I, Ginger Warrior, have retired from RS. However, here's the progress of a few of my friends:

 

 

 

MY FRIENDS

 

 

 

Being the frightfully individual person I am, I don't have many friends, not that I really mind all that much. Same goes for RS. I didn't have many to begin with, and most of the ones I had have gone off to play on other things, namely, the XBox 360 (I curse that console!). So now, I only really have one active friend left on RS now, Mc91023.

 

 

 

He has exactly the same goals as I do, the only two differences being that 1) He's miles ahead of me :( and 2) He's training on Yews, banking them and then burning them like a Noob, instead of just burning them on the spot :P

 

 

 

Anyways, here's his Progress:

 

 

 

Mc90123 Goal: 99 Firemaking and 99 Woodcutting

Unfortunately I have a school trip from the 15-21st so 99 being 13k yews away will have to wait till after I get back. 99 wc should be on the 23rd.

Anyways, sorry I weren't on, had to go to my Grandad's funeral... then again, we got to go into Old Trafford, as in Man Utd. Old Trafford, literally a foot away from the pitchside!!! How cool is that!? :

I'm gonna do a house party when I get to 99 Firemaking (I'll get 99 using a fireplace, using a normal log that Mc will chop to get 99 Woodcutting). check back once every now and then to see how it goes along.

Good luck, hope you achieve what you were looking for. But remember- perservere, keep trying. Even if it gets boring. That's what I'm doing- fishing. Of course I'm not that good yet, But hopefully, I'll be able to gloat at my friend in a few months. (he is an rs addict. If he finds out i have higher fishing than him, he'll freak.)

 

 

 

But i don't see why you want firemaking. It's the most pointless skill I've EVER heard of. you light some logs. there's no challengs and no complex strategy involved. It's just use a tinderbox with some logs from a tree of some sort.

 

It's unrealistic, you're still going to be able to burn yew with a tinderbox. no matter how your level may be. (if we had levels in rl).

I've come here to announce my retirement from RS, or at least a very long break. TBH, the stress of everything in my life weighed up against RS has come too much - I've got exams coming up in the next few weeks, Pok̮̩̉̉mon - a game I've loved for ten years now - is coming out soon, I have a girlfriend to worry about and then there's my application to get into medical school (no small mountain, let me tell you!). I guess I just wanna do something different, get out there a bit more if you like, instead of cooping myself up in a fixed position for three hours a day, aimlessly chopping logs and setting alight to them. In fact, when I put it intp that context, I'm glad I'm liberating myself from this game.

 

 

 

Mc90123 can continue to use this blog as he sees fit, as can anyone that comes here. Just ask me to change the name of the blog to include those that want to join it, getting Mc to email me would probably be faster. I know it's late, but congrats on 99 Woodcutting and on 99 Firemaking Mc, I'd have never expected you to do it this fast and it shows incredible determination.

This is a retirement post, so I'm gonna end it with a chessy line :P sorry can't help it! And making you queasy kinda amuses me Mc lol:
