No matter who they are, where they live, how old they are, everyone has argued with their family/friends. When this happens, the best thing to do is to try and make up and maybe give them a gift or something as well. Also, the best thing to do is to just move on and take it in your stride. You can also learn from this, gaining experience about what your family member's beliefs are, so as not to go against them (if) when you argue again.
