ThruItAll
Check it out, I made a new way to check items, the original will still be here for viewing and supporting, but I think this idea is better due to the people saying about cluttering the right click menu. So, a new button in your thingie, so lets check it out. If you click the dagger, the Check and Compare interface menu will come up. After clicked the middle will look like: As no items are entered, it does not show stats. Note : You have to type the name of the item in. If checking one item, you type the item name into the top box, and that^^ will come up. If you fill both boxes with an item name, this will come up, comparing their statistics, with + and - signs. Some of the pictures I messed up. Sorry :(. (I) The new right-click menu (II) The "Check" Feature (III) The "Compare" Feature ~ The new right-click menu ~ EDIT : The right-click menu would be edited, with the new feature of "Check" and "Compare", It would look like this : ~ The Check Function ~ I've always wondered, if you can see the bonuses of one item only, Often I forget to take items off, and it provides more/less bonuses. Only wieldable/wearable items could be "Checked". When you right click a wieldable/wearable item this menu comes up : If you click "check", I used a steel scimitar, the picture of the item in the middle, with you not wielding it in the picture, it will show the bonuses, it doesnt show the weight of the item, like so: ~ The Compare Function ~ Again, used when clicked "Compare" in the right click menu. This will show at the top of your screen, like using an item: If you confirm the comparison, you will end up with a screen like this : There, like the highscores, you can see the better (and worse,) bonuses of the items, note the + and - signs. ~ Zaaps1 Idea ~ Zaaps1 has given me an extra idea to add on, (check his post) that if the items have an equal bonus, a yellow = sign would represent it, like this: Thanks for the idea! If anyone can make better pictures, (or a sig,) I will gratefully thank them. So what do you think? To avoid confusion, can you please write "I support" or " I dont support ", If you don't support, please tell me how to improve it. Zaaps1
I support, and I have a suggestion too, if the two items are neutral (in other words, have the same bonus for one category) there should be a yellow equals sign to signal this. But you could always just check on tip.it item database if your not in a hurry  ~It's Super Effective! kelbri
Is the compare just to compare what you currently have equiped, to something you want to equip, or can you compare anything to anything? (sorry if I missed that part) I like this idea. Supported (with some re-working as many suggestions, and updates Jagex have already made, need;)

Cool, that's what I though. I like it. As for putting it in the knowlegde base, it could work. Just pick: iron kite and iron square hit the compare button and voila, it shows the stats next to each other. Not as convenient as doing it ingame, but what ever is??? But this way, you could see the compairisons of any item, not just the ones in your inventory. This way you know what you want to work towards for weapons/armor. Maybe TipIt would add this to their knowledge base???
