Note: the following post is based on the assumption that she was fined not because she downloaded the songs (they don't give a crap, i believe) but was because she shared the downloaded stuff online. Unless, I failed my interpretation. In any case, if she was fined for sharing the stuff online, then she deserves it, however I must agree 80k per song is a bit insane.

I've heard some weird advice about computers from people everywhere. Here's a small list of them, along with some info. Having a huge case makes the interior "roomier", allowing circulation and reducing a risk of overheating :wall: - Got told this by the salesman at a computer specialised store while hunting for a computer. A laptop when charged for too long will exude electricity from any port. :? - What my supposedly adept in tech brother assumes. USB stuff lasts a couple of years before they are terminally screwed. - Read on the back of a flash drive A black area with a brown outline on a LCD screen is the result of the liquid in the screen leaking out, presumably due to dropping. - Explanation my dad gave when my GBA (I was 9 when I bought it) when the said area appeared on the screen) See those vents on the side of the laptop? It supposedly gives you a fever when you get exposed to the air it produces too long. - What my mother (she is good with general knowledge, just totally hopeless when it comes to tech) assumes. Are those facts real or are they just... utter crap? Also, if you have any other facts you find dubiously odd, post them here! Apologies if there is something like this.

They have different conditions to meet. So take a walk in their shoes before you tell others they are mistreating their dog. I'm not sure why the press goes crazy when a celebrity "could" be pregnant, divorced, have a personal friend of the opposite gender, or something. Who really cares about what lives they lead? The only reasons people obsess with a celebrity are because: 1. Said person landed lead role in overly hyped about movie 2. Said person is rich 3. Said person is obscenely lucky and gets recognized for a talent by another celebrity 4. Said person is a teenager who is at least 2 of the 3 points listed above 5. Said person is all of the above

Banning hugging, I'm okay with. I haven't had a hug in uh... actually I can't even remember. What I can't stand is banning touching though. It's like telling people to just shut up through the day. IMO the students should just carry on as usual, after all, the principal of the school can't expel or deal with everyone in the school. Too much work for the teachers, as if they don't already have enough to deal with. For example, my principal forbade guys to come into an arm's length of a girl, and vice versa because apparently "love" is hindering our studies. So what did we do? Nothing. What did the teachers do? Nothing.

Ask yourself this: will riding the rollercoaster (literally) kill you? No? Ride it then.

Paintball is rare over here due to overly strict gun issues and we don't have enough land to build houses, much less a huge paintbal arena. Although I have handled a paintball gun on holiday(too bad it was just shooting metal cans).

Sex issues aside, I'd like to know why that moron simply pleaded guilty instead of battling it out with the US law.

I just love RTS games. Got hooked when I was a kid. The Command & Conquer Series, yes I have everything save for Kane's Wrath and RA3: Uprising. AOE. I've heard 3 was a slight disappointment though. Blizzard's RTS (Warcraft and Starcraft) are decent as well. Starcraft has better gameplay, Warcraft has the better technology (pathing AIs and such)

If you like thinking, Red Alert 3 and its expansion have very, very insane multiplayer. Only drawback? 6 players per game.

I think he has exams and such, so hopefully this summer! :D At least that's what he said to me a while ago... Isnt that what he said last summer? He isn't exactly a one man army you know, but I am beginning to lose interest in this...
