behind. When the cop got there around 15 mins later he asked me how it felt and there was pain throughout the left side of my chest and going down my arm, he asked if I felt an ambulence needed to be called and I said no and that I should be fine, but then he said that it was a sign of a heart attack, so then I said fine. The Ambulence got there and on the way there they checked my heart rate and stuff and said I seemed to be alright, so I was thinking that this whole thing was going to be a waste of time and the doctor would let me go home soon after I got there saying that nothing was wrong with me. But they got me there put me in a hospital gown, and had me lie down on one of those hospital beds to wait for the doctor to get there, while I was laying there I started hearing and feeling bubbles popping up in my lower chest area. The doctor got there about an hour later. checked me over, and said it was a spontaneous pneumothorax. They kept me over night, Stuck a rather uncomfortable IV in my arm and stuck this oxygen thing up my nose(I hated that part the most). Next morning they told me it was healing up just fine on its own so they sent me home after lunch and told me not to do any exercise within the next month or so, which really sucked, cause at the time I was hooked on DDR lol.
  21. I don't see how its fair for good people to recieve eternal damnation just because they doubted something, that hasn't even bothered to prove itself to the world. If God wants us to believe in him so bad, then why can't he come here and prove to us hes real? I mean, how can he have the right? To throw people into the bowels of hell, for not believing, when he has never given us a reason to believe, I've seen some pretty arrogant people before, but that would take the cake.
  22. You're balanced in all those categories o_O? I love balance too, but these are supposed to be pictures about you :P . While on the subject of Yin and Yang though, I'd like to note that Yin, which symbolizes evil/dark, is also represented by females. Owned. Does everyone on this forum like to cause problems with Issy or something? Sure, shes a bit of an overreactive feminist, but that doesn't mean you have the right to try to cause a problem with her.
  23. Good and evil isn't clearly defined, thus even though someone is being good by todays moral standards, God, if there is a god, could have a different view on morality and could send those that are by our standards, good, to hell, and take those morally bad to heaven. I know its against your point, but I like getting technical. \
  24. Guess I forgot to mention this, but most Christians I know also don't think they're going to Hell because they made a short lie to save their family. Your entire situation is fallacious in that you blame the Christian for dying and letting their family "starve", when the terrorist is clearly the primary cause of it. You place a terrorist in the situation but then somehow magically forget about the terrorist when placing blame. The point is not about the killer, its about the reason, this is about people that would rather die than commit blasphemy. It would be just plain stupid to let your overactive faith throw your only chance of living away rather than make a tiny lie about your belief. Edit:Misread lol
