Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I joined the same hack lobby 2 times in a row. First was at 6 seconds in, it was SnD on a TDM lobby, so I quit. Clicked TDM again, got in, and the game was over. Became 70 3rd prestige. This is getting frustrating. Guess I'll probably stay at 3rd for a looong time to cover up for the hacked levels. I'm one of them  I bought MW about 3 months after getting MW2 because I heard the gameplay was better. I like the MP5. Is it some overrated piece of gun? I don't know.

Awesome Magazines?
My school makes me subscribe to Reader's Digest, which is fine with me, but recently their stuff is full of healthcare and whatnot instead of interesting stories. Personally, I don't subscribe to, but I buy Playworks, a local game magazine every month (why I haven't subscribed yet eludes myself).

Screen Resolution resets on bootup?
I've solved the previous topic: turns out I had to clean the registry, that reduced the crashes by a lot. Now I have a worse problem. Everytime I bootup my computer, no matter how I previously switched it off (via the button on the casing or "properly"), the screen resolution resets itself to 640 x 480, and my native resolution is 1920 x1080. This used to happen say, once or twice a month, but now it happens EVERY TIME I switch on my computer. It seems to hang around the native resolution at the welcome screen for a split second, though. Any reason why this happens? My monitor's (Samsung Syncmaster 2233SWPlus) drivers are up to date, if there are even drivers for it at all. I'm pretty sure I updated my graphic card's drivers while hopelessly trying to fix my other problem. I've googled around and found nothing much with the exact same problem, although I've found similar ones. Also, my mouse seems to screw up randomly when I start my computer up. Same scenario as above. Left/right clicks and programmable buttons work though.

All Time Favorite Games
In descending order: 1. Pokemon Firered (RPG, GBA)- It's RBY with actual 16bit colour omfg (I do own RBY, by the way). 2. Red Alert 2 (RTS, PC) - One the first games I played, and I love fast (it's relatively fast paced anyway, better than RA3 IMO) paced RTS gameplay. 3. Age of Empires 1&2 (RTS, PC) - This is fine right? I've not played AOE3, but I've heard it lives up to the standards. This is an awesome game. 4. Seven Kingdoms II (RTS, PC) - The Frythan wars - Relatively unheard of, played this with RA2 (when I was 5, mind). Awesome diplomacy system, interesting fantasy elements. 5. Halo 1&2 (FPS, PC/XBOX) - Pretty similar gameplay, might be overrated, but it's still a decent game. Story is bordering on "meh" but not the worst for it. Honourable mention (in no particular order): Starcraft (RTS, PC) - Solid gameplay but it's pretty much the same tactics every game. Warcraft 3: the Frozen Throne (RTS, PC) ^ Diablo 2 (RPG, PC) - Maybe I just suck at this, it's pretty.. odd. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (FPS, PC/XBOX360/PS3/Nintendo DS/Wii) - Everybody moved to the sequel so I get stuck with all the laggy rooms. Not cool. Gameplay is sweet. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (FPS, PC/Xbox360/PS3) - It's like COD4, but with more modern guns and terrible matchmaking for the PC versions.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
^ I'm horrible with quickscoping, or even sniping in general, so OMG PRO o.o. Been learning how to use the FAMAS. 1 burst with SP = kill. I like. Also, not sure if I should stick akimbo to my G18. I like the totally-not-loud sound it makes when using a silencer, plus less, if any muzzle flash.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
I regret not selecting a better course last year for the rest of my secondary school (I was eligible for a better one, but chose not to for they had mind boggling subjects). I'd now rather take difficult stuff then deal with ignorant, violent monkeys. :wall:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
The G18 is pretty fun to use without akimbo: it's pretty decent even at mid-low range, and the rate of fire is just awesome. No wonder it's overused.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
had that happen the other day, was level 61 0th prestige and got boosted to 70... ah well... Out of interest, what game modes do you play? Pretty much anything I can get into, I'll play. I've not played 3rd person Team Tactical (although I've joined a 3rd person ground war before), The first person variant, CTF, and Headquarters/Hardcore Headquarters. But mostly I play 6v6 TDM/Domination, since I'm not in the habit of getting assaulted from everywhere.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Ugh. Stupid prestige lobbies. Went in, became 70 2nd prestige when I clicked quit. Was only level 20 2nd too :(

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
My friend was knifing in Quarry, so he ran into the area with granite blocks behind the big building with the very high vantage point. Seeing him run (I couldn't hit him due to the stupid corners), I throw a semtex across the whole blocks of rock, and it lands on the opposite ends. The explosion killed him for a funny GWC. Man I love semtex. Also, 2nd prestige is a pain because steam's servers keep going down for whatever reason *waits for Xbox360/PS3 fanboys to pounce*.

