  1. I had it at 9 maples, but after selling all the maples, i was far from breaking even, if you want to break even, you might need to sell some seeds i guess, or your unids/herbs
  2. I just don't understand why you would need 10 seconds to get the special done. I personally never used more than a total of 4 seconds for anything related to the sword, take out, spec, bank. Why would it take 10 seconds? Unless you think that you can't do anything while your dude is doing the special? :?
  3. Nope, been using tip.it for about 5 years now only to discover the forums last year. In w99, it always seems to be me hyting the other tip.iter, rarely the other way round :(
  4. "have an ice day" is rather amazing to me
  5. I myself prefer the gnome stronghold bank west of agility course. There's like 2 oak trees east from the south ladder leading up to the bank
  6. I did it with just my fire battlestaff and about 3 p pots, using about 100 fire blasts in total i think
  7. I personally would not find it interesting to kill a monster just for some rare item that it drops. If a rare item does drops, i count my blessings \
  8. To 2) Yes farming is definitely worth it. It can always aid your training of herblore by growing herbs. Limpwurt plants provide you roots for strength pots and high lvl berries can only be gotten through farming. Growing trees gives you an excuse to train wc :P You may find yourself training farming alot more differently from the typical skills you have, which is sadly why alot of people hate it...
  9. I say 1 advice if you have completed hand in the sand and have quite alot of sand in your bank, go buy seaweed and soda ash from charter ships and start glassblowing vials. Sell the vials to make up for money spent on seaweed and soda ash
  10. It will stop them from dds-ing you quite as consistently, and if you're really lucky then it might let you live to run away. But a hassle, and kinda hoping for too much considering how most pkers hit. OK... Here's what it comes down to though. The def + is what... 10 at most? Let's just say 15 for the argument. Most people don't wear helms or capes and such when rcing. Most people wear generica. This is fine... but take into mind that a rune helm which costs 25K-35K increases your def by 35-50 (I dunno what it is), an addy helm does at least 30... A defender gives you around +20 in def... and you can glory and pick up the bugger in time anyways if you die. You could wear mith boots, black boots, or climbing boots. All of these give nominable boosts in defence that is more than 10. (well, except climbing). And I always drop my miths =/ rune gloves give what, +8 to def? The legends cape gives +7 in all it's def stats. An emerald amulet (yes, they still exist) probably gives you the same + to defence. All of these give thesame boosts as taking the time out to special with that thing. Just consider that. If you wear all that rune defender, metal boots and stuff you'll be facing quite some magic defence penalties. Remember that you are suppose to be wearing good anti-mage armour. The extra defence from the special simply help against rangers, ddsers and abyssal monsters, which is not as important as your main threat when abyss rcing- which is teleblockers
  11. A good initiative to do tip.it a service, i appreciate it. Keep us posted on the results :)
  12. No, simply no interest on it. Even if i wanted one, i don't have any means to buy it :(
  13. Abyss rc cosmics for a little profit, cosmics sell at about 170 each :
  14. Slayer is the slowest. Construction is the fastest (not hard to get 99 from 1 in a week)
  15. Your health > friends You can get new friends, but you can't really get new lungs
  16. Rc is really slow :(
  17. It's definitely a waste of time and money going there at 21, just stick to cakes and start pickpocketing warriors at 25. At 51, you should be able to start pp effectively
  18. For mage, you have some ways of getting it up. If you fletch alot, you will get to alch your yew longs. You may want try doing your highest enchant spell in mage arena. Pcing with ancients is possible, or you can simply melee pc and spend points in mage.
  19. I don't think ice warriors hit often, as long as you have 60+ defence, you should be rather fine. They have rather high defence though
  20. You might want to try taverly dungeon, the area right before the blues. It's quite a far walk unless you have 70 agility, that is
  21. I don't think it's a hard quest throughout, damis was really annoying
  22. The glider option for gnome gliders.. I don't think it's that hard to fix it..
  23. I still like the farming cape look as it is.. i don't think it needs any redesign
  24. Blue drags definitely. Kill the ones that are in ogre enclave. Since they have high ranged defence, i strongly suggest you use a bow or crystal bow. Darts/knifes won't hit well on them. For the god books, sara and zammy are the more useful ones compared to guthix
  25. Deaths are about 18 tokkul ea, so you'll need 16,667 deaths for 1 uncut onyx. If you look at the crafting section of runescape forums, you may find eager crafters willing to trade a fury for onyx and neccessary materials. Afterwards, sell the fury
