Yeah so I never brushed before... so I demanded that Keiph teach me... and he was all like "what?! me teach you... I think it's pretty good. The rock was really hard, and it's not so great, but I think overall it's okay.

For your first go, that's pretty damn spiffy man, the mountain bit looks pretty dodgy though, and the clouds don't look like the ones in the picture? :P Looks like you have the same problem as i do when brushing, those jagged looking brushlines. \:

For starting up it's pretty good. Though I don't agree with trying to replicate a scene rather than artistic interpretation, it's stil great for starters. Afterwards theres that whole practice make perfect stuff that annoys everybody because it's true. Meh. =p

Well, I dont like the mountin that much, But i love the sea, on the mountin it looks like ''strach marks'' But the coulds sea etc, Look great.

Excellent job, I think you particularly (sp?) excelled on the shoreline and the clouds. I do think though, that the clouds are bit too 3d... there seems to almost be a shadow behind them, and it doesn't look all that realistic. I also don't like how dark the undershadow on them is, bit too gray for me... Maybe a lighter blue/white?

the mountain has a very bold outline at some parts...not too good on the mountain, and the clouds stand out too much emphasizing on the mountains bad outlining and brish work, and in my opinion the sea doesnt have good deatial for a first its pretty good

i like it, it looks pretty good, especially if you stand farther away (it looks almost real then). Its very well drawn.

try dodging and burning certain edges of the water (if you did this in photoshop)....that way it will look more like a wavy sea and not so smooth. besides that, the beanch and foam is excellent and the mountain you did a suprisingly good job on. it sitll does look a bit flat, but if you bring out the major shadows, i think it should give it some volume. great job so far, i can see some great potential in you. :)
