Fishing lobsters takes a while in F2P, with all the macroers etc. Also, making pie dishes raises mining, and crafting. The stew is much ignored, but has advantages compared to Pie or Pizza: * Eaten in one bite of 11 - it's the poor man's alternative to Lobster (12). * Cooked at level 25, can be cooked over a fire. * No flour milling required. * Can be made with chicken instead of meat, while the potatoes can be pulled up as fast as cabbage. Working between Draynor bank, the potato field to the east and the chickens to the west, Stews can made fairly quickly, if a stock of bowls (good crafting XP) has been prepared.
