Should I get WoW?

It's just getting your version of the game 'up to date'. Once it's done, you can play. It's like when RuneScape updates, but just a bit bigger.

 

 

 

Are you in Europe or the US? In the US, people here play a lot on Burning Blade, so if you join that server you can play with some of the folk here. If you're in Europe, I play on Terenas and Shattered Hand (SH is much better).

 

 

 

As for class and alliegance, try every account first. Play around and see what you enjoy most to begin with, then carry on with it.

 

 

 

If you're wondering what 'side' to join, for your own good, join the Horde. In general, a lot more organised, intelligent and less RuneScape-like spam occurs in Horde than in the Alliance. Put it this way, little Johnny 10 year old picks Night Elf because it looks 1337.

 

 

 

Ultimately, pick which appeals to you most.

Just so you know, mages can generally do really good damage, but they die very easily. If you go right into the middle of the fray of things you are probably going to die. If you stay on the outside and far away from your enemies, you will probably do some good damage and get some good kills. If that concept sounds good to you then you should try it.

I would suggest you be an alliance, as horde sucks arse. If your alliance, and want to be a mage, play as either a human or a gnome (they are the only ones that can be mages).

 

 

 

And play on a pvp server.

ok ive had the game for about a week, played it abit but not alot. Me and my friend made Troll warriors and were about level 8 - 9 after 2 days, but i didnt realise how hard it was to level lol #-o

But unlike sycosis, when asked why you thought so, you didn't just reply with something along the nature of "because I say so". You at least gave multiple reasons as to why you thought the game was crap. They were proved to be wrong, however, :P (and poorly founded given the short amount of time you had played it) but at least you showed some effort.