~Codguy's Blog~ OSRS - Quest Cape Completed
FU. FU so much. Right after I got my zamorak platebody too. *RAAAGE* (If it's not evident in the clan chat then how infuriated I was) Meh, just kidding, grats on the 100m. You destroyed my bank twice with a single stroke of luck.

Aren't they... super buggy and full of lag though? I haven't heard anything on private servers for about 2-3 years now.

Game Crashes?
Never mind that... I fixed it (underclocked my graphics card to below the factory standard). My brother's FIFA08 keeps crashing after... quick sim or something. I looked it up in event viewer and it gives: [hide]Faulting application FIFA08[Caution: Executable File], version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x46d9d9d4, faulting module FIFA08[Caution: Executable File], version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x46d9d9d4, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x001c659f, process id 0x1c14, application start time 0x01cb065a8fc0b771.[/hide] Anyone know what maybe causing this?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I'm now 2nd prestige, took me about.. 1 month and 4 days (not in game, but since I last prestiged). Proud to say that I didn't use G18 akimbo for the entire prestige :D. Maybe I'll get it back this prestige, so I can get to 3rd quicker and get that extra slot for anti-killstreaks. Too bad my KD ratio is taking a beating from this (I can't use the FAMAS, nor can I use the L89 LSW, and I'm crap with the holo sight on the UMP, even though I am fine with it on anything else).

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
FMJ doesn't add damage, it only increases bullet penetration, so the guy on the other side of the cover will take more damage through the surface than if you would hit him with a normal bullet. The stats on the create a class are wrong.

Game Crashes?
2 month bump (from the 3rd page anyway...). The crashes suddenly became more frequent. I would play with decent settings on MW2, or whatever game you'd prefer. It would crash, say once or twice a week, max. However, it started to crash within minutes of playing (TDMs are 10 minutes, I always crash on the first game), even after I lowered the settings from the safe and older ones. This is bordering on irritating. If it helps, my computer, for whatever reason, refused to display anything upon the first bootup for... about the past 3 days. I have not downloaded anything, so it cannot possibly be a virus. I believe the root cause is either my Nvidia 9600GS, or my power supply (I have no idea how to check the power though, some help?). My graphics card (according to other users) seems to freak out insanely if the voltage (I can't remember what the exact term is, but it has something to do with voltage) rises a bit, causing it to shut off all display, because last time I checked, the graphics card powers the monitor. Alternatively, my power supply might be too weak. It is definitely not overheating, because I, experimentally, have been playing the games only in an airconditioned enviroment. Would like some insight to what I should replace/fix/anything.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Damn it, got 15 headshots and 75 kills for the FAL in a game of Domination, then the computer decides to crash with a black screen (I made a topic about it, but let's not bring that up). Harder than it sounds because FALw/Red dot sights' hits are slightly off center, and I'm not a semi-auto expert too :( On another note, trying out unconventional weapons. I played the M4A1 silenced, TMPs, FN2000w/RDS (looks like Halos assault rifle haha), akimbo USPs (love the melee sound, it's as fast as tac knife too) and the Desert Eagle, although the Deagle is probably used more often than not (keep getting raped by akimbo deagles).

is this a great gaming mouse?
It all boils down to what exactly you want to play. If you want to play FPSes, you might want a mouse with a higher DPI. If you play RTSes, you probably won't need such high DPI. It helps if you could post the specifications of the mouse you hope to buy.

New computer help
1. I don't use Radeons (although I'm considering it) 2. You don't need excessive power. Usually if you buy a prebuilt computer, they will have the power supply sorted out for you. 600W should be pretty high end. 3. I can't help you with this one, although I have a 1GB Kingston along with some unspecified brands in my motherboard, and it's fine. 4. You could always overclock even without liquid cooling, just to a smaller extent.
