I just found all my old cards the other day ( many good ones too, I have maybe 500-2000 ) and wondering if i could get some cash off them. Do people still buy the old out of print cards? And what about the cards that came in thise tins or the movie cards. I'm wondering as I could use cash. Btw, if anyone wants to buy, drop a pm. March 14, 200719 yr All I can suggest is either asking as a dedicated forum or searching on ebay to how how they sell. March 14, 200719 yr I have like a box of those when I used to collect them about 2 years ago. I'm still debating to sell them on eBay.

March 15, 200719 yr Author I hate that little craze that goes on in lower grades, when the one or two rotten spoiled kid has every fricken' card, and everyone tries to copy them. I actually shoplifted some cards in 3rd grade . I also remember how everyone made fun of you for not having shiny overprice cardboard. I actually had the chance to get a Lego Starwars collectors Star Destroyer ( the $300 7000 peice one ) for $8 ( and by the way I was a Lego fanatic at that time ) but instead I boguht 2 packs of Yugioh cards, with nothing good in them. I still regret that desicion. I also remeber the one or two kids who actually played by the rules didnt have any cards ( cept me, I even went to tornaments :-w ). For 2 years I didnt buy anything except Yugioh cards. Now my addiction has moved over to Warhmmer 40000, but its not like every dollar goes towards it. I hate the whole marketting campaign thing, its basiclly drugs for little kids. Going for 2.4 bil cabbage, plz donatecurrently at 120 cabbage =/
March 15, 200719 yr Wasted $50 trying to get the good cards on that crap. That's pretty cheap actually considering almost everyone spent at least $100 to get a decent deck :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
March 15, 200719 yr It's such a bad investment. My friend had me hooked, and I must've wasted more than $500 on cards. He's wasted more than a $1000, I told him he better sell immediately, and he rejected saying they won't decrease in value. But he had to eat crow when he still owns them now and they're practically worthless. I admire Pok̮̩̉̉mon for their amazing marketing scheme. Me doing staff.
March 15, 200719 yr Author repeat, yugioh cards are drugs for little kids ! :P Going for 2.4 bil cabbage, plz donatecurrently at 120 cabbage =/

I probably spent a good couple hundred, looking back at it  . Thus the name :-w . Oh well, I had fun with it (metagame ruined decks -.- ), and I had nothing better to spend my money on, so I don't really have any regrets :P . REBD ftw. March 15, 200719 yr I still have my Pokemon cards. I have no idea where you could sell your Yu-Gi-Oh ones, I never got involved with those. The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132.
March 15, 200719 yr repeat, yugioh cards are drugs for little kids ! :P Exactly, that's why it's an amazing marketing scheme. The fact that they can sell a piece of cardboard (or whatever) for over a hundred bucks just makes it even crazier o_O. I mean, I can't believe I spent $50 on a Slifer a few years ago  . And your friend better hope that the cards he has will go out of print and won't have a similar card made. Some magic cards are like that. However, don't count on it, yugioh usually has doubles of their cards later, like the blue-eyes white dragon or something.

However, don't count on it, yugioh usually has doubles of their cards later, like the blue-eyes white dragon or something. Yea, that's how they killed it. I think they were trying to eliminate private sales of cards. Pok̮̩̉̉mon was the first to come up with an amazing method, that is cheap, and was the first to mass market it, well Wizards Entertainment anyway. See, the rarest of Pok̮̩̉̉mon cards (street value, $100+) cost the company maybe a $1.00 to make. A common costs around 5-10 cents, so add that together, 7 cards per pack is around 70 cents plus wrapping. Holographics were closer to 50 cents each, so packs ranged from a $1.00 to maybe $1.50/$2.00 to make a pack which was sold for $4.00 retail. Then they were sold wholesale for $2.00 or $3.00. And kids bought them like drugs due to the mass amount or money they spent in successful advertisement. Me doing staff.
March 15, 200719 yr I'd drop the Warhammer 40k hobby ASAP if I were you. Gets VERY expensive and when you're over it, you're like "omfg...", my friend bought thousands of dollars worth of the stuff and then just stopped caring...Still hates himself for it. They're fun to paint...The game itself is kinda' stupid. I never played it, but I did help my friend paint some when I was over a few times. I also built him a few terrain things and stuff 'cause I'm kinda' good at that...Or was, whatever. Plus, they have a Warhammer and Warhammer 40k MMORPG comin' out...Play those. :P The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
