InkofDeath
The little tinny box, that we get to type our messages in, or to post a new topic are great if you don't have more then 10 lines and/or coding stuff in it. The box imo is small if your trying to post the main post in the blog section where there's alot of coding stuff, and it can all get confusing to what code is to what ending tag. I know that you can just write it in another document like notepad, or wordpad, but I think the forums should have a button that'd pop up a window, or some kind of add-on that'd make this box, full screen, or make it bigger. I know I only set an example for the blog, but think about Player made guides, or some off-topic, and especially some graveyard topics, there's probably others too! Hopefully point is taken across... Dragontotem
when you're typing a message, and you are unsure how it looks like when it is ready, you can always use the "preview" button? Errdoth
I know that you can just write it in another document like notepad, or wordpad Then why don't you? As far as I know, there is no MOD developed in either phpbbhacks, or the phpBB MOD database. While such a MOD could be built, it would take a lot of time on the part of Albosky to create one, though he has surprised us before. In short, as said above, use the prieview buttom to iron out any kinks in your post/thread, and if you could find a MOD that would allow the reply screen to be larger, I would be more apt to take into consideration the benefits of that, but you must remember, that phpbb is written in PHP scripting, so if you can point out to me a way to make the screen larger in PHP, and place it in this file, without crashing the servers, then by all means, I will send you a cookie. Parabola
A bit of an aside, but mod is short for modification - it isn't an acronym so you don't need to capitalise it as MOD. Or is it an acronym that I just don't know of? If so, what does it stand for?

I don't really know, your reasoning makes perfect sense, but everywhere else, it is MOD for some reason. http://www.phpbb.com/mods/db/ Last.fm Signature Overlays
The_Sith
Probably to distinguish it from mod(erator). Either way, I wouldn't split hairs. I understand your concern, Skate - but I do find it better to type things in a separate word/notepad (or Microsoft Word). Since that alternative is available, I think the Admins would avoid installing the MOD just to avoid adding any more strain to the server. That being said, if it doesn't add strain, it may be a good idea to have a large field for typing longer posts - maybe a "review" setting or something that only enlarges the field when you want to proof something? There IS the preview function though..
Cruiser
It could most likely be made dynamic in some way using javascript to adjust the width of the inputs, using window size or screen res as a baseline. It wouldn't add anything to the server either because javascript is clientside. And I just have to say, OMG HAI SITHY.
