BATTLEHAMMER CLAWS SPEAR (high combat ppl read at least this one) DAGGER & MACE (not talking about dragon items) LONGBOW COMPOSITE BOW THR AXE & JAVELIN LONG SWORD & BAXE (small adjustments...) 2-HANDED SWORD Here are some suggestions about how to make these weapons more popular and better. [Please tell me if you agree. I'm going to get supporters and post this to RS forums later. BATTLEHAMMER - It should be given an occasional stun effect while fighting. CLAWS - Claws should take the gloves's space. - If you had no weapon wielded they would work as weapons, otherwise as gloves (same stats as the RFD gloves of that metal) The gloves would still be better to use since rune claws = 30k, gloves = 8k) SPEAR ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæshould give bonuses vs bigger monsters (2x2 or bigger). + 10% att, def and str vs 2x2 monsters + 30% att, def and str vs 3x3 monsters + 50% att, def and str vs 4x4 monsters (Whip owners stop whining. There are only a few 4x4 monsters in runescape) This would bring back to value the used-to-be-cool weapon dragon spear. DAGGER & MACE - All daggers up to rune should be sold in varrock sword shop. All maces up to rune should be sold in mace shops. - Daggers & maces should also be made even cheaper they are now (rune dagger 6k to buy & mace 12k). LONGBOW In RSC longbow was like shortbow but it fired just a bit further. Why shouldn't longbows be like that now? - Should be 90% of shortbow speed. COMPOSITE BOW - Should be exactly like suggested longbow with +3 range bonus compared to it THROWING AXE - Should be thworing knife with improved range JAVELIN - Monsters should drop more addy & rune javelins. LONG SWORD +10% vs demons & undead BAXE +5% vs 2x2 monsters +10% vs 3x3 monsters +15% vs 4x4 monsters 2-HANDED SWORD +10% vs 2x2 monsters +15% vs 3x3 monsters +20% vs 4x4 monsters Add X to box if you agree :) [ ] BATTLEHAMMER [ ] CLAWS [ ] SPEAR [ ] DAGGER & MACE [ ] LONGBOW [ ] COMPOSITE BOW [ ] THR AXE & JAVELIN [ ] SHORT & LONG SWORD & BAXE [ ] 2-HANDED SWORD

April 8, 200719 yr Warhammer- Sure, sounds good. Claws- Makes sense to me (Though I've never been member). Spear- Not sure what to say, never been able to have one. Dagger & Mace- Disagree with selling all the way up to rune in Lumbridge and the price changes. Longbow- If you increase it's range, lower its firing speed to balance it out. Composite Bow- Sure, why not? Throwing Axe & Javelin- No comment, since I have never used them. Short-/Longswords & Battleaxes- Disagree with upping the bar cost of scimitars and the price change in Dragon Scimitars. Nothing to say about monster drops. 2-Handed Swords- They are much bigger and heavier than longswords, thus harder to swing, even when using 2 hands. I disagree with making them quicker, and the Magic defence could be dropped, but Range should not. Range defence already drops when you remove your shield.

SHORT & LONG SWORD & BAXE - Making a scimmy should take 3 bars of metal and d scimmy should cost 150k! - These (rune) weapons should be more commonly dropped by monsters. 2-HANDED SWORD - Should be long sword speed, and - Should give loads of negative magic and ranged defence (like -15) the only good things in this are claws and warhammers. you say the spear would be more powerful than an abby whip, well guess what? the abby whip was intended to be more powerful than the spear! the longbow has better bonuses so if you speed it up to shortbow speed i can use rapid and be hitting constant 9 - 15's with a yew long and some steels! the composite bow is even more powerful than the longbow so crank me up to constant 12 - 17! do not support.

How long is it that you have been F2p? although long sword is less-used, those three weapons, along with scimmies, are the major weapons for F2p! -Scimmy uses 3 bars? How could a scimmy, which is lighter than a 2H, is smaller than a 2H possibly use as much material as a 2H? Think about that. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.

Maybe Ive been a bit ignorant, but before I had taken a break (I am only recently beginning to play again, which may be the problem with my post), Battle axes were quite in use, same with Two-handers. Long swords were somewhat used. Anyways, theres still quite a few people using them (try 30% of millions, that's about 300 thousand- 1 million, still quite a bit) Also, what about this 'diversity' your post title talks about? I was hoping you would simply suggest a graphical change so you can distinguish a rune plate from an iron plate But what you're suggesting has nothing to do with diversity, just updating these lesser-used weapons. They're lesser used for a reason. That reason is that something else is better, not that they are under-powered. And making scimmies use 3 bars would jack the price of a rune scimmy from 28-32k up to 45k. I don't know about you, but I liked having to pay less for something that is les important (I would rather have a shield or plate legs than a weapon-you can always hit someone with a shield). April 9, 200719 yr The ONLY good thing in this would be warhammer. You get RFD gloves as a reward for doing RFD, so wtf is the point in doing it if u can just use claws? ~~~Gudi~~~
April 9, 200719 yr Author Well rune claws take 2 bars -> about 30k to buy claws while gloves are 7k. Same with all claws. Claws also weight more. Also barrows gloves give the great +12 to all and +6 magic! (Edited away the "scimmy should take 3 bars" since ppl don't seem to like it) Stupid sig not working -.-
April 9, 200719 yr 2 handed swords are used quite frequently actually, would this be members only effects though? 2 handed swords are used a LOT in f2p, often used to KO hit. April 12, 200719 yr Author Longbow and comp bow suggestions edited to be a bit weaker. long, baxe and 2h suggestions now only affect PvNPC fighting Short sword removed since it only takes 1 bar and cuz its a short sword :)
