I don't really care too much about it. I like seeing them increase and it's fun to compare yourself with friends every now and then, but I think I'll stick to Chevy Chase's policy of measuring myself against other players "by height." Whoever names the movie that's from gets a cookie. :P

Are you even allowed to wear them when they're at 0? I was under the impression that they were much like barrows in that, once fully degraded, their stats were reduced to nothing and they couldn't be equipped again untill repaired/recharged. As for the stats of a charged Green D'hide Coif, they are: Attack: +0 stab, slash, and crush -1 magic +4 ranged Defence: +4 stab +6 slash +8 crush +4 magic +5 ranged +4 summoning

I'd recommend just blowing through the workers until you get 70 defence and full guthans. You could try soldiers, but then you'd need super antipoisons and food. As for what to take, just take your melee armor and a rope in case there isn't already one in place at the entrance (no food should be needed for fighting workers).

Lol, that sounds slightly silly. Risk V Reward is brilliant. Risk V Nothing is a little... pointless? That's what I've always thought, but evidently there are people out there that just like the idea. I even remember a thread from a while back (it must've gotten erased in the rollback) where a bunch of people were saying they liked the idea of having a dangerous mini-game even without the chance for getting other peoples' items.

You have to upload them to a hosting site like photobucket or imageshack. They will then give you a line of code that you place in your post. The code will look something like this: [img=http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb48/acenator/90hitpoints.png]

Pretty much the same thing for me. I started out just using the guides and website features. Then, I created an account to use the Marketplace forums (I was f2p back then) to try to buy/sell stuff and I just slowly got more and more into the forums from there.
