TomcatLX
http://community.livejournal.com/runesc ... 96075.html This is the link to my screenshot parody regarding the blackjack thieving in the desert. It involves "luring" and "knocking out" npcs for experience. I posted this mainly for Jagex staff to refer to after they have recieved my mail. But since it my post wouldn't reach it's full potential, I decided to share to the tip.it forums about the rampant "luring" that can still be found.... in the desert! T. Skill
erkid"]I'm pretty sure it's not that luring I think that's why it's a parody.. He's trying to make a joke.. It was a pretty good one though. =D> Pirate Rosetta stone. Learn a language while you scape.Sounds interesting, but these days how many people really speak Pirate? TomcatLX
Even if this was funny, it proves a point of contradiction in Jagex policies. I'm here to inform them of either: 1)editing the rulebook 2)editing the thieving skill 3)removing the blackjack thieving in the desert. Plus you can't beat the entertainment value of my hard work! (Photo uploading X.X) I encourage anyone to use this. Since I gave permission, it means you are NOT stealing it from me haha! Besides, this photo shoot technically still belongs to Jagex Ltd. It has my screen name tomcatgt on it, so I already have my "signature" in almost every shot! Adam007
I realize you're trying to be satirical, and can understand you're trying to be funny, but you're taking only the symantecs of the word 'lure' into account and making jagex seem hypocritical when they really aren't. Nonetheless it's a nice job. :)

primadog
=D> well done! Any chance of making this into a video? All I learned in life, I learned on Tip.it
TomcatLX
Doing this sort of bothered me as it was tedious work. (Which is also why I'm not much of a skiller.) Someone else should do the video. I hope I inspire any would-be runescape director/producer/actors out there because I'd rather be pest controlling. ;) Runescape, Funorb, "Mechscape" Videoshttp://www.youtube.com/user/TOMCATLX

"To cheat another player" "Misleading players". Jagex probably specifically wrote it in like that so threads like this would be effectively obsolete. If you don't understand why we have this rule then try to imagine how you would feel if you had spent hours achieving something and somebody else had then tricked you out of it. The npc's in runescape don't spend hours upon hours alching or woodcutting and fletching to achieve the money they have, it's programmed right into the A.I. Besides, this photo shoot technically still belongs to Jagex Ltd. The screenshots fall under fair use
