runecrafting/slayer probably slayer because you can't buy that.Also,if I had 99 rc I would have a phat so a cape wouldn't be a big deal

I would choose any 99 cape over a fire cape during skilling or just walking around because it may be an easy 99(cooking,fletching,etc.) but It also takes a lot of money and time.

Were you doing Desert Treasure? That happens randomly when you carry one of the four diamonds.
